Bistro 1907 by Mark CANZONETTA

I’ve been following Bistro 1907 on Instagram for the longest time and have been begging my husband to take me. He finally made reservations for this evening and it was the most perfect date night! It’s a beautifully decorated restaurant, the service is spectacular and the food is absolutely delicious. Not only is the food delicious, but the presentation is on point! We will be back- probably once a week!

my boyfriend and i tried this place on a whim last minute and i have to say by far this was the best experience i’ve ever had! we had Jessica as our server and she was so helpful on what we should order! she gave us loads of recommended dishes and every single dish we ordered from appetizer to dessert was delicious!! i forgot to take pics of all the dishes we ordered but i did manage to get one, the crab cake… shortly after that we devoured every dish the second they got to the table!

Wow! In town for a concert and needed a place for dinner. Bistro 1907 did not disappoint! Our server Jessica was the best: very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of how the dishes were prepared. The Faroe Salmon was exceptional and my husband said the Pimento cheese burger was one of the best he has had. Definitely enjoyed the preparation of the calamari. Will be back again to try the peppers and bread!

What a great spot! Bar tender made some awesome drinks. Lela was our server and was attentive and knowledgeable and took great care of us. The espresso martini and the 1907 (a riff on an old fashioned) were fantastic. The bone broth french onion soup was amazing. We'd definitely come back to the hotel just for the restaurant.

I really enjoyed my meal here. The food and drinks were very good, and the bartender was uber friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I loved the feel of the space, including a great bar and patio area.

Located on the ground floor of the downtown Youngstown, OH Doubletree, Bistro 1907 never disappoints! Tonight started with the butternut squash soup topped w/ roasted pistachio and dried pomegranate. Entree was Korean Beef Bulgogi Short Rib. I stay here often for business, this restaurant would be a top spot in ANY major city in America. Check em out!

What a great meal. Had the jambalaya and grilled chicken, Caesar salad. Had an appetizer of the shrimp that was actually fantastic. This place is a must go to if you’re in downtown Youngstown

On a recent visit to Youngstown, my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised by the culinary excellence of Bistro 1907 by Mark Canzonetta. This charming eatery, nestled within the DoubleTree by Hilton, harmoniously fuses the city's historic essence with an elevated dining experience. Our first encounter was an exploration of unique flavors: I chose the refreshing Crispy Shrimp Salad, adorned with an enticing Green Goddess dressing, while my boyfriend was drawn to the Truffle Ribeye, cooked to perfection and topped with an egg. This initial experience was accentuated by the restaurant's tasteful lighting, which cast a flattering glow, accentuating my boyfriend's muscular features and making him look particularly handsome.
The second night was another memorable experience, this time further enhanced by the delightful service of Amber. Her radiant smile and meticulous attention to our needs transformed our dinner into an extraordinary event. I decided to try the Burger, an expert blend of brisket, chuck, and other premium cuts of steak, and chose to have it well-done. To my delight, despite being cooked thoroughly, it remained impressively juicy and packed with flavor. My boyfriend, continuing his culinary exploration, relished the traditional Fish and Chips.
Our dinner was brought to a fitting close with a decadent Chocolate Gooey Butter Cake, coupled with a Salted Caramel Ice Cream - a delightful conclusion to our dining journey. The man behind these exceptional dishes, Chef Alan, deserves special commendation for his remarkable skills and creativity in the kitchen. What's more, for those of us accustomed to big city prices like in Chicago, Bistro 1907 offers an affordable haven of quality cuisine, fantastic service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The memories of the delectable food, the romantic glow of the lights, and Amber's inviting service, make us eagerly anticipate our next trip to Youngstown, with Bistro 1907 certainly on our itinerary.

My son and I are driving cross country and our first stop was Youngstown, OH. How lucky for us to have found this gem. From the apps of wings and Arancini balls to the burger, and Buckey Cheesecake. OMG!!!! I would eat here weekly if I lived there. Hats off to Amber, what a wonderful server who brought a smile to our table. Cheers Amber you were amazing!

Dined here for the first time 2 weeks ago and it was amazing!! We had brunch items, and everything was delicious. Cindi was our server, she was spot on for everything!! Can’t speak enough great things about her. We are back in town this weekend and dined again for brunch. Another outstanding meal and service by Cindi. We highly recommend it. The blueberry pancakes with the vanilla whipped cream are my new favorite breakfast food 😊😊

Fantastic date night spot. The restaurant is beautiful. The food was amazing, from presentation to the last bite. Just kidding, we both had leftovers. Jessica was our server. She was knowledgeable about the menu, funny and super kind. She was very genuine and cared about the place she works. We'll be back for sure.

I just wanted to take a few seconds to recognize my favorite two bartenders, Sarah and Phil. They take such great care of us each time we visit, and make us feel like family. Thanks guys! Not to mention, the food is tasty and the drinks are delicious!

Delicious food, excellent service, all in an exquisite atmosphere. My mother and I have been dining at Bistro 1907 since it opened in 2018. It has become our favorite dining location in the area! We were recently at the restaurant on Dec 22 and had Nancy as our server. She took great care of us! Please pass this praise along to her. Thank you, Bistro 1907!

Had a beautiful time at Bistro 1907 to celebrate my grandmother’s birthday. Our server Cindy went above and beyond. Cindy and the entire staff were top tier. Thank you for making my entire family especially my grandmother feel special ♥

Aundria was my bartender, she was very friendly and personable. I’ve never been past Tennessee and wanted something different. Her recommendation of the Lox Bagel was amazing. Definitely stepped out of my normal with this meal but it. Was definitely worth it and she was so kind and friendly. I will be back in the future!

Oh my goodness! I’ve wanted to try this restaurant for a long time. Today was my birthday and I said let’s go. Jessica was our waitress and she was amazing. She was very helpful with the menu. She took such good care of us! Such a sweet heart! We got salads as our appetizer’s with fries and the French onion soup! So delicious. My husband got a rib eye and I got the fettuccine which WAS SOOO delicious. Because it was my birthday we had the chocolate butter cake with caramel ice-cream! This entire experience was soooo amazing and the food was sooooo good. The menu was soooo big that it took us awhile to see what we wanted (I’m not sure what a previous review was talking about. The dinner menu was front and back with so many items. There was even a weekly special)
For sure deserves a 5*

The only thing that was left out to be mentioned on the website that it was inside the Doubletree by Hilton, and that was little bit confusing since that was my first time in Ohio but overall it was a very beautiful place

Our server Jessica took great care of us! She was able to talk about the dishes on the menu and made great food and wine recommendations! The scallops on the specials menu were amazing!

My family and I ate here on Sept 3 2023 for my mother's 88th birthday! We loved loved loved Cindy, our server!! She was attentive, patient with our big group and kind!! We will definitely return and ask for Cindy!! She took our group pic! ❤❤❤

Food was delicious and service was immaculate. We waited for a bit as the manager told us they were short staffed, so he gave us free drinks. Then he misheard my order so after making it again fresh for me, he took care of the whole bill for us. Honestly immaculate, without the free meal the experience, atmosphere, and food were to die for but he just showed us how they take it above and beyond.
