Duo Modern Japanese Cuisine & Hibachi

Everything was amazing. My family and I really enjoyed ourselves. Rich, one of the waiters, kept everyone happy. Nellie, the bartender, helped us when my sister wasn't feeling well. She was phenomenal. The whole staff was great. Thanks again for everything.

I love going to Duo they have outstanding items you won’t find at other Hibachi and sushi restaurants locally. It is Japanese hibachi and sushi and they also have some great Chinese and Thai dishes. Always a good time!

As I was passing by, I decided to go in and was surprised to see how spacious it was and how modern the decor was. The Out of Control roll and the Angry Dragon roll were chosen. I was delighted to find them delicious and highly recommend them. The menu is well designed and offers a variety of choices. Also, the bartender service was very good and the bartenders were very friendly. There is no doubt that I will visit this restaurant again the next time I visit Saratoga.

I've come to saratoga for two weeks and have had either lunch or dinner every day since I've been here! Absolutely extraordinary food, presentation and drinks. The staff are wonderful... friendly, attentive and work hard to make their patrons happy! I've never had better Japanese in my life!
Lastly... the vibe is fun and cool! Highly recommend this restaurant for your Japanese cravings! You'll find no better in the area!

Had lunch the other day and it was phenomenal! Great dood, great service, beautiful restaurant. They were also very helpful with special requests. We ordered california roll, AAC roll, fried rice, lemongrass soup, green tea, and chicken pad thai. Everything was delicious! Parking was a bit confusing as can be with Saratoga. Its in the back. I will definitely be coming again.

Had a great dinner here yesterday! The rock shrimp was incredible and the drinks and sushi were perfect too! It was my first time here and I was so pleasantly surprised by how great everything was! They also brought me fried ice cream with a candle for my birthday, so sweet

Delicious sushi rolls and very pleasant staff. Went for 4 sushi rolls and a Japanese fried rice with beef this time. Great value as well

We have been her a few times in the last month. Very entertaining for the whole family, food is literally delicious all around. Picture worthy sushi and drinks. My daughters favorite place.

The food, service and atmosphere are all wonderful. Large portions as well with an authentic, entertaining chef.

We sat at a regular table, the food was still amazing. The server was helpful and pleasant. The hand rolls were delicious and the specialty rolls were even better.

Went to celebrate son-in-law's birthday. Food was excellent. Service was exceptional. Will go back soon.

The people are super nice they are really nice and funny, and the food is really good (especially the hibachi), but the food is really salty so I would recommend getting water. Other than that I love it

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and feels very comfortable. The sushi is very fresh. This is what I always focus on every time I choose to focus. The service attitude is very good. is my favorite restaurant

Love Duo. A great spot for diner drinks or hibachi. The staff is always freindly and helpful . The Sushi is always fresh and delicious. If youre visiting saratoga springs and looking for sushi near me durring track season. This is a hidden gem!

We had a great dining experience on 05/27/23. There was a very kind young man, named James who took our order. He was very polite and attentive. Our chef prepared our two hibachi meals with great skill and precision. He was friendly and was entertaining to watch. The portion sizes were so enormous, we couldn't finish even half of it. Dinner for tonight! While pondering the star-level of this review, I considered giving one star less for the other chef serving other tables. We've been to enough of these establishments to realize there is an entertainment aspect to this. Chefs will often throw food in the air, so patrons catch it in their mouths, or they would squirt saki into the mouths of people to see how much they can consume. During these "saki events", the other chef was so loud, everyone in the room, including all the non-participants, had to stop their conversations because they could not be heard over his voice. I realize this is part of the show, but he was a bit over the top. I almost subtracted a star for this, but then realized the chef was being enthusiastic and trying to entertain his guests. In the future, I would suggest that he lower the volume a few decibels, so EVERYONE in the room can enjoy a nice meal.

The food here was very good. I like that they do noodles AND rice. Steak was perfect too! Our hibachi chef was hilarious, we enjoyed it! Unfortunately my phone died but I will say even after eating until I was full, not all of my leftovers fit in one box!

Amazing HH specials, even more amazing food and service. Been there 3 times in 4 days... and I cant get enough. Jim is the best host...
