Community Pharmacy

This place is so much better than a normal CVS or Walgreens. The pharmacists were super cheerful and it seemed like a nice work environment, lots of jokes. I came in 5 minutes after my doctor ordered medicine, and it was clear I was in a rush, but they didn't seem to mind and they got it done incredibly quickly. Also, I was going to pay out of pocket, and the person at the checkout recommended I use coupons, which saved me a lot of money. Thanks :)

Had a great experience with needing a last minute prescription filled. I called and they said they could have it in 4 hours, I asked if there was any chance it could be ready earlier and it was ready 15 mins later... such a great experience. Spencer was especially helpful!

I'd give them 10 stars if I could.... Walgreens 14th St. is all that a pharmacy should be - professional, personal, competent, and caring. From Bio-Script to Community now to Walgreens - the team led by Heather Free and Kendra Frassetto have been true partners with my physician and me in my health care for over nearly eight years. You're not just a customer, you're a person, a patient, an individual. I am constantly blown away by the "small town" personal service I receive each and every time I call or stop in - certainly not what I expected in the middle of downtown Washington, DC. I know I'm not unique in my experience. I could shop around or go the mail order route - no thank you. I am loyal to the incredible staff at Walgreens 14th Street. They are a true asset to the neighborhood, the broader community and Walgreens. Thank you all.

Was very clean, quick and easy. I walked past the location the first time cause I was looking for an actual Walgreens. But this location is just a pharmacy.

I hate hate hate waiting in line at CVS especially when someone would checkout other items at the pharmacy counter. I never had to wait in line here. Just walk in and walk right back out.

So, so, so much better than the Walgreens at 13th and U. Go here.

As another reviewer said, this is just a pharmacy, not a convince store. However, as a pharmacy, the service and staff are unparalleled in DC. 10/10, would refill again.

Convenient location

I've come to this Walgreens on and off for about 3 years now, ever since I've had my baby.

The service is good enough, but on more than one occasion there was a line that didn't seem to move, and to make things worse, I was stuck in those lines. I guess everyone has off days, yet it is a hell of a coincidence that I have seen this occurrence more than a few times.

However, this Walgreens, is never out of stock for the vitamins/medicines I need for my family, and they have never given me problems with prescriptions from my doctor, like I know some pharmacies do.
