Stayed here for a conference in November 2023. Rooms were great, service came diligently every alternate days and breakfast was good.

They had cheese omelettes and scrambled eggs on alternate days, common spread had sausages, chocolate and cinnamon muffins, fruits, oatmeal, bread, bagels, juices, milk and much more. Cinnamon muffins were superb!

The Irish pub inside the hotel is great for pre-gaming or just a casual hangout. There's a good late night bar around the corner as well.

Shout-out to Darrell for helping us with everything from safely storing our luggage to promptly and happily helping us with everything we needed!

The area in general has good restaurants and popular places to eat, could get a bit shady at night though. We didn't feel much probably because of the extra 30,000 people in the area for the conference.

This hotel is awesome! Not sure why so many people commented negative things… This hotel is so nice, rooms are clean and updated, staff is amazing, and so is the location! The area is in Chinatown and some parts of Chinatown have some homeless people or drifters. However, if you follow tourists routes, you won’t see that at all. We went to visit the National Mall so we just walked south of the hotel and it was perfect! It was a 15 min walk to the National Mall and about a 20 min walk to the White House. It’s also 15 mins from Union Station which is how we got to and from DC. We loved the breakfast as well! Plenty of food to choose from and it was so yummy! The staff was more than helpful at 3am when my 2 year old got sick suddenly. They were nice enough to bring us new sheets and take the soiled ones away, even at that hour. The temperature worked really well in our room so no complaints there. If noise bothers you, turn on the fan on your climate control unit and set it to “on”. It will run all night and block out most of the noise if you hear any. We will be staying here again for the Cherry Blossom Festival! Two thumbs up!

I come down to DC once a month for work and didn’t love where I always stayed so I decided to switch it up and I’m so glad I did! The hotel is beautiful, my room was amazing with the most beautiful view of the church across the street! Loved hearing the church bells, too. ALL of the staff went above and beyond and were so gracious and kind and honestly, fun! Mazimba, the manager of the valet was so accommodating and made the parking process in a busy area, so easy!! Ebony, the Manager was amazing and such a joy to work with. The room was spotless, spacious and so comfortable! This is my spot from now on when I’m in town!! Thanks, guys!

If I could give 10 stars for service at this Hotel, I would. They definitely deserve more than 5. From finding my daughter and I a room after my clerical error had me canceling my initial reservation only to re-book it for the wrong day. to allowing my daughter to borrow scissors so she could work on her homework assignment, to the kind and courteous valet. The kindness of the staff seemed to rub off on all the guest. My most pleasing hotel stay in a very longtime. Room was very neat and large for a city hotel. I will definitely stay again.

My fiance and I had come up to check out a CAPS game which was really close to the hotel. The hotel was busy so there was a bit of a wait but thats to be expected during seasonal games in that area. Our room was great, no issues there. We enjoyed the Irish Channel Pub next door which was a ton of fun.

We checked out the next morning, no issues at all. It wasn't until we got home that I realized I had left my engagement ring and other important jewelry at the hotel accidentally. Of course I panicked and called the hotel and they said they could not be found and to call back in the morning for the housekeeping manager Ms. Yung to see if she had them in her safe. I spent the next 12 hours agonizing over the loss of my beautiful ring and jewelry. The next morning I called and Ms. Yung confirmed that she had my jewelry, and that our housekeeper had turned it in when she cleaned our room, and that she would keep it in the safe until I picked it up. I'm being 100% honest when I say that i fully believed and prepared myself for the possibility my jewelry was gone forever, never to be seen again except in pawn shops or ebay. But Ms. Yung, her housekeeping team, and the staff at the FI&S restored my faith in humanity and I am forever grateful to them for their integrity and for reuniting me with my belongings. I left a reward for our housekeeper because it was a small token of appreciation for returning my jewelry to me, and she saved me from a hassle of police reports and insurance claims. In this day and age it's hard to trust people, but I can undoubtedly say the staff and crew here are honest and trustworthy people and I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay here.

Thank you Ms. Yung, and Fairfield Inn & Suites!

Stayed for a holiday weekend and was pleasantly surprised! I rather sleep in the car than most hotels because of smelly worn carpets and scary beds and bathrooms! But this 3-star hotel came correct!

NO Carpets! Clean room fairly modern and not too worn out! Bathroom was clean shower too! AC worked great during 100+ weather outside! They allow dogs for a fee which is sweet! Free Breakfast!

Close to Capital arena and museums! Outside can get sketchy at night. But it is a city after all. 5 ⭐’s for a 3 star hotel is a win anyday!.

I stayed dec 18-19 2023, my room was great, the breakfast buffet is great but the greatest thing ever, was I left some personal items in the closet and I called back 4 days later asking if they have lost and found! And to my amusement they did have lost and found, and had my personal items bagged up for me to come pick up!! I am truly grateful for the honesty and hospitality of Fairfield Inn in DC! Thank you again

I love this place! It's clean, the staff was friendly. The breakfast was delicious! 2 minute walk to Capital One Arena. Chinatown has so much to offer, we were within walking distance of it all! We will be staying here again!

We chose this location because of the distance to the national mall. It was absolutely perfect. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly addressing our needs with no issue. The valet was $52/night which seemed a little pricey at first, but proved to be a huge help after checking the fees for parking garages in the area, plus the valet was amazing. Just scan the qr code they provide, and you'll get a text when your car is ready. Monuments, museums, restaurants were all within walking distance and perfect for our trip. Will definitely recommend and visit again!

Very nice hotel with a little bar attached. The place is very clean and fairly modern; bathrooms are a little bit dated, but overall really a nice place. This was my first visit to DC, but the location seemed to work for a lot of tourist attractions, though wasn't super close to any one thing in particular.

The room was clean. The service was good and the location was perfect. Parking was a pain but I honestly don't know how they could have done it any better.

Stayed here for almost a week for a conference at the nearby convention center and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and updated and relatively quiet. The location was perfect and was a short walk from the arena, the national mall, and the convention center. The free breakfast was pretty good, was always well-stocked, and had both hot and cold breakfast foods available. There are many excellent restaurants and bars within walking distance and it's very convenient to the metro. Overall, I had a great stay. The only disappointment I had was with the fitness center, which is relatively small and sometimes became crowded. Downtown D.C. has its share of characters on the streets nearby, but if you're used to urban areas I doubt you'll feel unsafe.

great location, clean rooms, friendly staff. parking sucks but it is DC. during our stay the card reader on our door broke, Eugene was super helpful fixing the door and another issue I mentioned in passing. the breakfast area is crowded, look for opportunities to share a table.

We were in a pinch and this hotel came through! Our flight was canceled late at night, I made a call and they reserved a room. The staff, especially Tiffany, was so helpful! Just a 9 minute drive from the airport, and you get to see the Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument on the drive! Most historical sites are within walking distance!

The staff was beyond amazing! All so friendly and helpful. The rooms were great, breakfast bar was good too, always well stocked and clean. I would definitely stay here again. When we first got to our room the door wouldn’t lock, called the front desk and they sent someone up immediately and offered to help move us to another room. I cannot say enough about the staff… simply awesome

Our room was large and clean with hardwood floors. The staff is amazing and they have a continental breakfast and a fitness room. Location is questionable since it is placed perfectly for touring the city and exploring but there are sketchy people on the streets all around the hotel. Not the hotels fault but makes walking a bit uncomfortable.
