I purchased replacement windows for my entire house several years ago and to make a long story short dealt with glass failures multiple times over a number of years. Even though the contract I signed guaranteed free replacement and/or repair (to include materials & labor) to address any issues, the company decided that they were no longer going to honor our contract. I fought for a good 4-6 months trying to get them to do the right thing. Finally, I contacted the Better Business Bureau (BBB) seeking help. The BBB has in place a methodical process, acting as an arbitrator, to try and help both the business and consumer come of a fair resolution. In my particular case, the BBB persuaded the company to honor the contract and the necessary repairs were completed. My special thanks go out to David Dennis and Angela Obitz from the BBB of Metro Washington DC & Eastern Pennsylvania. Both individuals were very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. I corresponded frequently with Angela and she was a dream to work with. The BBB really did come through for me when I had all but given up hope.

BBB was a life saver .We had a company do some work at our house .The company said they did not do construction site clean .My insurance company showed a bill which they were paid for “ Construction Site Clean Up “. I reached out to the PM and her boss slow response .BBB reached out to the company using the pictures I provided.The company responded saying they had did the clean before which was a lie. In the end the company came out and clean the worksite the correct way .I will never use or recommend that company to anyone .I will continue to use and support BBB. BBB thank you for being a game changer .

Derrick Hydleburg was the representative who provided me with all the information I needed. He first contacted me by phone, I was unable to speak by phone. From his message details, I was able to email him and have questions answered. My first opportunity to speak to him later by phone was informative. Finally, my next opportunity to complete my business with him happened to be after hours for him. He called me back after hours, completed my business, and still called me back a few minutes later to confirm.

I want to say thank you to BBB as I had. Horrible time getting resolution with a complaint , I filed my complaint and the BBB took action . I was able to get my refund and proper resolution . Thanks again BBB

I was being reported late to Navy Federal. We were unable to reach a compromise so I reported them to the BBB. It was removed I would highly recommend the BBB. Without there help I would have not been able to resolve this matter. We were able to develop rapport and have open dialogue.

BBB always comes correct. They should take notice of the local gun stores being complained about and leaving reviews of experiencing racism. Two places I’ve experienced racism at is ‘HALL PRECISION AND GUNSMITH’ IN FREDRICKBURG VA AND ‘ALL SHOOTERS’ IN WOODBRIDGE VA

Call this business before any decisions to create or check other established businesses for fraud. Very exceptional services through external verification. A MUST!!! RELIABLE...

Filed a complaint on with dealership about changing me diff fluid and replacing the oil with dirty engine oil causing damage to my rear axle. Thanks to BBB everything got resolved.

Great Business. They keep up with businesses and scams. Please report any scams to the Bureau, they actually follow up and investigate!
