Forno Bistro

Our server was wonderful and helped make this a special night for us. The food was delicious and we appreciated the table which gave us ample space. Portions were generous and we had delicious leftovers sufficient for mom and dad to enjoy the next day. Thank you to the Forno Bistro team!

I am so excited to review Forno Bistr because it is absolutely worth a 5 star rating. We had their octopus appetizer, and without any exaggeration, it was the best octopus I have ever had. The beat salid was excellent, and their lasagna was very good. I'm not sure what kind of meet they used, but it was not your ordinary ground beef. We have a new top two restaurants in Saratoga. We will be coming back.

Great spot. The service was amazing. Staff/server was great. Food came out in a timely manner. I got the special of the day. A pasta in aged Alfredo sauce with scallops and shrimp. Meatballs as an appetizer, they were fantastic. Make a reservation for sure. We had a reservation and were seated right away. However, the person in front of me did not and they were told an hour and a half wait(this was at 6pm on a Saturday) not sure if it is a busy during the week.

Had a nice anniversary dinner here. I wish the tables were a bit further apart but made up for it with the delicious food and generous portions. I noted it was our anniversary in the reservation and they brought us a nice surprise, helped make our night special 😊

The place was very busy on a Saturday night, loud. The services was good and the apps were excellent. We had the antipasto del forno- assorted apps, great pick. The entrees are generous portions. Overall it was a good night! Will be back with fam very soon.

I have to say, this is an amazing place. As a fine dining Executive Chef, I'm so picky whenever I eat at any restaurant. Unfortunately we live in an age that many people don't care what quality they offer within their restaurant. Not this place! Everything was top notch, the service was great from the second we walked in, to when we were leaving. Our wonderful very attentive waitress Nollah really did well with being attentive, because she was very busy. She took time to introduce herself and to speak with us and to follow up to make sure we were doing well and enjoying ourselves. She's a waitress that every restaurant hopes for.

We started out with the meatball appetizer, and that was a hit. Made of pork, veal and beef and it was cooked to perfection. You are able to taste that those meatballs were made from scratch and have never seen a freezer! We had the eggplant and spicy sausage rigatoni and it was great. Whomever is the chef should get a raise for truly showing he cares with how every dish came out of that kitchen!

The hostess was also very attentive, this indeed was a great experience from beginning to end. Hats off to the owners, to management, to the staff for showing they care for this business of culinary with not only the amazing service, or amazing ambiance, but for the food being made with such love and an eye for perfection.

So if you are in Saratoga, and want an amazing experience, in the mood for great Italian food, this place is a must try. You will not regret it!

Bartender Candace was presently knowledgeable about menus options and was happily willing to kindly assist me in deciding the best options on the menu. Awesome! plentiful! happy hour options! drinks, food, and dessert options for ridiculously cheap! Loved the warm low lighting, comfortable, unrushed environment ❤

we are recurring customers both for dining in and taking out from Forno bistro. The Staff and management of this fixture in downtown Saratoga maintain the highest level of quality - this is not left unnoticed! We have had a variety of foods on their menu and have yet to find one that disappoints. A special a few weeks ago (a ragu pasta) was out of this world. We hope that it becomes a staple part of their future menu. During track season it's hard to get in but we 'locals' know that once that ends we have our treasured place to return to.

Sooo much fun!!! Outstanding appetizers and dinner! I never realized how delicious Arancini actually was because it tasted nothing that I had ever had in the past! The appetizers Gamberi E Carciofi and Crab Cakes were outstanding! The calamari lovers said it was the best ever. Main entrees, such as Osso Buco, Eggplant Parmesan, Scallops with Shrimp, as well as their pizza were just perfect! Our group consisted of seven adults and two children. The waiters were friendly, efficient and extremely accommodating.

We had our Friday night wedding rehearsal dinner at Forno Bistro on 10/20/23 and it was 10/10! Carina was amazing to work with and the night at Forno was absolutely a perfect start to our magical weekend. Everyone had the best time at your restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and the restaurant is beautiful. We really appreciate all of Carina and her team's help and hard work to accommodate us and our large group (100 people). Our welcome party was exactly what we had envisioned and MORE. We rented the entire restaurant out and it was well worth it. I can't recommend Forno enough for a special event or even just to go out to dinner! You will not be disappointed in any aspect. Thank you, thank you x10000!

Went on Valentine’s Day and received exceptional and fast service, the food was just as amazing! Great atmosphere! Will definitely be returning.

Forno Bistro never disappoints! Our dinner was outstanding and service just as great. It is one of our favorite places in Saratoga.

In a town of high dining standards, this place is as solid as any. The atmosphere is informal, somewhat rustic, and comfortable. The hostess, servers, and all other staff encountered were kind, patient, and thorough. The food is excellent. There was an appetizer special of burrata served with crostini and bruschetta topping, the latter of which had a pronounced hand of fresh garlic, which I love. The burrata was refreshing and decadent, the crostini crisp and coated in unctuous olive oil. The meatball appetizer is excellent as well; they are small but packed with flavour, and covered in just the right amount of delicious sauce and melted mozzarella. The eggplant involtini appetizer was equally delicious, filled with delicious herbed ricotta, and topped with sauce and cheese. The seafood fra diavolo was good, served with a strongly spicy and delicious sauce; it would have been nice to have more seafood, but all in all a good dish, and the sauce is great for mopping up with bread. The lasagna is not your typical; it is rolled and sliced into cross-sections, which makes for a pinwheel effect when served in a cast-iron dish under a layer of tomato sauce and béchamel.

Great experience here. The outdoor patio was gorgeous and our server Brian had the best food and drink recommendations for us. The shrimp artichoke pasta special was to die for! Great staff and atmosphere.

While working in the area we stumbled upon this place and wow what a find. Fantastic service to go along with amazing meal and drinks. Thank you and we will be back. Ps. Dessert and expresso also fantastic 😋

My husband and I visited on a Thursday evening. We made reservations, but upon arrival, chose to sit at the bar (it’s often our preferred seating). We were greeted by friendly bartenders who were attentive and took great care of us. We very much enjoyed the grilled octopus and Caesar salad, as well as our entrees of eggplant parm and lasagna. My espresso martini ‘dessert’ (made with decaf espresso!) was delicious. A great experience & will definitely be back!

Went here for a drink and an appetizer. Highly recommend the blood orange martini!! Will definitely be back for a real meal soon

Went for a dinner last night and it was fantastic! Went with our 6 year old and they have a decent kids menu. I had the Pollo Panato (pictured) and it was absolutely amazing!

Absolutely amazing. The food was fantastic. If you want good Italian food - go here. The ambiance is also lovely - the inside is very cozy and the patio (where we sat) was very nice with large fans moving the air to control the humidity. I love that this restaurant is slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of most of Broadway. Also - I debated giving 4 stars for service because there was quite a delay in receiving our appetizer but they immediately took it off the bill (without our asking) and there were no other hiccups in service...so, I went with 5 stars. When a restaurant makes a mistake but immediately corrects it, I can't hold it against them!
