Franklin Park

I attended a Meetup social called Art in the Park and brought my painting supplies and easel. The sun was strong on this moderately cold day and the sounds of the water fountain were soothing. A picture perfect day for creating with new friends. While I miss the large trees and ancient architecture of the old park, I do enjoy its pristine pathways and more raised land. The old park seemed to dip a little deeper and was more of a climb to get back to street level. There's a designated area for kids to enjoy and a state of the art restrooms. I always enjoy the free music festivals in the summer and partaking in the Art in the Park in the fall was a spectacular time.

Great, safe park near city center D.C. to eat lunch outside when at the office or catch some greenery for sore eyes that have been looking at the screen too long. Park staff keeps it very clean. There are tables & chairs, benches, & other places to sit.

Really enjoyed chilling in this park during sunset. Super clean and well maintained. Feels like a mini escape in the middle of the city.

Calm and relaxing park surrounded by nice museums, restaurants and coffee shops.

Great outdoor space. Very kids friendly. There are some tables that locals use to eat or just take in the sun. Plenty of other seating area. Landscape is very nice.

A very nice and well-kept park. Went there for juneteenth celebration. They had a very enjoyable event going.

Amazing time of fellowship and sharing God’s Word at a public park

I loved everything about it! We were greeted & welcomed by the hospitality staff. The park was clean and aesthetically pleasing! I can't wait to go back for the Saturday concerts!

Fun little park with plenty of place to sit and a little playground for kids.

What a beautiful park to walk to after eating at Five Guys to walk off the heaping pile of French fry’s they give you! It was beautifully lit up!

They redid this park recently and it now looks GREAT. The only downside is there is no shade so on a hot sunny August day it's very hot - though there were chairs with umbrellas for some shade.

Beautiful small park! Lovely vibe and scenery

I got to see the park before the reno, during the reno, and after. The park has come alive once more. There is new landscaping, a fountain, a play area, and a soon to be restaurant. There is a crew cleaning up daily throughout the park, and activities scheduled weekly: such as meditation, qi gong, and yoga. There's even a holiday wreath making event. I like spending my lunch here.

Looking for a fun slide, big enough to ride with your kid?! This is your spot! Also so many places to put a blanket down and chill. Lots of benches and places to sit. Really like this place, but my toddler’s fav spot is the slide, hands down. I also went down lol and it was really fun haha!!!

This Park is so spacious and peaceful. It's a great environment to be in your own space, but still in the mix of other people.

Plus, there are always different events being hosted here too, especially with summer coming up. I love Franklin Park!!!

The Park was clean, well landscaped, plenty of seating and free of the homeless population that used 2 inhabit it. The new benches, trash receptacles, and landscaping make it a pleasant place to chat, have a work meeting, and eat lunch. Well done!
