Grotto Restaurant

Ashleigh was an excellent server! The food was great. Ceasar salad had an adequate amount of dressing, croutons, and cheese. The pizza was delicious and hot. The right amount of cheese and sauce. One not over powering the other. The crust was crispy and chewy. Tiramisu was perfect. Not an overwhelming espresso flavor. The fresh whipped cream was an excellent addition. 3/29 Had the chicken parm with red sauce and thin spaghetti tonight. We had wings, mozzarella sticks, and bones for appetizers. The bones took forever to come out, which amazes me. Not sure how they are made, unless they are making the dough for them from scratch. It should not take as long as it did. The food was great.

Awesome food very... "It calls to me!" And I get 9 digits in my phone before realizing I can't afford it. 😭🤣 On payday I'm arguing with my wife over getting me some Grotto like, "Baby! I ain't got enough to get you anything! 😂 Jk Seriously kind of expensive, but it's worth it! Save your money up and call 'em. I know at least one of their employees and I stand by his resolve, and the rest of the crew over there... For sure! Shout out to the Hot Italian Steak and Cheese!

First and foremost the best pizza in Plymouth dare I say all of NH, I’ve been a customer since grotto opened and while being impressed by the food the service has historically been pretty bad but tonight my mind has been changed my bar tender Mackenzie as well as other seemingly new faces behind the bar were so effiecient and personable I can’t wait to come back! Thanks Mackenzie you rock and the new manager as well

Great service by Sarah! Good food with generous portions. Everything was prepared perfectly. There were 5 of us & adult beverages were served. $155 total, and we were well pleased.

In the current world of understaffed restaurants and a huge influx of customers, Chris is a Rockstar. He was kind, professional and efficient while juggling multiple roles. The heaping portions of delicious food were perfect, and more than enough for 2 meals (next time we will split entrees and try more on the menu). My only complaint would be I prefer my spaghetti a bit more al dente, but it was still awesome. Live music, a casual vibe and excellent food, drinks and staff.

Strolled on in here with the lads to pick up a few pizzas (and a couple meatball subs for Ben and Kev) after a hike. I really enjoyed the ambience and was kinda hoping that we would stick around for a beer and a little chow chow sesh before we got back in the car. While I was daydreaming, the chaps made the decision to do exactly what I was hoping for. Magic. The crew shared some laughs, a buffalo burner, and a chees-a-licious while ascending into Yummytown. One of our guys had big eyes and ordered a way bigger beer than everyone else so I had to help him out. I’m not writing about that to show off or make him feel bad. I’m writing to show our camaraderie.

We love the pizza here! The Grotto and 8 cheese are our personal favorites. The meatball and ricotta app is the best! We always enjoy the pasta dishes we get here. And definitely save room for dessert. Sometimes if you are dining in, service can be slow, so we just plan to eat in if we have the time. We do get takeout a lot and never have a problem. Thanks for making us great food!

Just found this place to watch the Patriots game. Large bar area with 7 TVs, plenty of seating. Our server Sydney was very friendly and gave great suggestions.

Now onto the food, we only had the meatball app and a pizza, but I have to say it was the best pizza in town by far. The meatballs were also great with a sauce that I spooned up and ate even after the meatballs were gone.

I highly recommend this place.

The Grotto is the best! We've been coming here for years but recently had my sisters wedding after-party here. The staff was incredible. They accommodated our party, lets us play our own music, and went above and beyond to make it a special night. Casey, one of the managers, was a huge help. She helped us retrieve an item that was left behind the night of the wedding. I can't recommend this place enough! Thanks Casey!

First time here. Came because our favorite bartender Charlie started working here! What a great place! So many things on the menu I want to try! Food was good! Can't wait to try the pizza next. I had veal parm, others had shrimp scampi and calzone...everyone enjoyed their meal. Needless to say, drinks were soo good 👍. So happy I will be coming back for the good food and get to visit Charlie! 😋 😊

Our bartender was so pleasant. We had the Al Limone cocktail and it was delicious. The environment is very cool. The food is not only affordable, but honestly divine. I can't wait to go back and try more! So glad we stumbled into this place.

The Grotto features beautiful modern - DIY decor. The food, the service, THE DRINKS, everything is amazing here. Nancy, the bartender, is one-of the best bartenders I have ever seen (and I'm from MA). She is quick and agile, ready to take an order as a bartender should. She always recommends the best food and drink and WILL remember your usual order (if you're a regular). The whole staff, not just Nancy, works together like family, and you too will be treated as so. <3 Grotto For LIFE

Great casual place right off campus of Plymouth State University. Very popular with the college crew but I had a great lunches w/my son. Shrimp scampi was perfect, delicious -not overcooked; second visit got pizza -very good, cheesy & crispy crust. Large bar or tables for four.

Delicious pizza.. fresh basil..I had a 3.00 dollar samuel Adams... my friend had the meatballs.. he said it was yummy!!

This place a nice and friendly.
Service fast, smiling waitress is also include with the service.
Not easy to find, down below the other restaurants.
Definitely worth a shot.

I cannot say enough good things about Grotto’s, and in particular James Grotto. With only a few days notice, James agreed to a catering menu for our group of 60 in town for a sports tournament. He guided me in how much and what to order. The pizzas, pastas, and salads were a huge hit with the kids and adults. They were priced very fairly and could not have been more accommodating. We will be back, thank you James!
