Oxbow Beer Garden

We ordered a couple beers and a cheese pizza and sat at the bar. The pizza was one of the best we've ever had. Dan, I think his name was, is awesome. So knowledgeable about all the beers, how they are made etc. Super guy. The interior is super cool, simple and rustic decor. Tons of outside tables so I'm sure its great in the summer. You can buy bundles of wood and hang around a fire too. Great place!

We held our rehearsal dinner at the Oxbow Beer Garden and everything was absolutely spectacular. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, with magical string lights and beautiful arrangements of pumpkins and florals. Even on a rainy and cold autumn evening, the space heaters and warm apple cider kept everyone comfortable and content. The staff, servers, and bartenders were kind, courteous, and professional, and Rebecca and her team were extremely helpful throughout the planning process. And the food was wonderful as well—the pizza was delicious and the kale salad delectable (our guests are still talking about it). We couldn’t have dreamed of a better rehearsal venue and are grateful to have teamed up with Oxbow for this special occasion.

Food was fantastic. The best pizza I’ve had in a while. The mushroom pizza was particularly good. The beer is unique too; it’s worth branching out.

Went on a Friday and it wasn’t too packed. Place is spread out and has a cool atmosphere.

Wish there was one closer to Boston.

Amazing cool place with awesome beer. It has really been built out recently with new kitchen, wood fired pizza oven, stage, and lots of covered and incoherent sitting areas. Friendly staff, super cool farm to wander around

This spot is off the charts good. Quaint atmosphere, perfect wood-fired pizzas, complex beers, and just a few minutes from our campground. I feel lucky to have stumbled upon this place. If you’re debating what to do today, just go. It won’t disappoint. Also, they love dogs here so bring them with you on a nice day. Thanks for a superb evening and for the milkbone, Oxbow! ❤🐾

Such a cute restaurant/brewery. I really loved the atmosphere and the vibe at this place. All the people (customers and employees) were super nice and friendly and they had a lot of options for beer. The bartender was great and gave us samples until we found one we particularly liked. Ended up with the field beer and the saison aquatic - both very good. For food, we got the mushroom calzone and the donuts! Very pleased with the donuts and would highly recommend them. The calzone was good, but somewhat small compared to what we had seen another table get. In addition, I think adding sausage like they had recommended would’ve made it a good combination. Overall, pretty good experience!

We loved the Oxbow beer garden as customers before choosing it as our wedding venue, and the staff's flexibility and personableness ultimately helped us decide to get married there.

Throughout the process, working with Rebecca was a dream – she was always available to answer questions, especially as our vision was different than what other couples had done there in the past. She worked with us and our vendors every step of the way, and on the day of, everything came together exactly as we'd envisioned. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive and organized, and multiple guests commented on how great they were throughout the night. The food was amazing, the bars and buffets never had long lines, and the entire day went off without a hitch, despite some unexpected rain storms that the staff handled swiftly and professionally.

I can't say enough good things about the team here and their dedication to making our wedding dreams come true. Thank you to Rebecca and all the Oxbow staff!

Oxbow was so great to work with in planning and hosting our fall wedding reception. Rebecca was always responsive and a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. Oxbow was able to bring my vision to life on our reception day and I couldn't have been more impressed with their staff. Everything ran so smoothly and seamlessly. The drinks, apps and pizza were all delicious. We truly had our dream reception at Oxbow - it's the perfect venue for the non-traditional couple. We love that the Beer Garden is a place we can always return to and remember such an amazing night. Thank you Oxbow!

We recently held our Welcome Dinner for our daughter's wedding at Oxbow Beer Garden and couldn't have been happier with the event, staff, food, etc! Everything was perfection. We set this up without first visiting the site, and were thrilled with the setting - the outdoor deck is very large and comfortably accommodated our entire guest list. The grounds surrounding the deck are lovely, clean, and lively. The food was fantastic and the staff executed flawlessly. I highly recommend holding your event here - and eating here when visiting the area!

We had our wedding at Oxbow Beer Garden in July 2023. We could not have asked for a better experience and staff. Our planner, Rebecca, was very organized and worked hard to make the day as smooth as possible. They accommodated food requests that they had never done before (a tinned fish board!) and they were excited to do so. They worked in tandem with our vendors and just generally made the day great. We lucked out with the weather, but I’ve heard that even with rain people have had great experiences.

It is a gorgeous venue with great staff and great food/drinks. It was also very reasonably priced with the cost of the venue, catering, staff, seating, and flowers all included. Definitely get married here!

We hosted our small wedding (ceremony and reception) at the Oxbow Beer Garden in Oxford in August 2021. Rebecca was so easy to work with and very flexible and the process was just so smooth and low-stress despite being during a pandemic (and we live out of state so only visited once during the process, the rest of our planning was done over phone/email) . Of course, the beer was excellent and the pizza is just so great. We were all also so pleasantly surprised by the pita and hummus that was part of our appetizers. I would highly recommend visiting just to enjoy a beer on the beautiful property or planning an outdoor event with Rebecca and her team! We have already been back since the wedding and hope to get up to the property to snowshoe over the winter!

This place was great. Pizza with spicy sausage was so good, beers were tasty, service was friendly. We sat inside at the bar and the bartender was super friendly.

