Enjoyed it a lot! Was our first time to try it, as we were passing through town. The waitress was very sweet and made a great suggestion to try the coco special plate. Then to add to a great experience a local paid for our meal! Great food, great service, and welcoming community.

Good food and big portions, me and the Hubs share a plate. We also get queso and it's amazing. Staff that has even memorized our usual order.

Great for this area! We don't really have to much to choose from but I do like Ernie's

We stopped here on our way back to Midland. This place was excellent! Great atmosphere, food, and staff. I believe our waitress was Sharon. Not positive on name but she was great! It was like eating at your Aunt’s house (and that’s a good thing!). Food came out quick and was delicious! She was friendly and was great at her job. She visited with a few people in the restaurant as you could tell they were regulars but only for a minute. She was super busy taking to go orders by phone and welcoming customers. Great multitasker!

Best hamburger and fries I've ever had. Way way better than I can make on grill. Fries are perfect and green sauce is 2 thumbs up.Girl waiting our table put us in good mood . 1st visit ,but there will be more.

Our go to spot here in Breckenridge. Lots of options on the menu and the prices are very reasonable. The salsa for the free chips could use more flavor but the food and staff is terrific. Will come again and again for sure.

We have been eating at Ernie's for about 40 years now. The food is good and the service is fast. If its your birthday the entire place will sing while you wear the sombrero.

Great place to grab something quick to eat. Fun wait staff and friendly environment. It was family friendly and had plenty of parking. Prices were great and the food was quite quick as well. Great stop.

Had a basketball tournament in Breckenridge Texas Saturday. We have eaten at Ernies Spanish Kitchen many times. Right on the main drag going into town from west. The service is always good, the food is excellent as well. I got deluxe nachos, and my wife got the chicken fried steak with fries, gravy, salad, etc. They have lots of varieties of food and not just Mexican cuisine. It's good ole Texas home cookin' at its best. You will like it, I guarantee! LT

Very good food! I had the deluxe plate and everything had great flavor. The chips? YUMMY salsa not hot but great!
Service a littke slow but the food made up for it.

Looking at the name made me wonder but it was a great surprise!! We both did the "make your own plate" with a chili relleno, cheese enchilada, tamale and a crispy taco. They use different sauces on the enchilada and the relleno. And both were delicious! I think the menu said both of those sauces are homemade in house. I tried a sample of the sangria margarita. It's a frozen margarita in one of those swirl machines. It was pretty tasty. There were lots of cars in the parking lot which is why we chose to stop at this restaurant. We will most definitely go again when we are in the area. And our waitress, Destiny, was awesome!

Probably the best Cheeseburger I've ever had and the fries were awesome. If your not super hungry don't try the double. 😅😊

We go there every Thursday. Always great food. Amber and Destiny are the greatest waitress' ever.

The finger steaks and french fries are super here. Their ranch salad dressing is homemade. Strongly recommend their hamburgers also!
