We’ve become regulars here now and for a great reason. Do yourself a favor and go during week when advertised and try the 4 course for $30, cannot be beat and of course if you’re a Martini lover Thursday is your day. Check out their facebook for all the specials. It’s a must.

Great restaurant right next to Proctors Theatre. Went here before the show. Sat in back room which is much quieter than the front with the bar. Ask for back room if you want quiet. Service was excellent and staff efficient and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their cocktails, wine and entrees. Yummy, crusty bread too. Pictures are veal parm, veal medallions and chicken cattchitore. Highly recommend.

The food is great! It is difficult to find truly tasty food in the capital region but Grano is great. We came here to scout a birthday party location and were impressed with food drinks and vine. They have a nice banquet room for up to 40 people and we had a great time. Our sever Gill was wonderful. You need to communicate with Karen about scheduling party and that is difficult: she doesn’t know much about the restaurant, but if you press her to ask and speak to servers who know restaurant you will have a great party. Best: Italian nachos.

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our meal here! The pasta nachos were absolutely delicious. The home made bread I could eat it all day with the home made butter. Delicious home made salad dressings along with home made pasta too. Server was delightful!

We told our waitress we were going to the theater so she kept us on time. Food was terrific. We had risotto Florentine and pasta Ragu, Grano pasta

Fave spot! The menu has so many phenom choices id have to go back every week for months to try them all. Portions are fantastic and leave you full! Bread is fresh and hot. The meal is paced properly and we actually had time to pause between courses, they don’t rush you and just throw food at you. Everything was prepared perfectly and warm. Highly recommended!

First time here, attending a special event with about 40 family members and everything was great. The service staff were professional, polite, friendly, attentive and accommodated the few extra requests we had. The buffet included salmon, salad, eggplant parm, sausage and peppers, green beans, chicken and pasta....all were really delicious, especially the Utica Greens. Overall, everyone was very pleased with the experience at "grano".
I highly recommend giving it a try!

This place was the best!!! Frank at the door was fantastic! We had Ari as our server. I couldn’t believe how amazing everything was from the drinks to the food and the timing! We had plenty of time to make our show and had a great time with the staff! I’d highly recommend and will be back!!!!

Great food, Waitress was a bit overwhelmed. Took 42 minutes to get 2 drinks. Aside from that I would highly recommend this place!

What a wonderful place. Grano has a four-course meal for $25 and is more than worth it. The food is delicious, the wait staff is friendly and attentive, the environment is cool, and did I mention that the food was delicious? Because it really needs to be mentioned again.

Tonight I started with the mussels as my appetizer in a delicious garlic cream sauce. Then I moved on to the tomato bisque which was a tiny bit chunky and all the right ways. For my pasta dish I had the rigatoni with spinach and portobello mushrooms and a garlic cream sauce, and it really blew me away. One of the best pasta dishes I've had in a long time in fact. My main course was a chicken alfredo which was a deliciously breaded, perfectly cooked, chicken breast, with artichokes in Alfredo sauce. Wonderful! Finally for dessert I had a pretty darn yummy cannoli.

I visit this restaurant everytime I am in town for work. It has high quality foods and staff are super nice. The atmosphere is good and price is very reasonable for the quality and portion of food.

Staff was fantastic.I was first one in the door all excited to see Lion King..I asked if first one in the door got a free drink...the host laughed and told me what table our group reserved but said I should wait for the others at the bar and have fun. sadly no free drink but reasonably priced . We are defined going again.

A real gem!! Lovely ambiance with open air seating, creative menu with a variety of choices, deliciously tasty food and impeccable service. Just re-opened post Covid and it's important we support these local businesses and their staff!! I was particularly impressed with Chareece (spelling) who was amazing at her job and took such great care of us. Her service was top notch, her recommendations were on point and she was an absolute peach! She even personally hand stuffed bleu cheese olives for my martini. Couldn't have asked for a better overall dining experience....go support them, order take-out or dine in. And tip big if you can! Oh, PS-- they make all the pasta in house....💣💥🙌

Tried Grano for Schenectady restaurant week. First I must say the music was a pleasant surprise. The playlist was a wonderful combination of various R&B songs. I was in my glory. Our server Cat was friendly and attentive - absolutely awesome. The food?? Everything we got had actual flavor.

My favorite restaurant in Schenectady. The food is exceptional. The service is either incredible or unreliable; there is no in-between.

One of the best dinning experience I've had in a long time! Reservations made, requested pasta room . Maitre d' seated us as requested. Our waiter was spot on , very attentive and professional. Even the bus boy was excellent. Appetizer, Bread, Entrees, Dessert are made on premise. All were superb, our different Veal dishes were so tender could cut with a fork. With a extensive selection of wine list there is something for everyone. They even made my wife a white sangria (special request). All and all we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. 10 out of 10 in my book. Thank you.

We loved our grano experience. Frank & Vicky were so warm and welcoming. Vicky’s service was stellar & the food was insane! Their red sauce is absolutely amazing. I had the chicken sorrento special & my husband has the 3 cheese veal. Both were exceptional!!!

It was a great time to be able to get out and go to one of my favorite places to eat an awesome dinner. Great atmosphere with everything going on this year (2020) the service was great as always. I would recommend Grono to anyone looking for an awesome dinner.

My new favorite date night spot. Great food that is fresh. The bread they being to the table is to die for. My husband's crab mash potatoes were sinful
