South Central Park

I fall in love with this place!!! It is wonderful to meet nature while enjoying with the family. Here you can calmly fish a huge lake surrounded by ducks which can NOT be fed, on the other hand a park for children. This place has an exercise area, fishing, exercise, walk, mussels to enjoy in this heat, a basketball and tennis court, it also has a path through which your child can enjoy a story all the way, but you can take your pet so that enjoy this unforgettable park. You will not regret it, you sincerely enjoy yourself and receive an exquisite air.

We go for the water pad and playground. Great place for family fun. Basketball area is usually busy, so is tennis courts.There is a fishing pond also. Clean bathrooms.

I Love to take my Dogs here to walk in off hours when it isn't so crowded. The Dogs Love their walk here and so do I. There is a lot of different landscape views to walk through for such. Small park. The small lake is beautiful as is the forested part of the wall. In the summer it is a great place to bring children as they have a small scale city for the kids, and a water park and play ground. It is also handicap accessible to the pavilions to have a cookout. One of my favorite places to take the dogs for a little walk to wear out energy

The park is very nice. They use shredded rubber instead of wood cheaps. The playground for the children is huge. They have nice tennis and basketball courts. They have a little fishing pond and a splash pad that is for residents only. I am not a resident and we spent over a hour there with our son and he had fun. They also have a walking trail with exercise equipment along the trail. Very nice park

This place is awesome!!! They have fishing pond there. Free kids splash pad. Nice large playground in a shade. Tennis courts. Bocce ball court. Pavilion with grills. Bathrooms. Exercise equipment. Path to walk your dogs. Bunch of Baby Ducks that's come right up to you looking for food but you're not allowed to feed them. Really nice!

Nice peaceful park with a paved track to walk your dog or just yourself. Has a playground for the kids, splash pad in the summer, basketball hoops, tennis court, picnic tables and pavilions. You can also fish in the pond.

Great little park. Scenic with lots of mature trees and a lake. Plenty of shade for hot days. There's 2 covered areas with picnic tables and plenty of benches along the path.

Walking path is pretty flat, paved, good for people who aren't looking for a challenge but want to get out or for little kids riding their various toys. Good playset for the kiddos.

Parking spots are pretty minimal but plenty of cars just parked along the sides of the entryway. Library is across the street.

South Central is a great place for a picnic. Fantastic fun for the whole family. Slash pad, great playground, fishing, and lots of paviloins.

Great place for family nor friends to gather. The surroundings are great for views and just to relax. Recomended park for sure.

My grand kids and I spent 2 hours and had a wonderful time.

This is the go to park in Ridgeville. They have a playground, walking path around a stocked pond and thru some woods, covered picnic areas, exercise equipment, a good size hill to sled down, fishing derbies once a year, they even have a little city that teaches kids the rules of safety! I thinks it’s called Safety Town. They have an area that tells you what events are coming up at the park. One of Ridgevilles little gems.

Cute park and on Wed & Sat they have a dog walk. Went for the 1st time tonight and my dog loved it. You take a walk around the park while we stop along the way teaching your dog commands. I will definitely be going back again. The park is clean and all the people there were enjoying it. Alot of kids but didn't see any nonsense going on.

Nice walking loop trail, they keep it cleared in the winter, too. Great place to take the dog or the kids or just to walk for fitness.

All in one with this park. Park. Trail. Book trail here. Exercise equipment on the other trails offered. Small pond/lake. Splash pad, tennis courts, pavilions, and playground. Great parking. Cute little walking path. Great for walking dogs. Light bike ride, you could possibly use as roller blading, but I can't remember if there aren't signs saying prohibited. Maybe it said it on the playgrounds, but if you have to be told this you lack common sense as that would be hard to navigate with skates on. Anyways. Great place. Family oriented.

Nice little park, has several pavilions with electricity, a walking trail, a pond, a splash pad, a play area for the kids, and decent restrooms. It's a very nice clean park.

The park changed along since I lived in North Ridgeville, but for the better, my dog loves the trail around the water. The only negative side is lots more people, it's not a quiet park.

South Central Park Is An Amazing place! It's Really Nice! I Enjoy Myself Everytime I Visit. I Went There Today To Take My 10 Year Old Son Fishing. The Kids & Teenagers That We're There Today Were Extremely Rude & Loud. They Were Throwing Rocks At The Metal Signs Which Made Loud Noises, And Screaming, Cursing. We Asked Them To Stop And They Just Ignored Us. There Was Also A Vehicle Speeding In The Parking Lot. They Almost Hit My Nephew When He Was Riding His Bike Then Rolled Their Windows Down & Called Him A Pu**y. The Police Should Patrol The Park More. I Don't Want To Sound Like A (Karen) But Some Kids Should Be Accompanied By Their Parents Or Taught How To Behave When There In Public Alone. This Is A Really Nice Park. I'd Hate To See It Destroyed By Kids That Don't Know How To Respect Things. I've Been Coming To South Central Park For Years!! I've Even Thrown Birthday Parties There!!

We absolutely love this park. From the pond where my son loves to catch and release fish, not to mention the huge turtle that lives under the small wooden dock! The splashpad, huge playground, and the covered picnic tables are perfect for cooking out.. And the huge hill that all my kids love rolling down :-p
It's all shaded, and clean! This is our favorite park.
