Food was delicious and service excellent! We enjoyed chicken parm, eggplant parm, scallops and shrimp fra diavalo. We ordered 3 desserts to share, chocolate decadence, key lime pie, and chocolate cake all scrumptious! Will come back again! Soo good!

An absolute gem of a place! I got the Shrimps & Scallops Marinara and it was easily one of the best I've ever had. A touch spicy but not overpowering. The linguine soaked up the sauce perfectly. I ate all the scallops and knew I had to take the rest home because it was a huge portion. Lightly heated the next day with the shrimp and it was still perfection! Only thing is, my salad was drenched in the dressing. IMO next time def dressing on the side. The blue cheese in the house dressing was delicious. We drove almost an hour and would def do it again! Btw the fresh bread with herbs butter was fresh and delicious!

Always a delicious meal at Pennell’s. Unfortunately tonight we were sat next to a bachelor party. We definitely understand that it was a celebration and we did not want to ruin it or complain. However, the staff was amazingly accommodating. We were three people of an age where it’s a little difficult to hear even in a quiet environment. The staff was incredibly understanding and moved us after the second course to a table where we were able to converse comfortably. We were definitely not made to feel as if we had made a stink. I want to stress nothing like this is ever happened to us there before, and the staff handled it Incredibly well. Kudos to the staff and their attention to hospitality.

My go to spot for my Birthday. Companion had the Lemon Haddock. I had the Shrimp Genoase includes side salad. Never disappoints, plus I have leftover for tomorrow.

Christina was our waitress. She was phenomenal. She had so many tables, and we were just in awe of how she handled everybody. Exceptional service.

In Saratoga for a wedding from New York and went to a rehearsal dinner and Lori was our server and what a time we had food was outstanding. Everything was so great. Lori was such a great server and a great help and the beautiful atmosphere. I recommend this place to anyone.

A wonderful place I had not been to in many years and was glad to be in town for a post-graduation family celebration. All of the food was incredible and the service fantastic! Enjoyed an excellent veal parm!

Between the house salad dressing to the best lasagna I’ve ever had in my life, I cannot recommend this place enough. My parents just bought a house in Saratoga and couldn’t stop talking about this wonderful Italian place they found and said I had to try it the next time I came up and I’m so happy I did. Their tomato sauce is absolutely delicious and their wait staff is so sweet and welcoming. Every person that comes upstate with me now has the pleasure of trying out this new staple in our family. Pennell’s is truly a gem and Saratoga is so lucky to have them!

I was celebrating my wedding anniversary and asked in the Neighborhood app for recommendations. There were no less than a dozen recommendations for Pennells. Hands down, they were right! We had the Clams Bianco appetizer. The clam sauce was so delicious that we had them pack it up, and we poured it over spaghetti the next day. I had the shrimp genoase as an entrée. It was cooked perfectly! My husband had the veal. The servings were generous. We had enough for leftovers the next day. We will definitely be returning to Pennells!

Wow this hidden gem in Saratoga is hands down amazing!!!! The staff, food, and wine are all off the hook fantastic! Just stop what you are doing and go there.

Always consistent. Giuliana was fantastic. Friendly, and attentive. Clams Blanco is maybe the best thing ever. Drinks were great. Keep it up.

Love the food, the pasta and fresh ingredients, the fish and shrimp are always cooked perfectly, the service is very attentive and friendly, the atmosphere needs a little neutralization, getting away from the murals, carpets and oak furniture. Overall it cannot be beat!

Little old school hole in the wall. Was just in town for the horse races and I stumbled upon this place. The portions are MASSIVE and worth your money for sure. Incredibly delicious. It’s what you expect from a 101 year old Italian joint. Nothing fancy, but just quality food and amazing service. Dan the bartender was awesome. Shoutout from south shore MA!

**Best in Class**. My favorite restaurant in Saratoga. Phenomenal food. A go-to for a century for locals, horse owners, jockeys and the summer crowds. Best steak in town! Lasagna is a must as well as the shrimp and feta scampi on toast. Bruce is the owner and one of the best guys you will ever meet!
