This was the perfect place to stay for a Girls Weekend! Six friends and I stayed at the Corn Crib while visiting the local wineries. Barb was very accommodating and welcoming. The cabin is just the perfect size for us to stay and hang out together, with enough space to get a good night's rest. We highly recommend the Corn Crib!

This little B&B is a great find! Clean and very well managed. If you happen to be passing through Indianola Iowa check for availability. The atmosphere is well suited for a relaxing stay. I'd give them 6 stars if I could!

We stayed at the Corn Crib the night before my daughter's wedding. It was the perfect place to stay! We were able to have the wedding party and some family hang out around the fire pit, and have a relaxing evening before the big day. It also worked perfectly as our place to get the bride and her bridesmaids ready, the day of the wedding. And the country setting was perfect for getting some pictures before the ceremony. It was very clean and comfortable, and the refrigerator was stocked with food. I had also booked a second night for the bride and groom to stay after the wedding, before they flew out for their honeymoon. I'm hoping to go back sometime soon, just to relax in the country.

Very friendly owner. Barb makes you feel at home right away. Saw some wildlife, enjoyed a fire and felt very comfortable and "at home" here. Close to Des Moines, but far enough away to feel "country".

The Corn Crib is a great little get away where you can feel secluded but also be a 5 min drive from a grocery. When covid spoiled our international honeymoon travel plans we decided to try and find a nice place to still get out of town. We bought several days of groceries and cooked/grilled meals every night. The kitchen was surprisingly well stocked and the one utensil we needed we texted Barb and she brought one over from her on site house. The provided continental breakfast with coffee, cereal, juice and homemade peach jam were a pleasant surprise. We will definitely be staying again.

We had a meeting there and it worked perfectly. It is so convenient, but private. I was impressed with how clean and comfortable it was. The combination of rustic ambiance and modern conveniences is very well thought out. I highly recommend this as a B & B!

A little pricey but worth it. Outside spaces including a fire pit. Nice host. I wish it had a pool. You need one in a hot Iowa summer.

Fantastic little B&B. We were in the area for a wedding and this suited us very well as a location to stay for a couple nights. It is run by a wonderful couple and was very comfortable.
