I hired American builders and remodeling to renovate my kitchen and make an open floor plan into the living room. The kitchen looks fantastic! Mike is a perfectionist in all that he does and pays attention to detail. I felt confident with all his subcontractors. They were polite, professional and did an excellent job. I love the kitchen. It’s just what I envisioned. Mike is so easy to talk to and always answered my calls or text immediately. Always gave a heads up along the way. Was always neat, used mats, plastic and always cleaned up each day. Also had a gas insert installed in my wood fireplace. Mike covered the old brick and made a beautiful mantle. It looks amazing. Certainly the focal point of the living room. Thank you Mike for making my dream come true! You made it happen. This project was a wonderful experience! I would highly recommend you and use you again.

We used Mike on two projects. The first was a small siding job on our porch upgrade. The second was a major bathroom upgrade. The first thing about Mike is his polite and congenial nature. Communication with him was a pleasant experience. When I called, he would often answer right away or soon called back. Texting back and forth was frequent and timely.

On the work side, he was neat and always cleaned up at the end of the day. He used floor mats and blankets along with floor to ceiling plastic. Mike is an excellent carpenter and very meticulous about his work. For areas that he lacks expertise, such as plumbing & electrical, he has proven sub-contractors to support the project.

All and all, I rate Mike Cabbage an A1 and will recommend him to others.

American Building & Remodeling completed several projects for my wife and I over the years, from a new bathroom, roof, windows, siding, to a beautiful big, attached shed. Mike and his team redesigned our bathroom from the studs in; they did an amazing job. Mike continuously updated us on the project, suggested great ideas along the way, which we took advantage of and benefited from. Mike also modified certain aspects on the fly to fully satisfy the overall look of the job. Mike has the highest levels of integrity and his attention to detail is absolutely incredible. Recently, he built a large, 33’ x 13’ shed for us. The craftsmanship is top notch by far, super heavy-duty construction using the best, most durable highest quality supplies. We hired American Building and Remodeling to build an attached two-car garage and breezeway addition a few years ago. After the beautiful job Mike and his crew did transforming our home, I hired them again this past year to remodel our bathroom and kitchen. Mike has an excellent attention to detail and quality to ensure the job is done right. Mike also ensures that each of his subcontractors provides quality and professionalism so I’m confident the job is always in good hands. Our new bathroom with floor-to-ceiling tiles is a masterpiece, and they even straightened our old, sagging walls first so that all the tiles would look perfectly straight. In our kitchen, we have a gorgeous custom built kitchen island with painted cabinetry and all the newest charging/ connectivity bells and whistles. And every time I enter my house I still fall in love with my beautiful Saltillo tile floor they installed in our addition a few years ago. We highly recommend American Building and Remodeling.

Michael replaced 9 Andersen windows on the front of my home and repaired a large Bay Window on the rear of the house.
The installations were precise and look terrific.

Had deck extended 6 feet to our above ground pool. Mike and his partner did a fantastic job. The deck looks fabulous. He communicated with me through every step of the process. I highly recommend him if you need work done.
