Was there for a friend engagement celebration. I didn’t habrá the food but I had a drink. The atmosphere was very boho Puerto Rico. Love the colorful decor with bike frames. Great bar service. Bartender offered us to choose song selection which was cool.

Since they've just opened back up there was no official cocktail menu, but the bartender made this Paper Plane cocktail based on the liquor and flavor profile I wanted and it was great. Fun vibe

What can I say? My longtime favorite cocktail bar in DC. The mixologists are the best in the business.

Passenger is the super cool downstairs bar - Rockabilly style music, beer & tiki cocktails. And upstairs you have Hex, the dark, witchcraft themed bar where you can get the most incredible drinks imaginable. Both spots have a really fun atmosphere, no pretention, good food and damn knowledgeable bartenders. Our favorite place to drink & hangout in DC.

Really good drinks caring bartenders and chill vibes

Decided to check out Hex bar. Great, creative cocktails! Bar decor was appropriately creepy. Definitely a fan.

So happy we stopped in. The decor is dark and eclectic, and Nick is an absolute cocktail wizard. Every drink was expertly made, including a fresh squeezed grapefruit for my Paloma. It was like watching a potions master, as we described what we were in the mood for and Nick used and array of drops, sprays, peels, etc to concoct the perfect drink. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

This place exceeded my expectations - was referred to this bar by a server last month and it was just as great as he said! They do classic cocktails perfectly and the bartenders are creative and experienced enough to bring whatever kind of cocktail you'd like to life. Also, please note: this place has the best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my entire life.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Brilliant cocktails - standard happy hour menu; the highlight for me was their thought through special crafts which were well worth the money. If you are on the lookout for a new hangout or a afterwork regular - you'll appreciate the space and the feel.

What more can I say its a great vibe with cool bartenders and feels like home. Even though its random people the vibe doesn't seem to change and that let's me know that they continue to do a great job. If you get a chance to experience this place I'm sure you will love it

We were walking by and decided to try it out for a drink. The drink was themed after Star Wars since the release was happening that same week and it was amazing! I would definitely go back with a group of people since it seemed to be a great place for larger parties. The bartender was attentive and kind, definitely will return!

Visited DC for the weekend with my friend. I'm from Philly and she's from the Bay Area and we were both impressed by the service and quality drinks (especially the beer!)

Good drinks, friendly staff, and solid food. Well worth a visit. Their cocktails are reasonably priced, but as someone who is used to Philly's citywide special (tallboy of PBR and a shot of Jim Beam) being about three bucks, I cannot abide their $9 combo special.

Great for cocktakls or a beer and a shot. Bartenders are fun and knowledgeable and willing to pour some sampies.

GREATNESS!!!! My bartender was the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! It was the owner he is a great bartender. The wings.....OMG THE WINGS!!!! They are a must have sweet with the right heat. WILL BE RETURNING. Can't forget about the great music/bands upstairs. Bring your friends, family, next office party because I'll be there!

Never been let down at Passenger. Happy hour cocktails are a steal. Service is usually pretty slow, but bartenders are very nice and personable.

My favorite bar in Washington, DC - fully, truly, and without a doubt. I can't recommend this bar enough. The owner, Derek Brown, is a mixology expert. The staff will make you the most sophisticated and delicious drinks or you can simply enjoy classics in the best dive bar environment.

What is the most understated element of this bar is the food. The menu is delicious and easily qualifies as one of the highest quality places to get bar food in the entire city. If you are in Washington, DC and looking for a great place to hang out, you'd be stupid not to come here.

Great place to visit if you want a good cocktail; everyone there is very knowledgeable, and very polite. Plus, there's a beer/shot combo for those that wanna get cross-faded on a budget (me).
