Mercy Health - Youngstown Dental Care

Just so everyone is aware, this is one of the only dental clinics in the area, accepting Medicaid and other state funded dental "insurances" not to mention it is a TEACHING hospital which means the dentists have passed their state boards but decided to learn even more...yes, they are slower than a dentist who's been practicing for 20 years, anyone would be...did anyone start their jobs immediately fast and know everything instantly...no, your answer is no...and that's why it's called a practice...here's a tip, if you want a dentist who is fast and experienced, get private insurance and you have your pick, otherwise, sit down and let these people help you and be thankful they do because no else sure is...I am positive there are many people getting help from the state that genuinely need it but I bet those aren't the people here acting like they're owed something...lastly, don't forget taxpayers, including the people who work in any clinic that accepts state "insurance" are literally paying for you to basically degrade and insult them...I believe the clinicians and team are actually heroes...treated like garbage yet somehow care enough to keep going...

People need to learn how to be patient, these dentists see hundreds of people a month, I thank God they accept medicade, if not don't know what I would have done, from the start yes you wait a couple hours to be seen and you get an appointment, went in for extractions, nothing but nice and understanding, going out of the way to make sure I wasn't hurting during the procedure, very nice staff and doctor, people need to learn patience and not act so entitled and leave bad reviews plain and simple. As far as pain meds you won't get any from any dentist because of mandates from the government , which to me is wrong

Starting off a bit Rocky, I showed I p passed check in for the walk in appointments I was barely minutes passed.
I came back in the afternoon and was checked in quickly and moved to the other waiting area easily enough.
Their dental staff was some of the most human dentists I have met. They understood the pain I was in and agreed to treat immediately. They were super supportive during since I am a baby with needles and was starting to freak our when they were pulling.
They let me sit as long as I wanted and were kind.
100% best dental experience I've had ever.

Excellent service at the St. Elizabeth Dental Clinic. In August I had 7 teeth removed by Dr. Neil not sure of his last name, but he was outstanding. No pain, no problems the next day I could eat. Three months later. After through consultation and professional services Dr.Awasalla was awesome! I give your team there an A+. Thank you for my beautiful smile.

They are great, have had partials from 2 other places, could never wear them. My full dentures fit perfect. Be prepared, it is a process to get them, but I would do it all again.

Idc care about the wait time as a walk-in..dr. Walsh seen me on a Tuesday as a walk-in took care of me had me back in on thursday..he was so caring, he explained everything, answered all me questions..did 2 extractions so quick n easy..dr.walsh you rock
