USO Midway

The word lovely comes to mind. The volunteers were extremely kind and made the place feel very welcoming and warm. They took an interest in everyone and even had home baked cookies. It's not the largest lounge or the fanciest, but it's probably been my favorite.

My first time in the USO at midway and friendly atmosphere! I can rest until my next flight ✈

On the smaller side but the volunteer staff is awesome, and there is nothing like a quiet place to relax when traveling

Extremely kind volunteers that made you feel right at home. They made sure that no one left without a drink and snack to-go, and the food/beverage selection was great (including a homemade hot meal) and was always well stocked. One volunteer said she had been there for 19 years, so you know they genuinely care. Thank you so much and we will definitely be back the next time we are flying though Midway!

How can you not love the USO? Great respite for Servicemembers, retirees, and family. The Midway location has a bunch of coins and patches which are always fun to check out.

Good place to relax before my Flight to Omaha, Nebraska this USO has nice sofa, big Flat screen TV, computers with internet and nice rep to greet you at the desk.

A very nice USO that takes care of it's service members, veterans and families. Limited evening hours but very hospitable and stocked. Best part it's in the quiet area of the airport near the CPD office.

Tiny, but met all my needs and it's well stocked with food! Saw multiple families pass through during my few hours there. Even saw two Vietnam vets connect and talk for quite awhile. The volunteers are amazing people, as well!

It's a special place just for us, be sure to treat it as such. Also, bring some cash for the donation box.

Oh my goodness this place made a 7 hour delay bearable. Thank you to all the volunteers who work. I was able to get some food and take a nap. I wish I had my kids with me, they had so many snacks! They don't mind if you just grab a water and a snack if you're in a hurry.

I really appreciate the volunteers who run and support the USOs. This was a calm place to wait for my layover. Thank you!

So far; the best USO I've been in. (Yes they actually have a stocked variety of edibles-unlike most USOs)

I always come here when flying through Midway. The volunteers are amazing and they provide a nice calm atmosphere. If you've got a long layover and are military, definitely check them out. You must show your CAC card or dependant military I.D.

Great little place for military and military families to relax when traveling through the area with time at Chicago Midway. Wonderful staff and atmosphere, even if it is one of the smaller USOs we've been to. We are so thankful!

This USO is cozy and quiet. A nice mixture of snacks and drinks to get you by if you don’t want to pay the outrageous airport prices. Plenty of outlets. A movie section and computer section. A lot of stuff packed in a tiny corner of the airport. Volunteers are very kind.

The staff is wonderful. They provide more than snacks & a place to relax while waiting for your flight. They don't know it, but they are angels to those who may be having a terrible time in transit. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOA ALL YOU DO!

Never a long wait to get through TSA. Favorite airport in that aspect.

The USO is great for traveling vets and service members. I had a 3 hour layover and it was not only nice to relax in a comfortable atmosphere but they had some great snacks too. The volunteers who work here are all amazing people. I am so appreciative and thankful for this service.

Very friendly staff, great snacks and coffee. Even had a good selection of frozen breakfast sandwiches u can nuke. Small but worth a visit for sure! Thank you for the hospitality.

I felt so privileged to have been traveling with my dad, a true "superhero"...( to me of course cause he's my dad)...but for being an air force veteran. It was an excellent place to wait until our flight took off !
