Groovy Noodle

The groovy noodle is my favorite place to grab the bacon Mac and pork belly ramen! So good, maybe one day I’ll try something else but these are so good I haven’t switched yet.

The Groovy Noodle... what can I say, except it appeals to both my Asian and Southern heritages! Any place that will let me order (Day 1) pork belly Ramen and deep fried Mac and cheese balls is gonna be one of my favorites. And it is! The Ramen was SOLID, and I must admit... I didn't expect it to be. Broth was very tasty, with the pork belly knocking it out of the park. I think that if the broth was hotter, the ingredients were placed in the bowl first, then the piping hot broth on poured on top, it would've been even better... but really, that would ruin the presentation of things. Just my opinion here!

I have eaten at restaurants from Maine to San Diego, Seattle to Miami, and Wilmington, NC to San Francisco... and this is the only place I've went back to for lunch two days in a row. As such, (Day 2) the sharp, creaminess of the mac and cheese, mixed with other complex flavors in my Korean Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese was just the best. Sarah, one of the owners I assume, brought out a complimentary container of BBQ sauce, saying that's how they ate it... and it was a great addition! Granted, I only used it sparingly but what a great call! The fried shitake mushrooms were also perfection; I have eaten shitakes all my life but deep dried, dipped in a horseradish (?) dip was new and genius!

The food says it all, but they also have several selections of beer on tap as well, so that takes them over the top. Sarah and friends do a fantastic job, period and you would do yourself an injustice by skipping out on this wonderful establishment. I'd give six stars if I could!

This is my favorite spot to go for some delicious ramen noodle or their incredible mac n cheese! The employees are friendly, fun, and make you feel welcome. This is my go to spot after a big hike or if I want some real comfort food :)

Holy cow!!! I can’t say enough good things about this place!! My son and I stopped in for lunch today; I got the chicken bacon ranch mac and he got the classic Mac and cheese. The cheese sauce is so creamy and delicious, noodles were cooked perfectly, and the women working there were so kind! We will definitely be back!

How often do you come across a mac-n-cheese themed restaurant? I've been alive 33 years and this was a first for me.

I got the taco mac and my wife smashed on some of the ramen.. good lawd. We left as happy as a couple of drunken clams... because we shared a $6 pitcher of PBR cuz WHERE ELSE DO YOU FIND A PITCHER OF BEER FOR $6 IN THIS ECONOMY?!!

If you own this place, great job. If I lived around here, I'd be back weekly.

Had a really pleasant experience here. The vegan options were good and the staff was friendly. Nice clean bathrooms and groovy atmosphere. No complaints! Good if you're looking for a quick bite of comfort food.

I eat here multiple times a week. Literally everything on the menu is delectable. The service is flawless and personable. I wish I could eat here every day. The ambience is comfortable and chill. The vegan mac is my favorite item on the menu, I recommend adding jalapeños & sriracha. The beer on tap is always fresh and delicious too ~

Today was my first time dining inside the Groovy Noodle. The first thing that caught my eye was the new paint on the walls and a large ramen bowl. I asked for a custom ramen of chicken broth with chicken, kimchi, green onions, and bean sprouts. The young lady at the register was very nice and pleasant. I didn't have to wait very long for my noodles, which was served in a ramen bowl, with sticks and wonton soup spoon. The aroma of the broth was enticing. The broth was very flavorful with the right amount of salt. The veggies tasted fresh and added to the meal. The noodles were cooked well and not soggy. The chicken was very tender and also flavorful. I left happy and content with my meal. If I had to complain I would say I would want a larger bowl with more of everything, but that's just me. A great new concept for the Town of Plymouth.

Buffalo Mac is my go-to but today I went for a burrito. Fire. Made right in front of you with fresh stuff. Liked that instead of shredded cheese they use their cheese sauce. Wanted more salsa tho, but asked and got a full cup to dip my burrito in for free, absolutely lit.

The kimchi Mac and cheese was one of the best things I’ve ever had. Amazing flavour AND texture with the scallions and kimchi within the pasta. Good price. Very filling. Fast service too. Would definitely go again!

Delicious food combos and very funky decor. Lava lamps and prints from local artists on display. Cool place!

Had the pork belly ramen, and as someone who's had ramen in most major cities, this is definitely one of the best, if not THE best. I'll be coming back as often as possible for it.

The salads are awesome, always fresh and consistent. Another favorite of mine is the vegan Mac! Awesome staff, awesome food, super comforting environment. Definitely check out Groovy Noodle if you’re in the area.

Old subway turned into a Mac and cheese place. I went because they offer vegan Mac and cheese which a friend needed and there aren't a ton of options nearby for that. Pleasantly surprised.

As a Mom on the go always looking for great take out options. Absolutely love their salads! I can get comfort food for the family and a beautiful salad for myself. Their Ranch dressing is my favorite-I always order extra!

Drove around 500 miles to check this place out (and see my family but whatever). The food? DELICIOUS. The staff? SO FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I got the pork mac quesadilla (noodles in a quesadilla intrigued me). It was soooooo good. I ended up buying some Korean bbq sauce (a FULL mason jar) to take home. Highly recommend.

Great experience all around! I have had several of the dishes there and also ordered the family size portion of mac and cheese, which was perfect on a wintry day on the mountain to feed my guys, as we cut and burned brush. I never knew you could have mac and cheese that could taste so good and be as filling as it is! 5 stars!!
