Cafe Monte Alto

We went to Cafe Monte Alto to buy coffee grounds. The manager was super passionate about the product and walked us through the different taste profiles of their specialty blends and brewed us a cuppa so that we could taste the coffee before we brought it. The staff were very friendly and we had a great time there. The cafe has a very cozy vibe. I’ll definitely be supporting this local store in the future also.

This is a wonderful little coffee shop that also has a convenience store aspect to it. It is great for picking up some quick snacks, getting a breakfast sandwich or lunch too. It is very quaint and the staff is very friendly. The atmosphere can be a bit noisy at times with PSU students coming through to hang out, however, that's what you get with a college town. The mornings are best for quiet work time and the afternoons are more busy. Great little spot and I would highly recommend it.

Hot latte made with oatmilk and maple and hazelnut flavor. One of the best lattes I've had anywhere!

The atmosphere was great, however a bit too crowded for me, although I could choose another time to go, aside from that, it's a must visit if you are new to the area.

Tasty sandwiches, modified according to our dietary preferences, great coffee, a nice spot.

Great place with a variety of offerings, come here every day of my vacation to get coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Great place to pick up some local beers as well.

Great cafe' stop on a long trip home. Funky with a wide array of high quality goodies and eats to go. Their Almond Milk lattes and hot cocoa are awesome. The service was above and beyond. With a lot of allergies, they were accomodating to look at the ingredients list to ensure they were safe treats. We'll definitely pop back in on our next trip up north.

The cold brew was delicious and most importantly coffee cubes instead of ice cubes!! I was able to take my time drinking my iced coffee and it never got diluted 💜💜💜

First time I’ve been here, just was making a stop off the highway and this coffee slaps. Definitely a five star coffee! I got an iced double latte and it is the best coffee I’ve had in such a long time. Shop is cool and the atmosphere is nice. Would definitely go again!

Also my ice cubes are frozen coffee, huge plus!

Went here for the reviews. Holy moly... Amazing coffee amazing food, amazing environment. My iced late had coffee ice cubes in it. Such an amazing touch... It got better the more I drank. Plus the cafe was awesome. They were a bit busy around lunch time so the cashier ran over to help take my order. I dunno who she was, but she was amazing. She's the kinda worker I'd hire in a heartbeat.

I love this place for meeting friends or stopping for a latte to go. The lattes are drinkable right away, no need to wait for the espresso to cool. The counter help are friendly.

We love to go here regularly and get the coffee, tea and cocoa. The staff are really awesome and we love to sit in the windows on the fluffy leather couch and watch the people pass by. There's a warm, clean, cozy atmosphere and it's attached to a deli that has awesome sandwiches. There's a clean bathroom and gentle music. The walls feature local art for sale. If you're in the area, absolutely stop by and get a drink. They have mugs available for guests that sit and sip or paper cups and lids of you're heading out.

Awesome coffee shop! They serve delicious coffee concoctions and great breakfast sandwiches. I saw a large variety of beers in the coolers, deli sandwiches and hot sandwich options! Will be coming here for sure next time around!

Great place, coffee is good but if you don't like it sweet tell them light of you get a flavor. It's a college town so I think they cater to the sweet coffee crowd. Otherwise definitely worth a stop for a coffee.

We stumbled in Cafe Monte Alto's dark roast coffee 10 years ago and have been loyal customers ever since. The BEST we've ever had! Easy ordering and super fast delivery. We are total fans.
