Los Tulipanes

I had the Chicken Fajita Burrito which was very good. There was just the right amount of cheese sauce and seasoning and a proper mix of meat with onion tomato and green pepper. The burrito was accompanied by rice and salad. No beans.
Rico was super nice. Met me as I entered and offered a table promptly, introduced himself and brought my chips and drink right away. He checked on me occasionally without being bothersome and made light conversation. I would highly recommend this restaurant over the buffet next door. (Their sign over the door is currently broken, but I'm sure it will be replaced soon. The dining room is cozy and well decorated.

The food is excellent and not like other mexican restaurants. Sometimes there is a little miscommunication when ordering food unless you speak spanish but still worth it

A college staple, Los Tulipanes will never lead you astray. They have fantastic chips and salsa, and I have yet to find something on the menu that I didn't enjoy.

I'm usually not a fan of Mexican food, and I feel kind of awkward trying to order something that I might like, but this place just seems comfortable. I ordered the pollo con piña and it was very good. It came with broccoli, cauliflower and carrots in a yummy cheese sauce. My husband said his steak was very good as well. The place was very busy on a Friday night, but service was very good.

Great tasting food. I had steak fajitas. Perfect seasoning, awesome service. Best place I have found within 50 miles of where I live for Mexican food. I live in South Dakota and have not found a good Mexican restaurant yet.

I had heard about this place from family and was told of its quality. We got there just in time to miss the supper rush. The food came out in about 10 minutes and was wonderful. I had the chicken, steak, shrimp fajitas and it had the best flavor of any fajitas I could find around this area. My fiancé had the chimichanga and it filled the entire plate and had great flavor. It was very clean inside and the help was wonderful. I can't wait to have an excuse to go back to Sioux Center, we drove from South Dakota. Try this place, you will not be disappointed.

I got the lunch special number 5. It hit the spot and was more food than I should have eaten. They bring out chips and salsa right away too. Good atmosphere.

Food was delicious. Food also came very quickly after ordering. Serving staff are very attentive. Great experience.

Authentic Mexican food.Huge selection of menu items. Large portions. Really friendly bilingual staff. Even my friends from Mexico return here to eat. Not "hot" like TexMex food. Just delicious. The hardest part is narrowing down your choice to one item. I highly recommend them.

Very friendly staff and incredible food. The portions are very large and also very affordable. We were pleasantly surprised with the food and margaritas.

My favorite entres at Los Tulipanes are the beef burrito fajita or shrimp fajitas. They are well seasoned and so delicious. I also enjoy the chips and salsa and white queso sauce! I would highly recommend this restaurant!
