Regal Gallery Place

I’m a movie guy so when I was in DC and saw there was a Regal I had to go see a couple shows. Overall it’s a grand theater in the middle of Chinatown. There’s a metro right on the corner so easy access from anywhere in the city. They are obviously post-covid operating as the tickets are sold at the concession stand.

I bought my tickets online so I was able to skip the line for one of the movies. However, I did want to get snacks for a different show and I was inline behind everyone buying tickets. Thankfully someone opened a second line and I was able to pop right over. The seats were a little worn, but still comfortable. They were reclining seats which I really enjoy.

Overall a nice theater and a total recommendation if you’re a movie buff like me.

For me to go to the movies when I’m out of town is very unlikely, there was a reason. My boyfriend had to see the Bob Marley movie and it was phenomenal. This theater was clean and the staff was very helpful.

One of the nicest staffs at a movie theater I’ve been to in the DMV. I had a few questions before seeing Dune Two and ran into an employee, Hally who answered my questions quickly and accurately. Along with the kind staff I enjoyed the atmosphere. Conveniently located near a metro stop this movie theater is quickly accessible. I look forward to my next visit.

Always had great experiences here. Just make sure you know which theatre you’re booking. We keep accidentally doing the 4d and it is rough. But still fun. The regular theaters are awesome with really comfy recliner chairs.

Top Tier Theater. Delicious, popcorn. It's different from other theaters, as they mix some type of chocolate/ caramel pellets throughout the popcorn, no extra charge. Plus, it's kids and animal friendly. They have many circus mice and extra large rodents to feed and pet.

My favorite go-to movie theater. Kevin the manager is the coolest manager I've met there. Popcorn is always Poppin. The staff are cool and informative about movies. I'm a regular there. Thanks for hiring cool ppl, Regal. Kevin deserves to know he is appreciated. I even bought a popcorn bucket and a drink because he sold me so well on the purchase of both. Thanks. I use it everywhere I go. Above and beyond great customer service.

Really good movie theater in Washington DC. Very comfortable chairs, recline really good. Clean space, good picture screan good sound. Only detail was some people were very disturbing during the movie session and talking loud, being disrespectful to people and had cell phones flash light on. One man got up and talked to them asking them to respect other people etc. The management should be watching for these problems. Other that that all was good!!

Great experience!! First time ever going to a 4D movie and it was amazing! The movie was awesome(Quiet Place 2) but it wasn't the best choice for 4D. It didn't have rain, fog, or thunder. So I didn't get wet or anything. I loved it though, the chairs moved and blew air from behind me. It scared me a bit. Just choose a movie wisely😁like one with rain and thunder that you can see in trailer☺

Yo yo I want to give a s/o to the staff at this movie theater, I walked in was instantly greeted w/ an smile and good vibes from the young lady behind the counter Tatiana, Kevin, and the guy with the unique hair and name was happy to assist me and my wife tonight , I would definitely recommend this location for my family and friends to come .. thank you guys for the amazing movie & customer service!!!!!!

One of the best place to enjoy or spend long time in Washington DC. The location is so perfect that you can get metro in a walking distance. You can have any international restaurant's around even if the area called Chinatown. The street shown make the area more interesting. The cinema hall is so many and wide even the chairs are flexible and can be a bed. It like sitting on the business class flight chair. Good light systems and sound system. They allowed me to take cooked food and drinks from there cafe. And the price is fair.

Visited this theater last week and left a cell phone behind. Staff were able to collect it and return it while ensuring we were the rightful owners. Incredible customer service.

Interesting theater set up. Came here to watch I think it was called a Mystery in Venice. We showed up late, but the actual film started like 20 minutes after the start time, so I’m thankful for that!

Clean bathrooms, recliner seats with a little bit of wear and tear but still comfortable and clean theatres, and they validate up to 3 hours of parking if you park in the Gallery Place Garage! Extremely friendly staff. This is our go to movie spot.

Very nice and clean theater. I enjoyed the reclining seats and the sound quality of the movies. The bathrooms are also fairly clean This theatre is also very large with reasonable priced tickets.

My friends and I were the only people so the service was good but the food was alright

My experience is always a nice one. The workers are kind and work as efficiently as they can. They need more staff immediately. The last few times I visited, they have been short. It's way too busy to only have 3 registers open. It's not the workers fault which is why I wouldn't give a low rating. I love this location!

Good Theater and Seats are comfortable with a recliner and they Sell Beers as well.

Ok. This was my first 4D Experience. I will have to say the water was a bit of a shock...no a big shock when the movie started. I loved that the seats not only move, but you can feel the impact of some of the actions on the screen as well. The theater was somewhat crowded but not annoyingly so. We saw the movie woman king. LOVED IT! The 4D added an element of fun. But I had to turn the water feature off. I have sensory issues that make being wet even a little uncomfortable. But I would love to try it again for another movie. Or maybe even the same movie.

The movie theater was clean and the staff was professional and polite.
