Went there for inspection. Everything was smooth! From beginning to driving away was roughly 20 minutes.
There was a line of cars in front of me, they moved quickly and professionally.
The inspectors seemed very efficient and moved everyone right along.
I highly recommend going to bakers basin for vehicle inspection.

We had an exceptional experience here getting my son’s road test and drivers license. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The experience couldn’t have gone better. Each and every person went above and beyond to make this one of the most memorable birthdays for my son and I. Thank you to all of the staff at Bakers Basin drivers testing!!!

I went to this facility for two things: Real I.D. and a five year sticker for my wife’s new car. First off everyone was friendly and for the volume that they encounter they keep things moving in a very timely manner. My initial appointment was canceled due to the snow emergency so I received a text stating that I could walk in without an appointment between certain days the following week. That was helpful. I had my card all filled out for a second time because of the date change and made sure that I had multiple forms of identification. Make sure that you read the instructions carefully. I got to the desk and Candace was very pleasant. The only problem is that I included my middle name on the form and none of my forms of identification had my middle name. Candace told me that I had to fill out another form. I must have sounded a little frustrated when I told her that I had already filled out this form twice before. Without hesitation she quickly filled out the form for me and said that either than that I came very well prepared. Again, she was extremely personable and asked if I chose my middle name; which I did. While waiting for the next part of the process I watched her help other applicants and she provided them with the same great service. The woman that took my picture and finished the process was equally efficient!

I then went across the parking lot to get my new car sticker. Dave was equally personable and quick! It was a great experience all the way around. Again, for the number of people and different personalities that these folks have to encounter on a daily basis they were kind, professional and efficient. I barely right reviews but I felt that this experience warranted my time. Thank You NJ DMV in Lawrenceville!

Examiner Mr Eddie - ID 7340 is a very kind person and gave me a positive energy since my test started. He is the great person and very knowledgeable guy. I recommended him and this test center

I renewed my driver's license at this location today and was so pleased with how efficient and easy it was. I only had to wait a few minutes to have my ID documents verified, and then I was at a window finishing the process a few minutes later.

Pleasant over the phone experience with Imani, very polite answered all my questions, and gave me the information that I needed, very professional great overall experience!

My Story and experience for renewal of License during Pandemic:
Date of Service: 10/27/2020
Location: Lawrence Township / Bakers Basin

Reached DMV at 6:30 AM and was in a line, there were people in front of me and because of social distancing the line appears to be very long so do not panic. I have seen people almost touching the US-1 and they still got token for the day. They issue around 200-250 tokens in a day.

Upon receiving the token we were sent inside with keeping distancing in mind and we registered our phone number and got the virtual queue place with DMV.

Once, the token is almost about to be called I received text message about my number is almost there and must reach the gate.

At the gate, there was a queue again to go inside the building for last time. Now, this time they verified the 6 points document and I finally received my renewed license.

tips:

1. Do not panic by looking at long initial line.
2. Bring some chair if possible to sit and wait till 8:00 AM.
3. Do not drink much water as the toilets have no access or they have portable ones on the spot.
4. Try to be in there parking lot and wait for the turn to be called in.
5. Bring all documents and calculate 6 points before hand going to DMV to avoid loss of day or any rush at last minute.

Staff is excellent and they are very helpful.

I’ve come here twice, and both times have received good service. Don’t go to the one in Camden or Delanco, come to this one!

Young man at entrance was helpful and told us the correct location to go to update vehicle registration. Also have no issues getting car inspection here as staff is nice to drivers while working to get your car approved. If denied they give you a detailed list what work needs to be done.

Negative reviews mainly show disrespectful treatment for people getting drivers license. My experience has only been inspection as I only interacted with young men that are always pleasant.

Despite a 25 minute wait at 9am on a Saturday morning, it was a pleasant experience. :) I passed. 2 months late on my inspection And my tire pressure light on (Honda). Thank you MVC!!

Went for a name change. There are no walk-ins on Saturdays FYI (learned the hard way unfortunately). But I went back on a Thursday, got there at 7:15am to wait. At first everyone (walk-ins and appointments) waited on line but when they open the doors at 8 they split us all into two lines—appointments on one, walk-ins the other. The woman let anyone with an appointment between 8-9 in first and then let walk-ins in after. I was first in line for the walk-ins so I was out by 8:35. Everyone I dealt with was very nice! Overall positive experience but wish they made it more clear there are no walk-ins on Saturdays.

I had my driver’s test the day after my birthday and Brian was my driver test inspector. I was very nervous, but Brian made me feel very comfortable. He assured me that I was doing everything right. I hope when you have your test and you see Brian come to your car, he will make your experience a good one just like mine.

I have been to 3 DMVs in the last week I must say that I received such wonderful customer service from baker's basin there are two ladies that I would like to give a shout out to miss Sylvia and Miss Ginny they help me out tremendously not everyone was pleasant trust me but I was lucky enough to have the 2 that were incredible. Ladies you deserve this recognition your customer service is outstanding

I had a wonderful experience here. The man who was checking people in for appointments was super kind and helpful. A woman named Char helped me with my license and title. I could not have asked for a kinder and more thoughtful person to help me. I had a terrible experience at another DMV on Friday and was terrified to go into this one. These folks were incredible.

I had a great experience with my road test at this location. T. Moore was such a thoughtful and kind instructor. I haven't driven in many years due to an accident so retaking my road test 15 years later was very nerve wracking. T was so nice and quickly made me feel comfortable.

I hope she sees this! I won’t forget her kindness.

Ok so I don't know of a time when most say that the employees are nasty too everyone but I always say you get what you give. The time I was there this morning I couldn't complain at all! They couldve had more people directing traffic but all in all the people trying to be as helpful as they could and were courteous doing so. I was there no more longer than usual (I think in all the years I've been going only once was I out of there in a half-hour). The workers were great too deal with!! Long story short dmv at Bakers Basin was a good experience. Thank you

Went to this dmv today I took my road test, I had the examiner named Cory. Very nice and makes you feel really comfortable. Line was very fast and easy inside to get my license 100% recommend going here.
