Kintsugi

This place was so nice, so well designed and laid out. It's a great place to study and get some work done.. It's pretty quiet, they have WiFi and soft music playing. They have these giant windows that open so that you are basically outside. I had matcha tea latte and a ham and cheese croissant. They were both really good, the croissant was very small though.

This is a new cafe located downstairs in a boutique hotel. My boyfriend stubble upon when looking for coffee shops to try. We went early in the morning and had the place you ourselves--it seems it hasn't been widely discovered just yet! They have great seating options and lovely decide. They also play just the right kind if musing for relaxing and studying if you want to be almost right downtown. The staff were superb! Coffee and the baked goods are incredible, especially the croissant monkey bread!

Trendy cafe that seems to be connected to the Eaton hotel. The drinks are reasonably priced, especially for the area. The cafe has a lot seating which makes me think it would be a great place to work remotely once COVID has passed.

I enjoyed a well-made matcha soy latte and an apple turnover. The barista said they make their baked goods typically, but with COVID they've opted to get them from a local bakery instead. I'd love to know which one because the turnover was very good!

This is probably one of my favorite cafes in DC! The ambiance and décor are nice, the drinks are great, and the service is friendly.

TRENDY. This place was the definition of trendy. Item must try- ICED MATCHA LATTE The menu does not explicitly say that everything can be served hot or cold-but they can. Their matcha drink is way better than the matcha flavor Starbucks makes. Its $6 but well worth it.

The coffee , the decor and service are excellent. The decor of the cafe blends well with that of the Eaton hotel which it’s attached to. It has a somewhat 70’s feel that’s warm and inviting. Great spot to chat with friends or have business beverages. Most importantly, the coffee is superb. I am a black coffee drinker and my partner will have a cappuccino, latte or other milky things depending on her mood. Those drinks were well balanced and the flavor of the beans worked well with milk. The drip coffee was so flavorful with discernible notes of caramel and dried fruit. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my experience here! The ambiance is amazing and is the perfect spot to study and get some work done. I ordered an oat milk iced latte and it was pretty good! The barista was very friendly and I even received a 20% off coupon after my first visit.

I just wish they were open on weekends!!

Excellent service, good food. The monkey bread was delicious. One of the few places in the area where you can sit down and get some work done.

The two baristas were great! Ebony made the best London fog. It was so good I got a second one. I love how I don't feel like cattle being rushed through my order but that they mindfully craft my drink as if it were their own.

I finally made it to kintsugi coffee shop after hearing all about it, located on the corner of Eaton Hotel.

First impression this place looks aesthetically pleasing! I was welcomed warmly by the sharply dressed manager Francesco.

I had the Matcha latte with oat milk as the barista had recommended to me and it was a little pricey but worth it.

I highly recommend this place!

Love the atmosphere here, not a lot of space for a party bigger than two, but plenty of outlets for studying and a cool relaxing vibe. Definitely would recommend, especially on a nice day when they open up the shop to the street

Kintsugi Cafe is a very trendy spot near center city DC. It's proximity to other restaurants and shopping destinations makes it an ideal place to stop for coffee/tea, but you also retain a certain coziness. I could definitely sit here for a couple of hours and get some work done.

Wifi was good. Ambience was good. Did not have any problems with the coffee like other reviewers. Going for a second time tomorrow. Also some good seating in the hotel lobby.

I love their vanilla & caramel almond milk lattes.... a month after posting my original review I have good news... please try their tumeric latte... I get mine with almond milk... deelish!!!

The tall guy in the morning is really polite and always takes his time and makes my coffee right.
