Whistle Stop Grocery

Stopped here yesterday with my fiancé. It had been in my want to go list for awhile, and actually I had tried once but they had just closed, so this was a nice take 2. It is small, but it's full of cool gourmet items and a nice little cafe! We both ended up getting a white chocolate strawberry latte, which were good and surprisingly filling. The staff here were also super cool, and the reason I decided to give it a 5 instead of a 4.

Got out of Chicago for a much needed break. We’re staying at an Airbnb in Sawyer and decided to stop by this local spot. Absolutely adorable selection of fresh food made to order. Cute little grocery/coffee shop. Has a full latte bar with great barrista's attending to it. I've had 3 different employees make my latte there and they all do excellent. It seems management has done a great job turning things around from faults they dealt with last year. The deli there is also super convenient, you can't get a fresh quality sandwiches anywhere else in the area with quality ingredients like this place. Breakfast bagels are phenomenal. They do a good job keeping up considering its such a small little place. Check it out!

We stopped in to pick up milk, and ended up having the best chai latte ever!! The store is tiny but has everything you need in a pinch - plus there were some amazing looking cherry pies I can’t wait to try. The staff is very friendly.

We found Whistle Stop a few trips to Michigan ago and now we never visit without stopping by for a delicious sandwich and local craft items! Great coffee, too.

Stopped here on the lookout for coffee and was very pleasantly surprised by the bakery items. The biscuit is perfectly flakey. And there was a maple scone that was goodness in edible form: just the right amount of sweet, moist and chewy. I never like scones, but this was different. The coffee was tasty, too. I can see how this would be a nice spot to stop for breakfast or lunch in warmer weather. There is also a curated selection of groceries, cheeses, meats, etc. along with small gifts from local artisans.

Cold brew was legit + the peach berry pie was the best pie ever! Well second best my Grandma made the best pie and I’m going back tomorrow to check out their strawberry rhubarb. I hope it’s still there…

Excellent little coffee shop and market. Loved the honey bear latte and a breakfast sandwich.

I had the salmon bagel new years day and have been thinking about it almost every day since. Will 100% be routing this into every trip we take to MI.

House-made food is excellent and made with very high-quality ingredients. Barista Mikey is wonderful and makes a superb cup of coffee. The wine selection is well curated. You can grab a baguette and some cheese and walk to the beach down the street. It's a nice place to have in the area

Great little store to stop at in Union Pier for specialty foods/ wine/ pastries/ coffee. But the real winner is the cake! They do a phenomenal job, great customer service and taste absolutely incredible! Three layers with ganache and buttercream frosting, the best EVER.

The cutest little snack shop & grocer on Red Arrow Highway. Delicious pastries, cake, coffee & tea. Super adorable small gifts & books.

One of our favorite spots when we are vacationing in Union Pier. They have a nice selection of specialty foods, wines and beer. We like to stop in for their fantastic coffee and breakfast before we start our day. I also recommend the made to order sandwiches and especially enjoyed the Turkey Club.
Looking forward to coming back soon!

Was gifted some of their house made granola which was great! Then stopped by for a BYO hot sandwich and an iced latte… it was literally the best sandwich I’ve ever had. And the coffee was wonderfully creamy and made to my liking. Will be stopping by as much as I can while I’m in town

Probably the best espresso drinks we've had. I wish I would have bought a few bags of the whole beans to bring home. We only had coffee and pastries, but everything was really, really good. The staff was really nice to us and it was a cozy place to be. Would highly recommend.

Very cute market/coffee shop/sandwich stop. Order for curbside pickup to save time. Outdoor seating is available too.
