La Rancherita Taco Shop

Case of don't judge a book by it's cover, pulling up through the gravel alley to the front of what looks like an old feed building it gave me second thoughts. The inside has a well loved feel as well. The food and service more than made up for it. We were greeted by a big patient smile as we read through the menu. The food was authentic, fast and delicious. Would certainly recommend to others and would go again.

Yummy steak, well-roasted serranos, good salsa. Paid $20 for a carne asada plate (which made 6 tacos) and a coke.

This place is for you. Not fancy but hot damn absolutely authentic and delicious! The service was fantastic as well. If you like authentic and fresh Mexican food go here. What are you waiting for? Get going!

One of the Best Tortas i have had the meat is well season. The toasted bread bring this mouth watering samdwich together for me. Always fresh and moist.

Best tacos I've had since leaving California 15 years ago.

I just moved out of the area and frequented this restaurant since shortly after it was established as "the taco truck"... I miss it badly, the best food in town, and I've rarely had Mexican that rivals it. The lady that runs this place is so sweet. The first time i ever came to this restaurant, I didn't realize they were cash only (they takes cards now so don't worry) and she told me not to worry about it and pay her next time. I refused and went to the ATM and came back, but this sort of hospitality is unusual... these people are passionate about using their skills and aren't doing it for the money. I wish them the very best.

Got the tacos el pastor. Amazing. And what about the green salsa you ask? Also amazing. Was in and out in 15 minutes. Too bad I live 6 hours away otherwise I'd be here daily.

I really really like the food here. The burritos are not dry. The tacos are super good and the guac is awesome. Good amount of seating in there and the staff is welcoming. Eat here about a couple times a month.

This place is wedged between industrial buildings, and the food is skillfully made. It's the classic small shop. I only regret I couldn't eat it all.

This is a top 5 Hispanic restaurant that I have visited during my job travels in Ia, Mn, Sd...highly recommend the green enchiladas, some avocado sauce, and mandarin jarritos soda!

Awesome food and awesome owners! My favorites are their steak burrito, combination huarache, and shrimp fajitas
