The Mocha House - Downtown Youngstown

This Cafe and eatery is a cool spot in downtown Youngstown by YNG ST. The pastries are awesome, fresh and delicious! There’s something there for everyone’s sweet tooth. I had the cherry turnover and baklava- wow! The best I’ve ever had without a doubt. I also had the coffee which was smooth to the last drop. The coffee station has some funny signs at it lol. My friends actually ate and loved it. The Cafe has a large indoor seating area and small outdoor seating area. The bathrooms were clean too. Parking available on the street. The staff was friendly, smiling and hardworking. This place was clean, very clean! Loved it!

This was my first visit, and it did not disappoint! They were pretty busy when we went, but the lady was nice when she brought out our food. I ordered a plain cheeseburger, and when she brought it out, she said it is usually served with a pickle spear. She didn’t bring one because she saw that my burger was plain, so she thought I wouldn’t want one (she was correct), but she could go get one for me if I did. I liked the thought she put into that for me! The cheesecake was delicious!

Update: my second visit, my husband and I tried the Oreo and chocolate mousse bars. They were good, but they are soft cake in a hard chocolate shell. If it was soft chocolate, it would have been better, but it was a weird contrast with the soft cake inside.

Very open atmosphere with a professional flare of the bakery and menu. This is a locating for any caffeine/coffee fanatic.

Service is always so nice and the food is great. They have a great variety of foods.

Mocha House is a really nice cafe, very clean and there are a lot of options on their menu. The staff is also friendly and nice to everyone there. A true gem in Youngstown!

The Mocha House Downtown Youngstown is an amazing place! Not only are the employees very nice, but the owners make sure that you were fully satisfied… one of my favorite places to eat….. Thank you Mocha house!

The Mediterranean skillet was great only one little issue if they can also add a Turkey bacon option instead of pork would be great but everything was awesome! Cheese cake was good!

All the food we had was very good. The fries where crispy and fresh, the BLT had a generous portion of bacon, the staff was friendly and attentive. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

I love visiting any mocha house when in Youngstown. Solid Americano, great cakes, and an m&m cookie plus a western omelet. The downtown setup is wide open. I also love that you order and then sit down. Much more efficient than dedicated wait staff.

Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, fair prices. Excellent cheesecake. The roast beef mario melt is my favorite. Not the best espresso based drinks, not always as hot as they should be.

Staff is so friendly and make you feel right at home! Their pick two option is filling and affordable.

Food and coffee is great and often surprising in its inventiveness.
The desserts are of course amazing (scones being an office favorite) and the staff is invested and wonderful.
I have people who only visit biannually ask if we're going to Mocha on every visit.

Ordered on doordash food was outstanding I ate all of it daughter really enjoyed it as well will have to make a trip in person soon everything I had was really good makes me want more

If I could give them 100 stars I would! They hosted my nieces graduation party today and did such an amazing job. Kalli and her entire team was so polite, the food was delicious, and service throughout the entire party was stellar. I would definitely recommend visiting the downtown location for a quick lunch, dinner, or any special event. You won’t regret it ❤
