This theater is nice, it's small but that's what makes it so good it's not crowded. I saw two movies here already and I'm going to see a third and fourth. The concessions stand is high priced though, but; it's the movies.

A wonderful place! Almost every seat is a good one since the theaters are relatively small. Great drinks and concessions. Better than E Street!

Reserve your seats in advance and enjoy a drink at the bar before entering. Small theaters but they’re all good seats. It’s a great option downtown. A short walk to all the action on U Street.

I love to see movies here! Small theaters, comfortable seats, easy to get to, and the staff is very nice and helpful.

Went to see ant man 3 here and the experience was incredible! Staff was nice, the atmosphere was cozy, they had tea at the snack bar and it was a great experience overall. But if I had to complain about one thing, it’s that the seats are really squeaky which was a bit annoying but by all means it’s not a dealbreaker.

I really love this theater. The theater sizes are small, maybe 100 seats, so every movie feels big, but you don't feel small. The audio and visual qualities of the movies are as good as any other theater I've been to, but I've never felt like the sound was TOO loud (looking at you Gallery Place) The popcorn is great. The people who work there are nice. There is a bar and you can bring your drinks into the movie with you. My favorite place to see a movie.

I absolutely love this theater. All screens have only 48 seats! There's never a bad seat. Plus the cocktails are great ☺. But above all the staff is always kind and helpful. The people who work here are the best!

This is absolutely my favorite theater. So happy to see they were able to make it through the pandemic. Being able to return and do one of my favorite things has been such a joy. The staff here is also amazing. In particular, the concession attendant with the fabulous style, fresh nails, and upbeat personality. Love them.

Small theaters but that was really nice. We went to see John Wick 4 and the other people on our row and we were making funny comments during some of it. Made it a great time.

Very clean, modern, updated and diverse movie selections. Within walking distance in my neighborhood which is a plus, and convenient if you want to catch a movie, dinner, drinks and dance the night away with your significant other or friends while visiting the U.ST area. Best time for me to go is during the weekdays to catch a matinee, or if you simply want to miss the crowds. Weekends and nights are too fun because of the energetic and lively atmosphere near the theater. Always clean and courteous staff to assist. Bar offers good selection of spirits, beers, cocktails but can get backed up if crowded. Small bites/appetizers to snack on before and during the movie, best of all you can take your items in to the movie as well. I love that you can reserve your seats well in advance, and there are several movie/screening rooms, all with plenty of leg and arm room. If I had once issue it would be that the seats do not recline, bummer :( but it's still worth it.

Great addition to the neighborhood! I love how you can purchase your tickets online and select what seat you want. Seating is better than a regular theater in that the chairs are nicer and bigger, you have more leg room, and there are less seats in general. There's also a bar, so you have the option of getting there early if you want a few drinks (though the bar may not be open if you're there for a matinee). After showing your ticket (you can print it out or just show your phone), you'll be casually escorted to your theater if it's not super busy. The screens aren't super large, but since the theaters aren't accommodating for row, upon row, upon row, they don't need to be. Staff is generally enthusiastic, which I've also noticed at the E Street location too. When the bar area is busy and the theater area is busy, it gets a little too cheek to jowl, but a small price to pay for a theater in the neighborhood. Having said that, it does seem like the front area should be reappraised and potentially redesigned as the flow of it can cause congestion. Should be interesting when Filmfest DC rolls around.

I've been to this theater just once (it's pretty new), and loved it. I've always liked this building from afar, but ultimately this provides a great movie experience right in the city. The seats are comfortable and I like that you reserve your exact seat so you don't have to worry about snagging seats together. It's clean and provides a nice boutique experience. The theaters are small, so I'm sure they sell out - and there are only a few movie options, but they were all good ones. They show the previews/trailers on screens in the bar/lounge, along with a countdown timer to when you can get seated in your theater. Having a bar/lounge, as well as bar concessions, is genius - and drinks were not marked up much higher than you would otherwise expect to see them in the city.

Great theatre! Atmosphere in the lobby is fun and modern, including the bar. Staff are friendly and helpful and movie selection is always current. Theatre seats are comfy and sound/picture are always spot on. Just the right number of previews too (some theaters have too many). This is my theater home!

Intimate and fun movie theatre! I love that I can bring in a tasty cocktail or glass of wine into the actual screening room. The seats are very comfortable and recline. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a seemingly nice restaurant/lounge attached to the theatre with a retractable wall but I didn’t have a chance to Check it out.

Great theater, nice seats, nice drinks, good popcorn. What else could you want? Even the staff is nice.

The small size of the theaters here is great! The chairs are super comfy, though I wish they reclined a bit more. The only downside is that the back row is a bit bright--there are lights on the floor outlining the space for wheelchairs, but they are very distracting while trying to watch a movie. We were able to move forward a row because the theater wasn't full, but this might not always be possible.

Great theater! Smaller audience sizes compared to larger cineplexes, but I really enjoy that about this place. Amazing picture and sound quality. There is technically assigned seating, but this has only been an issue when seeing a big movie last minute. Normal concessions including alcohol and more upscale snack options too.

This is a super nice theater. One of my favorites in the area. It has a nice bar with a good variety of drinks to choose from. The theater rooms are nice and spacious. No matter where you sit, it’s not as bad as the bigger theaters. I highly recommend visiting.
