Flores Family Restaurant

The first thing I noticed was how incredibly clean this restaurant was. The staff was very friendly. The food was stellar! Chicken tacos (the chicken was roasted, very moist) Carne asada tacos (meat was medium, great).
I believe they make the tortillas in-house.
Honestly, they're the best tacos I've ever had!
Sweet fried plantains were amazing! Idk what the dip was that came with them, but it was so good!
Not sure of the name (Big round thingys with delicious stuff inside. )Again, it's delicious.
Churros: great! Fresh! Hot!

If you're in the area do yourself a favor and stop in!

Haven't eaten here in a very long time. A dear friend loves pupusas and I thought I know just the place! The staff were lovely, greeting upon arrival. Restaurant is clean (the smell was a little overwhelming). We had chips and pico de Gallo that was so fresh! We each ordered entrees, chicken and steak fajitas and steak with shrimp scampi and of course pupusas (refried beans & cheese) that came with a slaw and sauce. I love how Latin cuisine comes with a scattering of French fries! The food was as fabulous as I remembered. I did look for this wonderful appetizer that they had called a Peruvian tostada. Not available any longer but everything was wonderful!

If you want home-made food without having the task of doing it yourself at home or paying a high price in a restaurant, look no further. This is REAL food that leaves you full in a good way. No additives, all natural spices. The way our meals should always be cooked!
My personal recommendation is the half chicken dinner with rice & beans as sides :D

OmG I haven't had authentic Spanish food since I moved to Schenectady! This place is my new favorite! The food was absolutely delicious! Sooo fresh and perfectly seasoned! Everything was cooked to perfection! Not to mention the huge portions! Filled up on just half of my meal! Everyone that works there is so sweet and welcoming! Delicious food, top notch service, and reasonable prices! Who could ask for more! Definitely my new go to!

The food was delicious, and reminded me of my time in Puerto Rico. Felt like home. Great music and food. Parking was difficult to find (I missed the sign the first pass-by), but once in, it was wonderful. Drove all the way from Elmira, NY to share a birthday lunch with family.

3rd time I've been here for lunch. Great food. Messed up one of our party's orders but the owner corrected it. Haven't been let down with good eats or service at this place. Highly recommended.

pupusas are a 10/10. the repollo is so good and tasted fresh. was going crazy looking for some pupusas near me and drove out here and did not regret. the place is also really cute inside. definitely recommend!

Ordered Take out. Veggie Burrito was delicious, rice and beans were amazing. Bean and cheese Pupusa were delicious especially with the sauce that came along. All around no complaints.

Also I asked them to surprise me with their favorite flavor of Jarrito and they left a note on the bottle mentioning it was their favorite. Gave it more of a personal feeling 10/10 would recommend.

I literally have dreams, vivid dreams about their pupusas. That’s all you need to know. If I had one meal left on earth, it would be their pupusas.

Friendly service ,polite ,food was not bad

I ordered from here during the quarantine on a whim looking for something different. I ordered the plantains, rice and beans, and cheese pupusas. Oh man, everything was delicious! I’m so glad a took a chance on this little family restaurant. Huge portions, great prices, and so fresh! I will definitely order from here again.

Salvadoran restaurants are few and far between in upstate new york. A random desperate google search led to an hour long drive to Flores Family Restaurant. We were not disappointed and will be making the drive again in the near future. The prices were good and the food great. We highly recommend the pupusas and the chicken tamales. If Flores restaurant were closer we would be there every week.

I heard good things about this place a few years back. The building isn't the nicest, nor the area, but the food was fantastic. The service was good.

I'm no expert on Peruvian food - but there was not one thing I had that I wouldn't eat again. I went with a friend that is more in tune with this food (living in LI and working in Manhattan) - and he said he is definitely going back with his wife who is Brazilian - so I take it they hit a spot with him.

The Enchilada's were excellent - although a little different from what I am used to. Some people use bland to describe this place, but it just wasn't spicy like most "Mexican" joints. A lot of things had a sweet peppery taste rather than the spicy hot. I didn't think it was bland at all, it really just excited a different part of the palate.

Don't expect world class service or dining experience - this is a local joint serving great food at great prices. Warning though: the food looks much smaller in the pictures on the menu. We ordered a good variety of food and it filled the whole table. Even the appetizers were of good portion.

I am giving it 5 stars based on the food alone.

Love the food! The staff were very helpful in explaining the menu...we had a vegetarian in the group. Have already scheduled our next visit!

Great restaurant. Clean dining area. The staff is friendly and courteous. Children friendly establishment. The food is great and they do take out and are on delivery apps. The wait isn't too long either. Definitely recommend eating here. Plenty of parking and located along bus line. I will come again.

Very good South American style cuisine. I ordered grilled chicken breast, rice and beans, and tostones. Everything tasted great and was cooked fresh. This reminds me of a to go restaurant you would see in Ecuador or Peru. The portion size is great, and could be two meals for an average person. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very laid back, so it will take some time to get your food. The food was well worth the wait. I will be back.
