If you're in Beatrice and looking for big city quality food, this is the place to go. The menu is quite extensive. Everything from Caesar salad to steak to seafood to pizza. They serve beer and wine and have a full bar, as well. The building has incredible character including a beautiful tin ceiling. The outdoor space is welcoming and cozy. If that's not enough to entice you, all of the members of the staff, including the owners, are fabulous! Check it out. I assure you, you will not be disappointed!

An unexpected delight in downtown Beatrice. This was a really great dining experience. 5 star dining in a small town in Nebraska. The Black Crow has an extensive cocktail, beer, and wine list. After hearing about the specials, we barely looked at the rest of the menu (but it was robust if the specials don't intrigue you). The food was excellent all the way around.

The server was excellent. We'll versed in the menu and did a great job.

This place is worth going out of your way for.

Big Thanks to Ray & Kate for bringing the BLACK CROW to Beatrice - 25 yrs & still excelling in fine dining - tasteful ambiance in restored dining room, someday I just want to sit at the antique bar - maybe you'll want to start with an Arbeg - ? what?, the best smokey Islay Scotch in Beatrice (thanks to Kate, her fave) - better get a pint of Guinness on tap with that!...ask for a side Caesar salad with the best anchovies anywhere - Fun Pizzas - impeccable seafood dishes - maybe you'll stop in for a special on Thursday ethnic night - don't worry about dessert - you'll get it if you know what's GOOD for you - over heard one diner say, "Oh, that's what bread pudding should tase like!"...don't be selfish, expect to share desserts ! - everyone will want a taste - CHEERS!

Amazing food! Full bar with an experienced bartender. Unique atmosphere with awesome 40's-50's vibe. The owner is very pleasant and interesting to talk with. Great wait staff. Will definitely visit every time we're in Beatrice.

The Black Crow is the best fine dining experience in Beatrice and probably the southeast Nebraska area. An incredibly diverse menu, consistant service and dining experience, and great prices compared to similar restaurants in a larger city, since there is nothing to compare this restaurant to in the Beatrice area. Highly recommend.

A lovely diamond in Beatrice. A fabulous engaged staff and an excellent menu.
Sauce heavy... most Americans love, and it is a good sauce.

Beatrice, Nebraska. Pronounced Bay-AH-trice. This isn't a place I was looking to visit. I came here because a part on my aircraft failed, and I needed the nearest airport. It was a frustrating day that had started with an actual emergency that morning, to be followed by this failure. My morale was low, and the only recommendation for food in town I had gotten was for a fast food place. But I saw this place on Google Maps and I figured, "why not?" Down I went.

What a delight.

Seriously.

This place cured my ills for the evening with a dinner worthy of Michelin Stars, and with friendly faces and absolutely outstanding service. I was alone, so I sat at the bar and had a long conversation with Kate the bartender, who also happens to own the place with her husband. They've been there 30 years, and they restored the building (an original from the days of the Old West). The love and care shows. It shows in the setting, in the food, and in the hospitality. My biggest regret was that my wife wasn't with me. It's really her kind of place.

I might actually have to go back.

To Beatrice. Pronounced Bay-AH-trice.

To visit. On purpose this time.

My boyfriend and I were in town from Kansas City tonight and this place caught our eye online, the menu looked amazing. We arrived without a reservation (pro tip, make a reservation!), and the owner said it would be about an hour and 15 minute wait. We hesitated, and she quickly said she could serve us dinner at the bar. Man, am I glad she did. The food was outstanding, we shared an amazing ceasar salad, the homemade dressing was incredible. For dinner, I had the Tuscan Marinated Shrimp and my boyfriend had the Roast Half Duckling. Holy cow, so good!! The atmosphere is incredible, and the old charm of the building made for a perfect evening. My only regret was not catching the owner's names, had a delightful conversation with her as we ate, and her husband the chef was pumped that Kansas City people loved his food! Highly recommend this gem if you're ever in Beatrice!!

Make a reservation! The restaurant was busy, and even with our reservation we had a short wait. The service was slow as a result of the staff to customer ratio. We ran out of drinks and waited longer than we would have liked for refills, but we understand the wait staff was rushing and doing the best they could to provide adequate service to all of their patrons. Our food was freshly prepared and delicious. The creme brulee was delicious, and a great way to complete our dining experience.

Truly is 5 star dining from the appetizers to the main entrees to the dessert (Carmel cheese cake)! Quiet, low lighting and top quality servers. And finally, a nice selection of wines!

I rarely leave reviews but this place deserves it. Living in beatrice for work and this place is my go to. The food and service is unlike anywhere else. Good variety and the bread pudding is amazing. Perfect for a date night or if you are like me go alone and pig out!!!

Upon entering the Black Crow a wave of comfort and elegance welcomes you, along with the smiling face of Holly, our knowledgeable maitre d’. Her warm personality and soft approach guided my husband and I along the wine menu, and she immediately sold the mussels as an appetizer to us, she is the best waitress bar none. We will be taking Holly to purchase a vehicle, as her sense of perfection is impeccable. She did not cast judgement as we ordered 4 desserts, she was excited because we were excited. My husband and I will be coming back, as Holly made these two star crossed lovers feel as if it was the first date again.

This restaurant is top notch! The staff are highly professional. The food is extremely creative and delicious. The wine selection is as good as any you’d find in a cool urban restaurant. The whole experience was eloquent! Who would know you’d experience this in a small city in Nebraska! I will return to Beatrice just to dine at the Black Crow again!

Really good food. Great flavors. A wonderful little spot. A family owned establishment where they know their customers by name and if you've never been there they treat you just as well. I really enjoyed my dining experience. If the weather allows it eat outside, they have a great outdoor dining space.

The Crow is a small town treasure. Wonderful food, great atmosphere, and friendly staff. Kate and her husband have a real winner here. Well worth the drive from Lincoln.
