Fenton Hotel Tavern & Grille

Had a great time here! From listening to Jason and Andy play to great food and even greater service by Hannah! We will definitely be back.

The Fenton Hotel is a really unique spot and one of my favorites in Fenton. Take a look at their menu before you go in as I find that the food is excellent, the meals offered are not what you might normally have at home and need to make sure you are ready for such great food. Their appetizers are all pretty awesome as well - and I especially love the escargot. I have never had a bad meal here, it is a great atmosphere for friends and small groups, and I have also brought the family for the experience. The bar service is excellent as well. From an atmosphere perspective, it's got a classic upscale feel, but it is warm and inviting.

Everything is fantastic about this place! The food price and portions will make you stomach and wallet smile. Our server Camryn was a delight, always attentive and with a smile. The atmosphere is upbeat and fun. I really like how the tables are arranged for large groups too. Looking forward to when we make can make reservations.

My wife and I had been hearing good things from friends about the Fenton Hotel and Restaurant. On Thursday, July 27th we took the trip from Ann Arbor.
We were very pleased with everything. Trevor, our server, was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and professional in every aspect. He really made our dinner so enjoyable. The frog legs dinner was 5 Star. Highly recommend Fenton Hotel and Restaurant.

Classic restaurant! So many fantastic items! Their shellfish bisque soup is the best you'll ever have! I've been to every state on the east coast, the south and in the Caribbean and nobody has soup like this! The Fenton hotel has better seafood, shellfish bisque soup than any other restaurant! Speaking of seafood, there surf and turf, (Lobster and prime rib) is amazing! The Fenton hotel is serving the best tasting lobster in Genesee county!

It was our first time here and everything was excellent! The smoked whitefish dip and hotel au gratin potatoes are a must try here! Everything was fresh and presented perfectly. Our waitress Hannah was so nice and she was very knowledgeable about the menu!! We'll definitely be back!

Had the best dinner this evening. Meals were perfection and our server, Spencer, was amazing. They recommended my meal and it was phenomenal. Chicken with veggies olives and feta (can’t remember the menu name). The pumpkin pie martini is a perfect dessert drink. 10/10.

This place is very nice inside with what looks like copper ceilings and elegant lighting. The people working there were extremely nice and very helpful with knowing what was good on the menu. I tried the calamari and the shrimp cocktail. Both were very good and a decent size too. The fish and chips were very good and came with a good portion of fish. The meatloaf was very good with mashed potatoes and the gravy was excellent. The parking and the restaurant inside and out are wheelchair accessible.

Went for the thanksgiving dinner. It was truly a great experience. The place was nice and large. Extremely busy. I will be back for sure. The food was amazing and the staff are very friendly.

Great atmosphere. Lovely entertainment. Service wasn't as good as usual. They changed servers mid-meal, and we got lost in the shuffle. Most everyone's food was very good. Unfortunately, they didn't have the one dish that we came for, and the recommended substitute was not liked by our birthday girl (mom). This was usually her favorite place to spend her birthday, too.

Our waitress was delightful. Entertainment was a little loud in the bar, but he graciously turned the volume down on request and then it was great. The food was fabulous. Do not miss the seafood bisque!!

Absolutely Fantastic, the food is great, the service is responsive, and the atmosphere or ambiance is superb! In our opinion may be the best restaurant in the county. Don & Linda Murphy

One of my favorite eateries. Always a good experience. Love the old world ambience in the "bar side" of the restaurant.

Really great spot for an intimate meal. The staff is professional, reserved and always polite. The lighting and atmosphere is great for a meal with close friends, or with the special someone. The prices are well within reasonable means, especially when taking in to account the quality, flavor and portion sizing. We visited on a Friday, and they had a live band which only added to the overall experience. We will certainly be returning, for the service, and the lobster mac and cheese.

We had the best 29th wedding anniversary celebration at The Tavern! All the food we ordered was phenomenal and our server Brenden was awesome! We will definitely be back!

Delicious prime rib and soup. Fantastic live music. Our server was the BEST! She recommended good dishes and was the friendliest server.

Want the steak, service and atmosphere like the good ol days. This is the place to go. Not outrageous prices either for what you get. Highly recommend.

I want to tell you how pleased I am with everything about our experience this evening at Fenton Hotel! The food as always was amazing, my tenderloins bites were awesome, so tender, full of taste, so juicy! Just delicious! But the best part of the experience was Hannah! She was great! She was so welcoming and full of energy! Hannah got our order right and my husband had some requests about his meal (Dr orders), and she came back with upfront info about the meal and suggested and better meal and it was great! He was very pleased. Hannah made a point to include the kid’s opinion in their meals. She was the perfect example of what hospitality should be! Thank you again.
Oh… PS. The gentleman at the host desk was funny and welcoming as well!

Got there from Wixom with a small riding group of friends. For 3 of us it was our first time and man, what a wonderful surprise. Place is quite popular and today was some sort of a festive day in Fenton so we couldn’t get a table by the terrace. Nevertheless the food was plenty and cooked to order. Two of my friends had the lake perch with bisque soup -which was meticulously presented and based on their face quite amazing! Me and the other party had a house salad with our entree. He had a steak and I had the eggplant parmesan with garlic pasta. There is a considerable suited parking lot adjacent and regardless of the busy time we did not have a problem doubling up a car space with our bikes. All in all -with the gorgeous day riding in and out of Fenton- it was a very delightful dinner with best friends and worth making a mental note to return with other close relatives. Highly recommended.

Had prime rib Mother’s Day and it was the best prime rib I’ve ever had I’ve been wanting to go back for along time and I think I will soon! Great place
