Great sushi. Super fresh, and served at perfect temperature. You have to wait a little bit because there's only one sushi chef. Hes killer though. Bartenders and waitresses all polite and very nice. Cool bar area. Food from the kitchen smelled and looked divine.

Great spot in downtown Schenectady for drinks and food. Stop by and enjoy a mojito.

Sushi menu is awesome and they can cater to those who have gluten allergies.

Food was delicious, wait staff courteous, and establishment very clean.

Is definitely visit here again.

Great bartenders and fantastic Asian food, from the Sushi to the Hibachi and everything in between. Not a bad meal on the menu. Really am looking forward to returning

Best sushi I've ever had in my life, hands down. The fish is fresh and prepared with passion, which is apparent when you watch the chef prepare the food. Lauren was our server and she was an absolute pleasure. I look forward to coming back again soon!

If you're a cocktail kinda gal I would suggest a Cosmopolitan, then the Apple-tini, then the Flirt-tini, and last try Lemon Drop! I had all four and it was delish!

For my main dish I ordered the classic Sesame Chicken with Brown Rice. It also came with a serving of broccoli.

After having this you won't want to eat at your classic neighborhood chinese spot. I definitely will visit again.

It’s our third time eating at Zen, and it’s just as amazing as the first two times! Started out with the Seaweed Salad and Harumaki. Delicious and fresh! Shared with my hubby, the Salt and Pepper Shrimp entree and the Assemblyman Roll. Also, super delicious and fresh! I also recommend the Downtown Mojio!

I came here on a Friday night for a quick bite. There is a dining area, sushi bar and a full service bar. I sat at the full service bar and ordered a Sapporo and spicy tuna roll. Very good quality sushi! Definitely a busy place on a Friday night and they have some great happy hour specials! I was incredibly impressed with the bartender's service. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. On my way to the bathroom I saw a sign about their endless sushi and mimosas on Sunday's (brunch hours). I can't wait to come back for that!

Edited: I went back on Sunday for the brunch with my mom and we both had a great time! You can get any 2 maki rolls at a time and they keep refilling the mimosas! Our greeter and server were fantastic. I highly recommend Zen.

Very relaxing atmosphere. Delicious delights and a wonderful staff. Many choices of rolls and a nice drink selection. Great for a casual or business meeting.

The perfect lunch and happy hour spot! The bento box is one of the best bang for you bucks you'll find in Schenectady and it's my go to place for work lunches. They have great cocktails and it's also a wonderful spot for happy hour with friends.

Came here for a quick lunch one day and I was surprised by the amount of food we got for the price. Everything in the bento box was tasty and I will definitely be back when I'm in the area!

Great atmosphere and service, with even better food. I got the sashimi deluxe (which honestly should have been enough for two). Fantastic! Really nice selection of desserts here as well, and a full bar (though I don't drink, so no comment). Excellent choice for a date night.

I had the zen "house roll" and miso soup which were both fantastic. Subtle use of sesame was perfect for the roll. The presentation was clean, and pleasing to the eye.

I would say if you wanted quality sushi but a relaxed environment, this is the place. It can be a very nice date night or a relaxed meal and drinks. Bar adds a great ambiance.

Came here for dinner on a whim while on a road trip, and ended up having one of the best sushi dinners I've had in a long time. Every plate was quite attractively plated and tasted great. It also helped that the waitress was kind and was very patient with any questions we had. My friend and I split two specialty rolls, which was enough food for us. I recommend the Tuna Lover, as it had a nice combination of crunchy and smooth texture wise, and the fish itself was good.

My favorite sushi spot in Schenectady! Love the crunchy jalapeno roll. The food is always consistent and there's so many options!
