Chianti Il Ristorante

The food and service were excellent. The original carpaccio was superb; the octopus was very tough; the filet tips in the risotto were good; the tiramisu was tasty. However, the noise level was uncomfortably high. I believe they added all these tables to fit more people in, but we couldn't hear ourselves talk.

Excellent food, menu is perfect for the geographical location of Italy they are replicating, which I might say they do very well. Small place, but they really work hard to get you in quick, use the reservation system, they got us in with 5 minutes or our time. Service is excellent and food was amazing, kitchen is upfront, which is actually better than you think. The staff works hard and seem to have a wonderful attitude. This place is wonderful, Kudos to DZ Restaurants very nice work!

We had our firm holiday party last night and from the very beginning working with Carina they went above and beyond for us. Carina was very responsive and accommodating to our 14 person group. We had the semi-private space near the bar and all had an absolutely fantastic time. We all enjoyed the oval shape of the table so everyone can see and talk with each other, along with having our own private section.

John, our server was incredible. He went above and beyond for our group constantly and was extremely personable. We had appetizers, salad, entrees and dessert, drinks and everything was phenomenal! The only reason I am giving the food 4 stars is because I did have a few bones in my salmon and told the young woman bussing our tables packaging up leftovers and unfortunately she didn't react the way I would have hoped. Other than that interaction everything else was great. I highly recommend having your next work group gathering here.

We were in town for my nephew's wedding and had been to an hors d'oeuvres reception earlier in the evening. I had fallen in love with Chianti's menu (so many carpaccios and risottos!) so we ate lightly at the buffet to leave room for dinner. We were seated as requested in the small outside patio. Everyone who came to our table was friendly, knowlegble, and helpful. All questions were thoughtfully and personally answered.

We shared a large Del Chianti Carpaccio and all agreed that it was the best we'd ever eaten - so buttery and rich; the quality of the meat shown through with no extraneous items littering the plate. Both husband and son got pastas and raved over the sauces. I had the Magretto All’ Amarena - done just right and the cherries were delicious. Regretfully we did not have room for a risotto or dessert, and more regretfully it's unlikely we'll ever be back that way.

What a truly pleasant experience, would definitely recommend the penne vodka. We sat at the bar and were helped by a lovely woman with purple hair. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly & the atmosphere was very nice!

We drive all the way from Syracuse several times a year for this authentic Italian (not Sicilian) menu. Service is always amazing and food is perfection! Chef's kisses all around!

We decided to come here to celebrate my boyfriends birthday while on vacation from NJ because we really wanted to have a nice, fine dining experience and it was everything and more!

We originally booked an 8:45pm reservation (because that's all they had left), but our table wasn't ready when we arrived 5 minutes early so we waited around a while and they decided to offer us seating at the bar around 9pm because they close at 10pm and they didn't want to rush us to eat. We were a little disappointed because we wanted to have a nice romantic table for 2 for this special night, but we settled for the bar. They were very apologetic and after the bartender said that he wouldn't mind coming in and out of the bar to serve us if we moved to a high top table nearby because they were short staffed, we did just that. Everyone was so accommodating, friendly/ sweet, helpful and made us feel very special. We were extremely thankful and gracious for everyone's hospitality.

The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered a bottle of red chianti (they have a very large wine menu of all prices which was fantastic), a carpaccio appetizer that had gorgonzola and truffle oil and 2 duck entrees which were both amazing. The duck had a black cherry reduction that paired perfectly with both the duck and vegetables. Because it was my boyfriends birthday they brought out 2 huge Nutella cannoli's with a candle (that was to die for and needs to be on the menu permanently) and we also ordered chocolate covered profiterols filled with a light, not too sweet cream and some espressos. We had no complaints whatsoever. They were nice enough to give us all desserts and espressos free of charge as an apology for waiting, which we greatly appreciated.

The ambiance of Chianti was very romantic, upscale and definitely on the fancier side, which we loved. Again, we had a great time and loved every part of our new dinner experience! The hostess was helpful and sweet and our bartender/ waiter was super great and conversational and outgoing. If you're looking to go out to eat at a delicious Italian restaurant with a fine dining feel, in a very cute and quaint town, Chianti is highly recommended! If we are ever in the area, we would come back.

A great happy hour with four wines to choose from each $6.00. The calamari $11.00 cooked to perfection. We also shared the Bolognese $11.00. Comes with fresh baked bread.

Intimate dining with great food. After ordering drinks, bread was delivered and a waiter poured Olive oil into each person's plate versus a central plate. I appreciated this because I was able to add cracked pepper to mine, which my wife doesn't care like. Appetizers were Calamaretti Fritti and Carpacci Del Chianti, both were excellent.

For dinner, I had the Oso bucco and it was falling off the bone tender. The Risotto De'Medici was not as exciting. We were so full from dinner that we did not order dessert.

Overall 9.5/10..I go out to eat all the time and this place was just different. Josh the barteneder was 10/10 very helpful and just welcoming. Food was great from the apps to the desert. Would highly recommend stopping in and trying it out. Prices are very fair and the food quality is as high as iv’e seen.

I came here for a work gathering, we had about 34 people. The service was fantastic and they stayed on top of things. The food was great, probably the best bruschetta I've ever had. The only small downside is that it was very cramped in the room they put us in, but I imagine it was probably the largest space they had to accommodate us. All in all a good experience!

Tonight was the first time I had even been to Chianti's and from the reviews, it did not disappoint. I had a reservation for 7pm and I arrived 5 minutes early and the hostess sat us immediately. I was suprising to see the kitchen staff cooking right in front of us as we walked in. The ambiance was vibrant yet soft. The staff was phenomenal and very Knowledgeable of the menu. I had the Filet Rizzoto and she had the Pork Osso Bucco. The meals were very well prepared and plated. The beverages were just as good she had the Raspberry Lemondrop Martini and I had the Cityscape. Must go Restaurant for romantic Date Nights or Anniversaries.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Happy Hour as drinks & servers were top notch & dinner was the same. Appetizer & main course were delicious and we couldn't have enjoyed EVERYTHING any more!
Also, it was Skidmore College parents' weekend & the staff was amazing at taking care of all of us!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Authentic, delicious Italian. Pleasant professional service. Cozy ambiance. We get to Saratoga a few times a year and Chianti is first on our list of places to dine. Every time.

Oh my god absolutely excellent service. My servers name was John. He was such a nice guy the respect was all there from this man. And the food!! Oh my some of the best Italian food I’ve had. And this is coming from an Italian who’s grandma and mama has always been stuffing me with their yummy food. Meatballs almost as good as my Ma’s and their veal chop was incredible. Made a reservation for Valentine's day, thinking it'd be a mess of an evening with everyone eating out- dinner went as smooth as if it was any other night of the year. I had the mushroom fettuccine- amazing! And the drinks were delicious.

Great food! Love the carpaccio and calamari here, and the short rib was fabulous!
