Hampton Inn Washington-Downtown-Convention Center

We would absolutely book another stay with this hotel! The staff being the biggest reason. HUGE shout out to D'Angelo (the valet) and Thomas (evening bartender). They made the stay memorable.. Thank You!! The rooms were pretty standard, and yes the lobby had some construction (but we knew that when we booked ahead). The location is perfect walking distance to everything.

This place is about a mile from Union Station. Not a bad walk to the hotel. However, on the way back, the walk is on an upgrade. I didn't struggle, but it might be more challenging for some. I would suggest allowing more time if you are walking back to union Station.
This hotel is a couple of blocks to the convention center.

This Hampton inn has a bar in it that is open in the evenings. There are restaurants that you can walk to.

The staff were wonderful. From the front desk to the maids, everyone went out of their way to assist you.

The did check my bag on my arrival day so that I could get to an early meeting without my suitcase. This is a great service! Thank you!

I’ve visited this location a few times. The staff is very nice. The valet is quick and friendly. The rooms are clean. I have a favorite room that works perfect for me. I like the location because you can walk to almost anywhere.

Sept 23. Just spent 7 nights on vacation. Had adjoining rooms. Great location. 18 minute walk to the National mall. Excellent restaurants very close by. 15 minutes from Reagan Airport.
( optimal time). Room was very clean. Quiet. Well appointed. Everything worked. Refrigerator would keep beer very cold. Staff was top notch. Breakfast was good with a rotating items. Price was reasonable for DC.
Would highly recommend.

I was desperate to find a hotel this past weekend of the World Culture Fair and had to settle for a room at the Hampton Inn. From the outside looking in, I expected a small and dirty room with poor service. I was happily surprised when I found that the room I paid for, the cheapest one available, was not only extremely clean, but also very large! Additionally, the staff in the lobby were extremely helpful and kind. This particular Saturday night there was a Boxing match (Conelo Vs. Charlo) and the bar was hosting a small watchparty. The bartender, Thomas, was delightful, hilarious, and extremely good at his job. The atmosphere was amazing and I will only stay at this hotel the next time I come to D.C..

This hotel is amazing!! It’s definitely worth the money. Bed is very cozy. Only like two blocks from the metro. Capital one arena is very close. Very large tv. Shower was perfect. They hold ur bags so u can go and enjoy the sites. Breakfast was perfect exactly what I expect from Hampton. Plan to keep coming back.

Conveniently located near the Capital One arena as well as all the restaurants, bars, and other night life afforded to visitors.

Be prepared for valet only parking on a busy street! You won't have access to walk to your car for something you forgot.

Great staff, great location, great service and great room. My room was on the top floor where everything was clean, roomy and comfortable. I drove right up to the valet and the took me in. Don’t bother using the Hilton app because you’ll need a room key to make the elevator work. Convenient to all the great attractions in Washington DC. I will stay there again. I loved staying here! We visited for an anime convention and we couldn’t enjoy our stay more. The hotel felt safe and clean. The breakfast options were delicious and different every day. Our room got updated to a suit and we had outlets throughout the whole room; this felt like heaven. Can’t wait to be back!

I got back to the hotel lobby after a run and as the elevator door was closing a hand suddenly appeared holding a bottle of water. Mike is a very kind person and this hotel is lucky to have him. I don’t think Mike knows how special that was for me - I hope he knows his kindness is what this world needs more of. If you’re reading this, do a random act of kindness for a stranger. Great location. Great breakfast bar. Lots of good restaurants in the neighborhood. Our room was clean and comfortable

Great location, two blocks from the metro and surrounded by a hundred restaurants. Ultra clean. Staff was VERY friendly. Mike at the front desk was great at check in. All staff members were friendly and helpful. The complimentary hot breakfast was great. One of the better Hampton breakfasts I’ve had. I was there three days and everyday had a different breakfast meat, fried potatos and eggs. The breakfast attendant Maya went out of her way to greet each guest. This is definitely a great property and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Newly renovated rooms. Great location quick walk to Capital One Arena. Staff was friendly and professional. Definitely will stay here again.

From the very first time that we walked into the lobby, the staff went out of their way to help and made our stay comfortable. John at the front desk made sure that we had everything that we needed. A special thanks to Christoph and Charnita for making that fresh pot of coffee at 4:30 am when I came down to the lobby bleary-eyed and looking for some due to an early flight checkout. Everyone was friendly and helpful and made our stay special. We'll definitely be back!

Not the newest building, but kept up really well. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Not the friendliest employees, but good service. Restaurants and pharmacies are close and in a safe neighborhood.

We stayed for the AwesomeCon weekend and location was great. Amenities was pretty on par. What stood out was the friendliness, professionalism and helpfulness of the staff from Saturday mid morning until Sunday late afternoon. Everyone in every role went beyond to meet our needs. The parking guys were great. I left there thinking we will definitely be back because great customer service makes a good stay great!

We got to DC in the morning and we were able to check-in at 9:30am. We got time to relax before exploring the beautiful city. We had a good time here. The service was great, the location is good and their rooms were clean. They would clean everyday of our stay. Highly recommend this hotel, you get value for your money. Definately coming back.

Nice budget hotel. What you would expect from a Hampton Inn. Clean and convenient. Friendly staff. Comfy bed and big rooms. About 20-30mins walk from the National Mall.

Well I requested a double and got a king. Luckily I was with My mom. Requested it 2 months in advance. Otherwise, staff was exceptional... every single one.

Good location. A lot of sights nearby. The hotel provides paid parking. There is also another parking lot nearby $60 per day. Clean, pleasant room. The room has a refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, board, iron, hairdryer, safe. On the ground floor, you can always make yourself tea or coffee. Breakfast is included. A good choice of food, delicious.