The staff at Oxbow are genuinely happy to be doing what they’re doing. They’re proud of their venue, their food, their beer, and their atmosphere – and they do everything they can to make sure you’re having as great of a time as they are.

Oxbow was the first and only venue we looked at for our wedding, and we couldn’t have imagined a better location. Guests appreciated the great food and drink (and that the bar had more than beer!) and we loved the vibe of the beer garden.

When we got engaged, Oxbow was the first place that jumped to mind as our venue because we loved the idea of getting married somewhere we already loved spending time at. It also seemed like the perfect place for a wedding that we didn't want to feel too fussy but didn't comprise on a stylish ambiance or great food. Our past interactions with the staff at Oxbow also made us feel like we'd be in good hands -- and that couldn't have been more true for our event this past October. Rebecca and her team were so friendly, communicative and thoughtful; they took most of the the stress out of planning our event, even when we realized that it was going to rain in the days leading up to our wedding. Before we even reached out, they had ideas for how to adjust our plans for the weather, prepped the venue to combat any mud, and in the end, the weather didn't put a damper on the celebration at all. For a venue that we partially chose for its outdoor space, it's a real testament to Oxbow that we still had such a great time in the drizzle, especially under the big pavilion that we lit up with lights and candles, and inside the cozy, rustic restaurant. (Our guests loved it too!) We love that we got married at a place that we can return to for a beer and a pizza all year round, and would totally recommend it to other couples. 11/10.

On a beautiful summer night, we stopped by this little slice of heaven in Oxford Maine. Good beers, cool relaxed vibe, delicious wood fired oven pizzas.

The team, the venue, the food, the drinks, EVERYTHING is tremendous at Oxbow. We had our wedding there this summer and everyone who attended commented on how outstanding it was. The staff, in particular, are welcoming, kind, friendly, and generous with their time, energy, and enthusiasm. Best wedding ever, and will definitely recommend it to other couples considering Maine venues!

This place is absolutely phenomenal! We were looking for a local spot for takeout and Oxbow Beer Garden was recommended. I ordered two pizzas to go and took my 2yo with me to pick them up. When we got there, he immediately picked up the delicious aroma and said he wanted to eat. I grabbed the pizzas, a negroni for me, and sat down with him to eat what I though would be a single slice. Little man got in a zone, vibed to the live DJ performance - which was killer - and plowed through three slices (HALF!) of the marinara pizza. As soon as we got back to our camp, he went ahead and had a fourth slice. The most he'll eat back home is 2 slices! We also got the cheesy potato pizza with bacon and - oh my! That was the right call. The pizza was 100% legit but the bacon/lardon was out of this world!! We're only here for the weekend, but we will find an excuse to go back!! If you're in the area - definitely drop by! If you're from the area - you are lucky to have such an awesome place in your backyard!! Simply wow! 🤤🤤😍😍

The pizza here is amazing! Thin, floppy crust you can fold in half. The outdoor seating in great with lots of picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, fire pits, and all the beers I tried were awesome!

We celebrated our wedding in August 2021 at Oxbow Beer Garden in Oxford, ME with about 110 people. Oxbow - both the space and the staff - was amazing. The space was beautiful and their staff decorated it with seasonal flowers. (We hired a separate florist for a few smaller things.)

During our event, Oxbow supplied all of the food. During cocktail hour we had charcuterie, veggies, and their fantastic pizza. (This is coming from a New Yorker who has tried many types of pizza over 15 years of research.) Our dinner was served buffet-style with chicken/fish/veggie options and salads, all of which were delicious. Of course, they also included their amazing beer, along with wines, and some mixed drinks.

The staff was absolutely amazing. Much to our dismay, a hurricane decided to make an appearance on our wedding day (we know we know, rain on your wedding day is a blessing!). The Oxbow staff quickly adjusted. They changed the plan for where they thought food should be set up, donned ponchos and other raingear, and with positive spirits got our guests food in both a timely and remarkably dry fashion (calling tables up one-by-one)! They did all of this with smiles and friendliness At the end of the evening, they came out to dance with us and we couldn't have been happier.

Everything ran extremely smoothly. In weddings, something always goes wrong but none of the things that stressed us out that day had ANYTHING to do with Oxbow. When the bride showed up, they even led her to a little bridal suite, saved the cake for us to take home, and did things like help coordinate the tent and wedding canopy set up and set up a guest book. Much credit goes to Rebecca, the event coordinator, and Birch, one of the co-owners.

Not only will we continue to come to Oxbow on the regular for our pizza and beer needs but we are so thrilled to be able to remember it as the place we got married. We give Oxbow our highest recommendation for throwing an event. And even if you aren’t throwing an event, we highly recommend coming to Oxbow’s Beer Garden for pizza and beer.

I had my wedding and reception here and it was as close to perfect as you could get! Not only were the food and beverages delicious, the staff were AMAZING! They took care of everything and were so wonderful to work with. Wedding aside, this place is awesome. Great atmosphere to hang out, spend time with friends, and enjoy some delicious food and drink. I live out of state but the next time I'm in Maine, I will definitely be stopping at Oxbow again!
