Gorgeous village and cabins! We are from Eastern Europe and really miss this wooden architecture from our childhood. So we were really happy with their Nordic style village and amenities. The fog blended in perfectly with the atmosphere. We even watched Vikings TV show to give ourselves a full immersion experience.
You should definitely stay here to feel Scandinavian vibes. I think this resort would benefit from a good sauna and hot tub. Just an idea to consider! Thank you to the hosts for a wonderful stay and accomodation!

I don’t have enough superlatives to describe this gem of a getaway tucked into the woods in southern Vermont. I gasped as we drove up to the huge gates like a fortress, and saw the Viking lodge and row of thatched roof cabins. The owner Christina was so accommodating and our cabin was cozy, clean, comfortable and meticulously appointed with every amenity. The solid quality of construction and thoughtful attention to numerous details made this an exceptional experience for our 50th anniversary!

This is a MUST DO!!! This is a unique, super cute and cozy place to stay!! The cabins are gorgeous and the owners are absolutely delightful. It’s private and tucked away in a woods setting. While we were traveling as a couple, I would strongly recommend this as a great destination for kids too!! Love, love, love!!

What an unusual and wonderful property! My family and I enjoyed a brief one night stay in this extraordinary resort. The carefully curated decor and meticulous construction did everything to make us feel as though we had stepped back in time and into an authentic Norse village. The cabin furnishings and fixtures are luxurious and new, the cabin was immaculate and comfortable. We enjoyed the well appointed kitchen, the gas fireplace and fantastic bathroom. We can’t wait to return!

Book Now. Before this place gets massively popular. Wow! What a find. The cleanest cabins I have ever seen. Meticulously decorated and perfectly appointed, perfect for a family of 4 or a couple looking for a romantic (and themed) retreat. The books of Viking mythology ensure you have the appropriate bedtime reading. The kitchen is perfect for those of you looking to have a night on after exploring the trails in the area. Christina is the perfect host, she made sure we found the place and offered guidance to local spots to check out. LIKE I SAID “BOOK NOW!”

This was one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The cabins are clean, comfortable, and impressively decorated. The village transports you to feel as if you are staying in another world, with all of the comforts of home. They thought of everything when building these Viking houses. We loved every minute and already booked more dates to come back. Love this place!

The Theme is well done- clearly the vikings wouldn't have such nice accommidations- the individual cabins offer all the modern conveniences, have room for up to 5 People.
Queen bed first floor, couch that changes into bed, upstairs two twin bed, high thread count sheets, multiple pillows, gas wood stove for Ambiance- Roomy bath- modern shower, full kitchenette with coffee maker pods, refrigerator stocked with buns from a local place- all utensils and small touches that make you immerced in the theme. A dirt meandering road leads you through the gates and like my wife's first reaction "Wow." Money well invested in an experience, we are all ready thinking about other group uses for this.

Wow. Great accommodations in a tremendously unique locale with rustic viking themed chalets. Cozy, clean, and very nicely appointed. Full kitchen and fridge. Kids and adults like will enjoy this gem of a place. Management very welcoming and most kind in keeping tabs on my arrival via text message. Thanks Christina.

Popped in for a walk through for a potential event in the lodge. Limited staff on site as it was end of day, but they were most accommodating and welcoming. Found on a meandering road deep in the woods yet easily accessible. No detail has been overlooked to capture the quality and viking essence. Cabins are well appointed and look quite comfortable. Oohs and Ahs abound. We hope to return to experience Viking Villages fullness.

While it is a little out there this is probably one of the coolest little cabins I have ever slept in overnight. There is no cheap components in this everything is high quality beautifully built and detail-oriented. The staff was incredibly helpful in helping us to get our room and the amenities are just brilliant.

My friends and I really enjoyed staying here on our way through Vermont! Wish we would have stayed longer. Impressive attention to detail in the architecture and construction of this whole facility and we loved our little cabin, very cozy and well thought out. Great hospitality as well. This would be a beautiful wedding venue.

Beautiful place inside and out. Very clean. Great attention to details. Everything you could need in the kitchen area.
The couch wasn't comfortable. The mattress in the main bedroom wasn't great. Overall a very good stay, will be back.

We discovered this place online before they even opened and booked immediately for a fall trip. So glad we did! The cabins are gorgeous, clean, comfortable, beautiful, cozy, and fun! The owner was VERY helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The setting was beautiful and quiet, we felt that we were really secluded in the peaceful woods that surround it, but cluse enough to services and activities so we didn't feel isolated. Even though I live 2,000 miles away I will find a way to get back to Vermont just to I can stay here again.

Our visit to this wonderful and exceptional resort was memorable. The beautifully appointed natural wooded surroundings are only surpassed by the iconic Vikings Villages cabins and main house/event hall. Our host, Christina, was so welcoming and gave us a tour of the property along with insights into the construction of this fine property. One can easily acknowledge the great care and craftsmanship that went into the building of Vikings Villages. Our main cabin was appointed with first-class furnishings and high-quality linens/accessories and well-appointed kitchen/bedrooms and furniture. The entire Village resort is truly a masterpiece to behold, you are literally transported back in time to a literal Viking village - it truly is a sight to be seen. Please visit and stay at this amazing property - just minutes from historical Guilford / Brattleboro.
