Joe & Lewie's Penalty Box

I used to come to this establishment regularly but have been boycotting for several years so to a poorly behaved manager in an unfortunate situation. Coming back I'm glad to see the great atmosphere and friendly feel remain. I think I'll put this location back into my rotation and let bygones be bygones

Love this place! Good service and a great atmosphere, especially if you're a Red Wings fan. Best Philly Steak. Ask for au jus on the side (our waitress's tip). You won't be disappointed.

If we had ate there, I'm sure the food would have been good also.
I would give our time there as 5 stars.

Great pizza prices. Wonderful pizza! Chicken buffalo dio is also amazing.

I went to “the box”, (my kids, call it that )and had a Gyro sandwich and salad. It was delicious. Their fries were good also. My granddaughter likes the spaghetti, good place for adults to eat and they have stuff. Good enough for kids. Cool atmosphere sports like.

Quick getaway for date night. Tried wet burrito,big Sicilian, and Spinach/artichoke dip. All were quite tasty and served promptly.

Very pleasantly surprised. The chicken tenders are like none I've ever had before and so Delicious 🤤 I'd go back just for those.... Nay.... The deep fried pickle spears...🤤🤤🤤... Goin back for $7.99 burgers on Monday... See how the hold up... Oh wait... The kids pucks and fries... Unreal for$4.99. this place is an untold green... No joke.

This is definitely in my top 3 favorites! Lately my dining experiences in other restaurants has been mediocre at best. Penalty Box has always been consistent with great food and friendly attentive service, no matter how busy it is. It's also a real fun atmosphere with live music and all!

We needed a place to eat open after 10 p.m., and we were fortunate to find this place. Our server was so friendly, and our food was great. My husband got the ribeye steak dinner which was seasoned very well and cooked to perfection. I had the fried fish which was also very delicious. There was also a live musician playing some our favorite Billy Joel and Elton John songs. We had a really nice time and plan to go back.

Great place for some food and a drink. The Penalty box is a hockey bar but they play everything on the TVs. Live music occasionally and really tasty food makes this a good choice for a weekend stop.

I was here from out of town and we called 20 minutes before the kitchen closed while being 15 minutes or so away. The girls were nice and said they would wait a bit so they would be warm when we got there. Upon verifiable we were greeted promptly and offered a drink while we waited. The band was on their last song and sports were on every t.v. If I lived closer I would go there to watch sports and have dinner. Not sure why the ratings are so bad. Go Red Wings!

Service can be a little slow and the crowd is definitely on the older side, but their burgers are fantastic, get the burger with the egg on it and you won't be disappointed. Their kitchen staff has yet to let me down. Customer since 2008 and won't stop going.

Second time coming in for their burgers, which are 5.99 Mondays!! Great deal!! This is our new spot for Mondays. They tasted just as good as the first time. So good! Plus I love the old school redwings decor. If your a wings fan, you will love this place. :)

My Wife and I went to the Penalty Box for dinner last night and it was excellent!! The food was GREAT and the portions were huge! Becca was our Server and Becky was our Expo. I would rate the service as about the best we've ever had! Strongly recommend this place!

Staff always friendly and fast service! Music during the week. Many tvs to choose from for sports. Trivia night too.

Pleasantly surprised how good this place is. Becka was so knowledgeable and friendly. She was an exceptional waitress. Food really good. We will return soon.

Great spot to watch a game and def try the wings!!!!

Good food..terrible waitress...another waitress helped us out. Never got refills on drinks. Watched her as we were close to coming in out of kitchen. She just standing around. My daughter paid bill so I not get here name. Told other waitress thank you very much and let her know our waitress was the worst.

Came to Joe & Lewie's for the first time after a terrible first experience at "The Meeting Place"
Joe & Lewie's was miles better in every aspect of a restaurant. We love the outside patio and the service was great. The food was par with sports bar food and overall left very happy.
