Greater New Hope Baptist Church

I first attended Greater New Hope Baptist Church in 1955 or 1956. I believe the pastor at that time was Pastor Hamilton. I'm related to him on my mother's side of the family. I was 5 or 6 years old. There was this huge pipe organ at the back of the church over the doors of the chaple. By the pictures the large brass domes on the steeple are no longer there. If anyone remembers Nannie Fredie Simmons my grandmother and Beatrice Howard my aunt, I would like for you to contact me. Thank you Drianiel Williams Farris

Membership for more than 50 years. Bishop has served for more than 30 years. In person services are spiritually uplifting.

I have received so many blessings from this congregation. They are exceptionally pleasant, and loving towards families. I’m a single mom of five , and I must say without doubt they truly uplift me.

This is a spirit filled church without theatrics. The people are sincere and honest. There is nothing clichè about serving God. This is all due to the God led direction of Bishop Melvin G. Brown.

I was a member, until I had move out of town , I learned a lot from pastor Brown may God continue to bless the Greater New Hope family 🙏

Glad to see a black lives matter sign posted on the church. That way, true christians can immediately know not to go here, as this is not a Christian church... BLM is an anti Christian, anti family, Marxist organization.
