Simply spectacular! There are not many places like it, other than Bondcliff, but Table Rock is far more accessible to get to, even though it is so far north. Worth the trip to do this short 1.5 mile hike to the pinnacle rock overlooking Dixville Notch and the Balsams Resort.

We huffed and puffed our way up the fairly steep trail, inhaling or swatting at the entire NH bug population along the way. Having done so, we arrived at the top in a little over 30 minutes, but like others have said: 45 minutes seems more reasonable. There's an even steeper declining portion at the end that leads onto the rock. But the view once you're there? Worth all the uncomfortableness and extra protein. 100% would do this hike again.... in at least a few weeks. ⛰ ☁ 🌤 Allow about 2-3 hours total, depending on your pace.

I have wanted to take in this view for many years and finally was able. It was Breathtaking! Not a long hike but difficult and dangerous at points. Takes a bit of nerve to walk out to the ledge.

This is a short walk for a fantastic view. There were a few parts I couldn't catch my breath but it's been awhile since I hiked last. It was absolutely worth the three hour drive I took to get there. I'm also pretty sure you can see Canada from here but don't quote me! That's just what I was told.

The trail we did wasn't too difficult, however I guess there is a shorter trail that is much steeper. The view was stunning if you are brave enough to go out on the ledge!

Took the steep path up. Was honestly a bit better being wet ground for grip climbing the trail.

Exceptionally beautiful but be prepared for the crowds, especially in the Fall.

Wonderful hike. We parked in the parking lot east of the notch near a picnic area with an old cemetery. The early part of the hike was definitely the steepest but it actually gets easier as you get to the top. Follow the yellow tree markers all the way to the top.
We took our time, 3 hours total round trip. Could probably be done in under 2 hours.

During fall peak colors - this is the place to hike up to. Make sure to park at the 'easy way' up route. We did the crazy scramble up and while it was a great cardio workout - the easy way is much better. Also - going out onto the ledge at the top is really amazing.

Incredible views. Adrenaline rush at the end with the narrow ledge but the 360° views made it completely worth it. Be careful if windy or rainy, as the ledge still had us on edge in pleasant weather.

Great little 3/4 mile hike one way. Not difficult at all. Geodes along the way were nice to look at.
The view up top is absolutely amazing, not for the faint of heart.
I recommend for anyone passing through to stop you won't regret it

Moderate hike, can get slippery and muddy depending the weather. Views are epic, I highly recommend.

3/4 mile up to the lookout. Steep. Hiking boots advised. Beautiful views.
