Lipari Stone and Garden

2017 UPDATE: It's now been FIVE years working with Dan in my gardens and I have little to add to my previous review of his great work. He was at my house last week edging my gardens and as always found time at the end of a long day to go the extra mile and climb onto my roof to blow off all the latest tree debris and check the gutter guards (installed 3 years ago by him and going strong!). I have worked with a variety of landscapers and landscaping companies and Dan not only does excellent work but his prices are very fair and within my budget. I look forward to continuing to work with him!

For the last four years, Dan Lipari/No Man Services has completed a range of jobs at my house, including mulching, pruning, edging, planting, installing new gardens, stone walls, stone foundation, stairs and pathway, shed construction, drainage installation/improvement, re-gravelling the driveway and re-grading the carport, and I'm probably forgetting a few things! I couldn't be more pleased with everything he has done. He is very reliable and skilled, resourceful, thoughtful and a pleasure to work with. Neighbors and others stop by and ask me who did my driveway/stone walls/shed/stone paths and the answer is always "Dan Lipari" ! I recommend him very highly.

Daniel Lipari of No Man Services has done a wonderful job of landscaping around my house. There was a lot of vegetation growing up close to the house which he removed, mulched and made new gardens for me around the house. He also uncovered a flagstone walkway, built new steps in the front. The ones that were there were not safe and needed to be replaced. He also cleaned the gutters and planted some deer resistant plants in the front. He always has great suggestions and works within my budget. He is reliable, honest and shows up when he says he will. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him. You will be happy with his work.

Daniel Lipari completed several projects for us. First he repaired a serious erosion and drainage problem in our backyard. for many years we had a wet basement due to run off from the hill above us. He installed a drainage system and since then we have had almost no water entering the cellar even after snowmelt and heavy rain. We are delighted with how well the system works.

Our asphalt driveway had major potholes. As a temporary solution before we considered a complete repaving job Daniel filled the holes with gravel. The gravel stayed put even after a season of snowplowing, as he assured us it would. We will install a complete gravel driveway instead of asphalt.

Finally, Daniel completed some landscape and garden work for us. He pruned all of our trees and shrubs and designed and installed a shade garden with perennials. Daniel knows what he is doing with garden plants.

We are quite pleased with all of the work Daniel has done for us and will continue to use him for projects in the future.

This is my second year with Lipari Stone and Garden, and I am very happy with my “work in progress”. Daniel essentially has turned a wild and crazy weed infested plot into an area of informal natural beauty. While incorporating the stones I had collected, he planted with the natural habitat as his guide. It gives me joy. What more could I ask?

I highly recommend Dan Lipari as a landscaper, caretaker, and handyman! He is very reliable and trustworthy and has been working for us for almost 5 years.

I would NOT recommend him. He did not give us what we asked for. Left us with an unfinished job. He didn't;t even work full days, except for the last one. Most of the materials he used were free. When we told him we were unhappy he said he would try and make it right but then got to busy with other people and blew us off. He over charged for his services that were mediocre at best! $5400 is outrageous!!!
