Federal Meats - Hamburg Village Square

This place is the best. I have gone there for 15+ years. They care about the meat they sell and they care about the customer. I am always greeted by my name when I go there.( by the veteran employees,new ones don't know me from the next guy). They do special orders and it is always exactly what I ordered and expected.

Hamburg location is wonderful in terms of service and answering questions as is corporate. I came in solely to purchase 2 items I had a coupon for and to get an idea of what else they had to offer. Staff member who helped me was incredibly kind and when I asked him a question about the products he went and checked for me. Being a parent of a child with anaphylactic food allergies I have to be incredibly careful about what we purchase, the potential / possibilities of cross contamination in products, and what we cook in our home. Upon arriving home my own anxiety got the best of me that I had not personally read the labels of the items purchased - so I contacted their help email on the webpage asking if they could send me the labels. Within probably less than an hour they wrote back providing me a picture of the labels and following up. Absolutely amazing and kind customer service from start to finish. Definitely won our family over as a customer. We will be back. Thank you!

It was my first time visit, and Riley helped me out today. He gave friendly, attentive, and helpful service and was awesome! I HIGHLY recommend. Prices are reasonable, meats, fish, and sides all look incredible and I cannot wait to cook everything up. Thanks, guys!

This is one of our favorite places to go. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by everyone with genuine kindness. The people and products are the real deal, quality in both is a priority there. We always look forward to our trip to Federal, we leave with not only the best quality meats around, but also with a feeling that you are appreciated as a person. This place is a gem in the community.

My wife and I moved back to the area after spending several years traveling for work. We settled in Hamburg and were happy to see a local Federal Meats store in the Village Square Plaza. We headed there before Xmas and purchased a tenderloin which the guys were happy to butcher into steaks, a roast and burgers. As in the past the quality, service and selection is still the best we have ever encountered. The steaks were a huge hit at Xmas dinner and we will be going back to fill the freezer!!!

Growing up in North Tonawanda, my parents always bought our meats at Federal, so it made sense I would do the same. My husband and I lived in Kenmore and shopped at the Delaware store, where Larry would give us excellent service, Last year we moved to Orchard Park and didn't know which Federal to go to. We tried the one in West Seneca and the one on Kensington and were very unhappy with the service and selection compared to the Kenmore location. Then we found the Hamburg store! Patrick introduced himself to us and gave us the exceptional service we were used to in Kenmore. He would give us recommendations, cooking tips, samples to try, etc. The store is clean, the selection is 2nd to none, and the quality cannot be beat. My brother came one time with us when he was visiting from Connecticut and he was so impressed he said if he lived here he would be in the store every week. He liked the way they dress with the white shirts and tie (very professional), loved the way everyone was so friendly and helpful, and loved the selection of meats and food. I hear horror stories about how our meats are raised in the USA and then shipped to China to be slaughtered and packaged and then shipped back to the USA. WHY??? I know that when I buy my meat from Federal it is fresh and never shipped out of the country and shipped back. I will not buy my meat anywhere else. Thank you Federal, Pat and Larry. We appreciate you. Keep up the good work.

Federal Meats worked with us on a custom order of shish kekebabs and side salads for our September 25th Bills-themed tailgate wedding. Both Tom and Pat from Federal Meats were very helpful in helping me plan the menu, budgeting and planning the amounts of food needed. They packed up the large order and loaded my car with the food that we cooked on-site at our reception. It was delicious! I highly recommend the Chicken Terryaiki shish kebabs. They also did a custom order of steak and potato kebabs, YUM! As a little sweet joke, they threw in some rice for our ceremony, 'Just in case' 🙂
We also appreciate the gift of a table for our tailgate. We will enjoy some fun with the table later this season -- Thanks Federal Meats!
