Kyong's Cleaner and Alterations

Everytime I come into Kyong's, I look forward to the owner's friendly faces and courteous service! I've had terrible experiences with dry cleaners, and until I met Kyong's I always worried about taking clothes to dry cleaners to then get destroyed. Their prices are reasonable and I'm always happy with the quality I receive back from them. Plus, they are just a great people. Thanks Kyong's for your continuous great service and friendly faces. You've made a loyal customer!

Very friendly people who always know me when I go in. I have used several dry cleaners in the area over the years and everyone has an issue if you go often enough, but Kyong's has had the fewest. And if there is a problem they will work to resolve it with great attitudes.

Don't go here if you need an alteration done.

When Kyong owned this place some years back, I had great experiences here. However, since the new owners took over I brought multiple pairs of pants in for hemming twice and both times they did a bad job. The first time they completely failed to match the color of the thread on one pair. Then this time, I specifically asked them to do it carefully and despite that they didn't come back looking like they were professionally done. I showed the person working the obvious mistakes when I picked up and they acknowledged them and admitted that the person who did it is "very old," but when I asked for a partial refund they denied my request and said "maybe next time."

Beware of this cleaners. My husband dropped off a suit jacket to be tailored and we actually went to pick up his clothing the week AFTER it was expected to be done. And guess what? His jacket wasn’t ready and also not available until two days later at another location. If you plan to use them for seamstress work, do it well in advance so that you aren’t running into these issues.

Don’t go there! One of my worst local service experiences. I dropped two pairs of shoes to get the soles glued. I had to go back there three times to get my shoes back and only one pair was fixed. First time, shoes were no ready on pick up date indicated. Second time, they had simply given my shoes to another client! They also pretended that I had kept a shoe with me which was wrong - they had it but couldn’t find it since the shop is completely unorganized. They finally were able to get my shoes back but they’re super unprofessional and careless people. They also never keep you posted - you’re the one who have to call. My advice: don’t go there if you want to have your items back!
