I want to commend Wally and Dennis for their generous help! I brought a handful of coins (Morgans, Peace dollars, and Standing Liberties) that I hoped to get a professional's opinion on and they sure delivered. Professional and competent are attributes that come to mind as Wally took an unrushed look at my coins; delivering honest, reasonable, and helpful comments. He knows his stuff, no doubt. He gave his time and experience freely, asking nothing for his efforts. And BTW, they offer a nice selection of quality coins too. NC Coins and Stamps is exactly what our hobby needs.

The owner was very accommodating do to me running late he stayed at the business even though he had plans for that evening. Very nice guy and is willing to tell you about your coins if your willing to listen. I would recommend this place to everyone.

On Thursday, October 13, 2022 I visited the North Country Coin Shop. The man, Dennis, who was running the shop told me he is the owner. When I told him what sort of U.S. and Canadian coins I'm looking for he told me he has never carried them in 30 years and he became very confrontational and hostile. He ordered me to leave his shop and told me to never come back. He accused me of telling him how to run his business, which I did not do. As I went out the door I thought he was about to hit me! My wife and I shopped in two other local businesses and when I told them what had happened at the coin shop they were not surprised and said, "We never go there!" "That owner has been treating customers like that for years. It is common knowledge here in town." I am 71 years old and have never been treated so rudely or threatened in all my years of trying to buy something! I only wish I could leave this post without giving even one star as he has definitely not earned even one!
