I visited Fig and Olive for dinner during the Metro Washington Restaurant Week. The prix fixe menu featured a lot of the great options that they have on their regular dinner menu; and the options from the cocktail menu had a good range of various liquor bases on offer.

The service was great. The server for our table was attentive despite being busy with a few tables.

For my three courses I had:
• Burrata di Bufala
• Peppercorn-Crusted Strip Steak
• Lemon & Olive Oil Cake

I really enjoyed the Burrata di Bufala - it was my first time trying roasted golden beets, and it was much to my delight. The difference in textures and flavours with the beets, honey crisp apple and burrata was delicious.

For my main course I opted for the Peppercorn Crusted Strip Steak, which was prepared just as I wanted it. I enjoyed this overall - but I will say I found the roasted veggies a little too salty for my liking.

Overall this is a very upscale Mediterranean restaurant in the gorgeous Palmer Alley. Don’t be surprised if you see people having mini photoshoots in the alley - it is a pretty great location for unique pictures with a trendy background.

Had some girl time and enjoyed the warm fall day eating outside. Since November is my birth month, of course there was cake. We had some bumps but the manager handled it beautifully and got us all sorted.

So I was just getting to DC, and of course was starving, somehow I found this little gem. Hostess was super friendly and gave us a table immediately. Drinks, food, I fell in love with the fresh oysters I got. An amazing fig salad and delicious dessert. I want to go back

We were in town to visit a nearby museum and were happy it was close to City Center. We'd been to the area a few times, and wanted a cocktail and nosh or two. Fig and Olive was a place we've enjoyed before, and the day was perfect for sitting outside, in the shade.

We started with their Sirocco margaritas, and added panko crusted Spanish octopus, little gem salad, roasted squash and goat cheese flatbread, and prosciutto with manchego. All tasty bites good for sharing.

We also enjoyed the kids playing in the fountains.

Delicious meal. The restaurant is tucked away and away from the noisy street. The atmosphere is very comfortable. The food was so tasty with a great blend of spices and ingredients. We had the Brick Chicken and the Moroccan spiced salmon. Highly recommend.

I happened by this place for an impromptu Easter brunch and am so happy that I did. The interior is elegant but inviting. The staff was attentive, the food was superb and other than that weird hump in the floor it was a successful visit.

Fig & Olive offers amazing Mediterranean dishes with an elegant ambiance. The service was top notch and the server recommended some delicious meals and drinks that complimented each other very well. The chef did a wonderful job with food presentation and the choice of sauces and seasonings left my mouth watering after each bite. The bill came out to around $170 and I was extremely satisfied with the entry-to-exit experience.

The restaurant is located in a great spot in DC, near high-end shops and Chinatown. I went for an early dinner in September of 2022. Even though the restaurant is located in an alleyway, there was tons of light, it was brilliant. I got an upscale, homey vibe to the establishment which was filled with larger tables to seat parties, quaint sofas, and chairs to give off a lounge feeling, and right in the heart a very spacious bar, which is where I was placed by staff.

I started off with the crustini appetizer (prosciutto, burruta, and confit caramelized onions), sampling all three choices. The confit was my favorite out of the three. The burrata was flavorless, and the prosciutto- on a scale of 1-10 -I would give a 7. I also tried the lamb skewers, which were accompanied by a couscous-golden raisins-cashew blend. I don't usually like nuts in my food, but it was delicious! The lamb was seasoned well, tender, and the couscous mix was a perfect combination. Although it was cold, I wasn't sure if that was on purpose or sat out too long. For my main course, the hanger steak, served with a chimichurra, swiss chard, and fingerling potatoes. I ate the potatoes, and the swiss chard was NOT good. The chimichurra was good, but honestly, it was not needed as the steak was seasoned to perfection and had a great cook. My drink of choice was the Lavender Fields, which tasted like dishwasher liquid. I'm happy to say it was removed from the bill. I went with an old faithful after that, lemon drop🍋.

Great staff, super friendly, and attentive. Seasonal menu, a recommended spot for a dang good meal.

Really enjoyed this place! It was close to my hotel so I figured I'd give it a try. I am gluten free and they had some good options. The service was excellent, and food was terrific, and the ambiance was fun and relaxing. I'll definitely be back in the future!

My family was here a couple of years ago before the pandemic and had a wonderful experience. My husband and I came back here last Saturday for Valentine's day. From making the reservation, everything was done with ease.

When we arrived, the photo ID and vaccination card were checked 👍. Every dish we had was very pleasant to our palate. Some menus definitely got us curious that we kept referring back to the menu to read descriptions! Any small potential issues were addressed by such attentive + friendly managers Sofia and Ian 👌even before we said anything.

Keep up the great work the team members at Fig and Olive! Thank you for being there and providing us a safe and phenomenal place to make amazing memories.

We decided to try here after reading about it online. The food was delicious and the ambience was just as good.

We chose to sit outside because we came without a reservation and the inside wasn’t available. Outside worked well, though because the weather was perfect.

I ordered the grilled tuna sandwich and it hit the spot. Seared well and the seasonings complimented the fish. The bread was also nice and crunchy.

We also ordered a Mediterranean egg dish…I can’t recall the name but it was also fantastic. The sauce the eggs are in were full of flavor…honestly, it exceeded our expectations.

Finally, I ordered the signature cocktail that was nice and cold. Perfect for starting the day…

The waitstaff was super friendly and courteous, as well. Really happy with the whole experience.

It’s located right in the middle of CityCenterDC. So if you’re in that area, worth stopping by.

I highly recommend Fig& Olive to DC visitors, service is always consistent. I went for brunch, I liked that the menu wasn’t overwhelming with options. I had the cauliflower salad which was delicious, I ordered a side of salmon because I thought the salad alone wouldn’t be filling - I was wrong, salad was very fulfilling. My partner got the fig & olive burger and said it was great. We had the Spanish octopus as a shared appetizer and it was also very tasty. Speciality cocktails were also a hit.

The food was fantastic! Everything is well priced and spiced well.

The restaurant is located in a Courtyard in City Center.

I got the (incredible) Roasted Cauliflower with raisins and a garlic emulsion and it was perfectly cooked so that the outside got crispy. The raisins add sweetness and balance the salty emulsion. I recommend you get an actual appetizer instead of the crustini though. I was much more satisfied than my friend, who got the Chef's Choice crustini.

The Mushroom Rigatoni was very filling. I normally don't go for mushrooms, but these were cooked and salted just right.

For dessert, my friend and I shared the Chocolate Obsession which was smooth and fluffy with decadent chocolate all the way through.

Delicious experience! Beautiful restaurant and excellent service. It's a bit pricier than your standard brunch but well worth the $. I ordered the steak and eggs which was amazing and came out promptly..also ordered the truffle fries..yum! .
I was not a huge fan of the Rosselini as it has a heavy syrup taste but otherwise everything was fantastic
