SOULEX float spa

My first float was interesting but enjoyable! With an active mind like mine, it took some time to relax. I enjoyed the quiet, the warm water and the floating feeling. My muscles even felt better when I was done. I booked 2 more sessions that day. A definite must try if looking for a different type of self case.

Great experience! I received spa package as a birthday gift. I was a little nervous at first being closed inside the pod but once I relaxed and tried to enjoy the experience of floating on salt water I actually fell asleep. Staff was friendly and made you feel comfortable. I'm sure I will enjoy my next visit even better now that I know what to expect.

First time experience. The front desk attendant was super sweet and informative. She made my visit very pleasant. I also LOVED the oil in the bathroom and the other amenities in the powder room. Will be back again!

Floating has become essential to my life. It clears my head, relaxes me emotionally and physically, and helps me make time for myself. And Soulex is amazing. The owner and all the staff are wonderful, the space is clean and calming, and every other patron I’ve met there has been kind and warm. It’s a must-visit.

I was treated to a float session this week and am totally convinced. A total body and mind relaxation experience. It even surprisingly and noticeably helped to relax my jaw, leading to a night of no teeth grinding. I will definitely be back.

Loved it and highly recommend trying this out! Super friendly staff, very clean and nice amenities, and the float itself is incredible! Body feels so relaxed afterwards and I had the best night of sleep at the end of the day. My one lesson learned is- rinse your ears out afterwards even if you think no water got in! Because otherwise there will be some salt getting in there crackling in your ears for a day or so lol!

I am all in on the Soulex experience. I consider it to be my complete nervous system reset experience. I practice meditation and find that the experience of floating has deepened my ability to let go of most things mental and physical. I always look forward to my next visit. The experience is augmented by the facilities themselves and all who serve their clients. I recommend Soulex to all who are open to the experience and their pursuit of wellness.

My husband and I made our first visit to SOULEX this weekend. We are beyond pleased with our spa float! Every single detail in the spa is meticulously curated for a relaxing and all inclusive experience - from well crafted orientations before our visit, all the way to ginger snacks and every amenity you will need after your float! Pedramin was an amazing host, ensuring we felt comfortable and well informed before we started our float. The spa is also furnished with the highest quality equipment and products, again - leveling up the luxurious atmosphere. We cannot wait to make another visit to SOULEX!

How can you have your expectations exceeded, if you don't know what to expect? Check out this place, on my first time visit, I was stunned by the atmosphere of relaxation, the facility is immaculate, and the hostess was very accommodating. Artworks in the building are originals by the proprietor (whom I'm still awaiting a call back for a particular piece that speaks to me). I love love LOVE this place and have decided to become a regular!!

I’ve been floating at Soulex almost every Sunday for the past 3+ years. Through this time I’ve watched Pedramin (owner) grow the business with the same enthusiasm, upbeat positivity, attention to detail, high end customer service that I experienced from day one.

The Environment::
The spa itself is a serene aesthetically pleasing environment. Minimalistic yet contemporary design that can be appreciated by the design forward or more simplistic customer. There’s a silence that permeates through the space even with the relaxing background music that plays lightly in the background.

The Service::
Excellent customer service and attention to detail. Ive witnessed multiple orientations for newcomers who arrive around the same time as me. It’s warm, it’s welcoming, and it’s thorough. You’ll always be asked whether you want water or tea before and after your float. That’s like the Soulex way of saying Hello. There are cubby’s for your shoes, and slippers for you to slip in to for walking around the spa.

The Experience::
The float pods are cool looking spaceship pods. There’s also a float room with a pool big enough for couples to float together or customers who prefer the open basin style.
I’m a 5’10.5 male and I’m able to float comfortably without the touching the edges of the tank. There are all the standard and premium spa amenities (bath robes, hair dryer, ear plugs etc). The ginger chew and water on the towel ledge, at the end of the float are a nice touch while you wash all the salt off.

The Extras::
The Soulex candles are a hit!

Lastly, floating is one of those things you do where the benefit compounds. Don’t be dismayed if the first time you feel like you couldn’t relax or get into it. The truth is most of us don’t. Took me like 4 times to begin relaxing during my floats. Once you learn how to get out of your own way, that skill will seep into other areas of your life.

SOULEX Float Spa is amazing!!!! Right when you walk in the staff is so friendly and attentive to any questions you may have. Once you’re in the pod you float your troubles away. I strongly recommend SOULEX and will be returning regularly!

My friend convinced me to take the plunge and try SOULEX. I didn't know what to expect going in, but the friendly staff walked me through everything I needed to know.
The experience itself was relaxing and cathartic to a degree I never expected. I walked out of my 60 minute float refreshed and with a zest for life. All this despite sleeping very poorly the night before.
If you have the chance and time to invest in yourself and your wellbeing, SOULEX is the place to go.

One of the BEST float spas that I have visited. The place is so peaceful and relaxing. As soon as we enter the Spa you feel that you have entered a place away from the city noise and stress.

Regularly Floating for an hour has helped me with pain and releasing stress from my busy week.

This is a beautiful place! I highly recommend trying this at least once in your life. It's such an escape and takes relaxation to the next level. Mary is fantastic, so accommodating and has thought of EVERYTHING. The float rooms are immaculate, very clean and taken care of. Very friendly staff. My only suggestion for first timers would be to bring a hairbrush for after. They offer combs but for long hair it's easier to have your own brush.

Had my first float at Soulex and it was quite the experience!! The water is so salt saturated that you float with no effort. There's a gorgeous shower in the room to clean up before and an after your relaxing float. The epson salt soak was also great for my sore muscles. Will definitely be heading back to give it another try and see if i can hold my meditation longer.

I can’t stop thinking about this amazing experience. I think this is better than a massage therapy for the tension in my body!. Also the owner was so lovely, the space so charming and relaxing, it was destined to be a good experience. My husband and I came by tonight to try it for the first time and we were both impressed. I’m a convert. Thank you!!

Every time I have floated at SoulexDC it has been a wonderful experience. It is always clean and welcoming there. The float experience itself is next-level relaxation and I highly recommend it. Kudos to Pedramin and her team for consistently providing excellent customer service!

First time floating, and it was great. We did a 60-minute float in the open air basin. The employees were kind and welcoming, and it especially felt safe with covid procedures. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but found it easier than I thought to relax (the head floaty was perfect!). We agreed we would definitely return and can’t wait to tell our friends about it. Everyone in DC surely nerds a little relaxation, this is the place to go!
