Courtyard by Marriott Washington Downtown/Convention Center

Beautiful hotel... Rooms were nice and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Our bedroom had a nice view of the area as well. The bar area is beautiful and breakfast served was very good. We also enjoyed the bartender who did a great job with the drinks.

Excellent hotel which turned out to be a surprise - given that I stayed at the more expensive and supposedly better Marriott at the Metro Center a couple of blocks down just a week before, and found the Courtyard to be significantly better.

Rooms were very new and well appointed, and the bathroom was large, well lit, and excellent. Also kudos to the front desk staff who were polite, kind, and helpful. The fitness center also had a surprisingly lovely view of DC whilst running on the treadmill.

Stayed here for a conference. I had a wonderful time. The customer service was the best part for me. Jeffery at the front desk always went out of his way for guests to make sure they were comfortable and served well. I can't thank him enough.

AB was wonderful I had a late check in New Year’s Eve and he was beyond accommodating. Valet was extra helpful even the guy at the bar (with spikey hair didn’t get his name) I would DEF stay there again. Rooms clean shower was amazing and LOCATION IS GREAT. Next time I’m in DC I’m Def staying here…. THANKS AB

Having a full suite is incredible. Plenty of room, good views, and a full kitchen. All of the staff were very friendly, and the restaurant below was worth every penny.

Spacious clean room. Short walk to the national mall. Delegate restaurant was busy but our host/server, Lynn, was very nice, and accommodating. She deserves 5 stars for her service.

Conveniently located only thirteen minutes from one of the nation's top cardiac emergency hospitals. My husband and I stayed for barely a night and the comfort we experienced in a time of turmoil was absolutely phenomenal. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. I love a good crisp sheet. The bathroom had a beautiful and modern design and I liked that i could creep on my husband from bed.

The cost was very economical and the amenities were great. There's a restaurant in the lobby and a bar and fitness center on the roof that we did not make it to during our short stay. We did try to have a late dinner at The Delegate in the lobby. The fried green tomatoes were chefs kiss, but the service was a little slow and I needed to get to bed and sadly missed out on what is touted to be award winning shrimp and grits. As good as those tomatoes were, I believe them and I'm coming back for those grits.

The front office staff was all top notch hospitality at check in and check out. I ran down to the bar in the morning for a couple of Macchiatos and the service was excellent. It's in a great neighborhood and I saw lots of guests taking advantage of the "walkability" for nightlife and sightseeing. This is a well planned, well staffed and beautifully decorated property and I felt at home away from home and I really needed that, so thank you. I just wish I got my grits, but ima be back.

This is a great place to stay, enjoyed the roof top lounge in the evening. Restaurant was good, service was very good. Check-in staff were friendly. The room was very clean and modern. Great value.

A modern hotel at a convenient location with friendly front desk service and generally clean modern rooms.

My 11th floor room was modern, clean and spacious. Unfortunately, the AC is unbearably loud and constantly whirling despite the thermostat showing the room has reached the set temperature. I didn’t bother notifying the staff as I stayed only one night. The bathroom exhaust fan grille was covered in dust (see photo). It’s unfortunate the dirty grille is obvious as it is placed near eye level.

An “Impressive Marriott” property that has several levels of corporate convention rooms, great food service and location from Union Station/Metro. This location is adjacent to the convention center and walking access to restaurants, Safeway and steps away from the APPLE Store.

I looked at various hotel locations for my trip to Washington DC and am so glad that I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown/Convention Center.

The first reason why this hotel is top notch is the location. You are close to all the historic cities within DC and not too far from Union Station as well.

Secondly, the staff go out of their way to make sure you are valued as a guest.

Finally, the rooms are exceptional and make you feel like you're at home.

I look forward to my next stay at the Courtyard Downtown Washington DC!!

I have no complaints about the Courtyard by Marriott Washington Convention Center. It was a very nice property with exceptional customer service. The rooms were large and well appointed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bed linens felt wonderful. The room and bathroom were spotless. Everything about the hotel from the lobby, hallways and restaurant were clean and well maintained. It is located in a quiet and safe area. We walked everywhere without any problems. My 12 day stay was fantastic and I highly recommend this property. The rooms also have safes.

This a beautiful hotel with really beautiful interior. Every employee I spoke to was nice kind and more than helpful it really made the difference. It's in a safe place in DC that Isn't overrun by a lot of foot traffic but I can't stress how safe I felt being around there even while walking a few blocks at 1am at night. Pleasantly and nice quite on a Sunday so that was cool.

I had a friend that stayed in their room really really nice clean spacious. Card is needed to move freely in and out after nine I believe. And over a solid five.

Very comfortable hotel. Conference rooms are kept on the cool side, so bring a light jacket or sweater if attending conferences

We had a bit of a wait checking in since they had an internet outage. The staff had to manually check each booking but they handled the situation very well. They brought out waters and snacks for us while we waited to get checked in. A ton of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

Our go-to hotel in DC. Consistent quality at a reasonable price. Good location for making walkable everything we want to do...mall, museum options, range of restaurants. Decent bar/restaurant on premises. Reasonably quiet...may get some noise from adjacent room when set up to allow adjoining. Hasn't been a major issue. Parking is at usual cost for DC but fast and careful. Never had parking issue. Will be back.

Great hotel right in the center of everything. Directly to the walk from great cigar lounge.
My only complaint on this stay is regarding the front desk personnel (Erika - not sure how she spells her name). She want out right rude but she was short and not very pleasant to speak to. I am unsure what the overnight lady’s name was. I didn’t see her name clearly…. Last night there and I had been drinking 🤦🏾‍♀💁🏽‍♀ But she was great to work with. Her patience was greatly appreciated.
The restaurant milk and honey was awesome for breakfast. Loved that they were there. Saturday they had a DJ and that was a pleasant surprise.
The rooftop area was very laid back and great for reading it day drinking.

All in all I would stay here again.

Had a phenomenal stay here. The staff, especially Greg, were friendly, super accommodating, organized, clean and provided quick service. The room itself was lovely, spacious and had a nice view. Additionally, it has a nice on-site restaurant that makes picking up a quick bite convenient but also is close to local spots within walking distance. Plus its right across the street from the convention center. I will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel and in great location with clean and spacious rooms. The hotel is within walking distance from the main museums and the mall. There are lots of nearby bars and restaurants as well. The rooms are nice and a good size. Initially we were on a lower floor and there wasn’t a lot of light so we moved to a higher floor and the room was bright. Overall great stay!
