Able's Cheese

The new owners, are so sweet. They're pretty outgoing people. they build rapport with their customers, plus greet everybody as if they were family walking through the door. I really enjoyed my visit. actually twice in the same day LOL

Was just there today March 17 2023. Two new cashiers, both were extremely nice! it was a pleasant visit and they were quick. Its hard to be quick and courteous when you're busy. but they maintained complete professionalism. Nice job girls. The cheese was excellent absolutely excellent the refrigerators stocked a little bit better. It was slim pickings but I managed to find me some couple Deli bowls and there was no free samples out. For me free samples is what sells if I can taste that cheese I'm going to buy it if I like it kind of a cheese connoisseur of sorts LOL but I'll give the girls credit it was busy and that those items so quickly and it was right at the off work Rush trail baloney was so good. And Colby jack was smooth and creamy. Taste very fresh. The regular Colby was also good. I like Swiss, not big fan but it was ok. It was hard and chewy lol. But wasn't much to choose from I took the last two in the refrigerator.

Love this place. I stock up when I go home for visits. Love the cheese,trail bologna,candy,and the last time I was there they had cinnamon round loaves. Would love to be able to order for the holidays. Can't get enough of this place.

Excellent products and the sandwiches are always made fresh to order. Friendly staff that seem to really enjoy their jobs. Best cheese selection.

Back in the last 90's, before my folks passed away, my father and I would stop at Able's to get my mom some of the delicious baby swiss. She loved it. Very soon I will be returning there after many years and hope to become a regular customer!

If you are traveling and go thru Sardis, Oh you most definitely should stop by Able's cheese and try it... Hands down best cheese I've had in a long time

A real treasure tucked away on the Ohio River in the Appalachian foothills. Wonderful selection of regional and imported cheeses, including some you've probably never heard of. And they'll give you a sample to taste. The pulled pork is good to!

I just ordered a Beef Brisket sandwich! It was absolutely delicious! It came with shredded beef brisket cooking in a little barbecue sauce, piled high on a round sesame bun. I ordered it with Pepper Jack cheese. The fat in the brisket made everything moist, the barbecue sauce added a hint of tang and the toasted bun brought everything together; I could have ordered it without the cheese and would not have missed it.

Such a great little stop for all cheese and some very tasty meats. New owners from around 2022 however not a single thing has changed. Well worth the time spent on the side of the road to experence this place.

Finest meat and cheeses available from the Amish country. Fresh sandwiches, hot soup daily, and several other choices for snacking. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly customer service. Stop in and check them out!!

Best cheese in the world. Will definitely be back when we take vacation. That's the reason we came to visit that store because their known to have the best cheese ever . And it was worth the trip from Tennessee.

From a childhood memory of stopping at this store while traveling to visit family down in Charleston, we would stop on our way home & bring back all kinds of cheese. Today while traveling down for the first time in years I still remember this little store & was super excited to be able to continue our memory stop on our way back home to load up on cheese & beef jerky. I’ll be making a special trip just to stock up again with my husband. I love this little store & the staff that works just from the 10 minutes of being there, they were welcoming & happy to help.
