VCA Atwood Animal Hospital

I love VCA Atwood! The caregivers are compassionate and patient. They are so great with our three cats! I always have a great experience, no matter what Vets or Techs we see. I am grateful for the wonderful care!

Absolutely love them! I switched to them after being with my old vet for 10 yrs, I relocated and needed a more local one, as well as I was very unhappy with the quality of treatment. I have to say VCA Atwood is amazing. I have yet to have a negative experience and I have a high maintenance senior cat with at least 5 medical issues. They actually diagnosed her with a simple procedure for something her old vet never even suggested! The people I speak to any time she's sick or I have a concern are beyond kind and patient, both the vet techs and the docs take time and listen and explain everything.

I frequent this vet with my dramatic frenchie, Winston, & the staff could not be more amazing. He always receives the best treatment, even for being a 30 lbs piranha. We are part of the VCA family for life!

The best! I wasnt even a patient there but had an emergency with my 6 year old pug. They were great, fast acting, understanding, and simply the best expierence I have had in a while. Kudos to their staff and veterinarians

Super friendly staff that genuinely cares about you and your fuzzy family. Trained medical professionals who not only care about your pet but remember their names and make sure to check in with you about them. I won't take my pets anywhere else unless it's a 1 am emergency!

This vet helped me through a very emotional time with my 14 year old cat. Everyone I spoke with was kind and they took care of her after she passed away. I appreciated the compassion and making a very hard time a bit easier.

Polpetto "Meatball" is always loving on the most awesome staff they have! Everyone is so caring & upbeat, even I leave in a good mood. LOL! I HIGHLY recommend this facility. Docs take their time to explain everything to you. If your on the hunt for a place....THIS facility is THE BEST! My 2 cats Chance & Hazel are patients as well.

We've been taking our pups here for over a year and love them. They give great advice, take excellent care of the puppers, and helped our girl through heartworm treatment this year. Only vet I've ever been to with a dog that's genuinely excited to be there.

The most amazing veterinary staff my wife and I have ever encountered! We recently put down our 12 year old boxer shyanne and it was the most beautiful experience ever. They were so wonderful and provided us with the most peaceful parting possible! The last year or two of her life we're up and down and they did everything possible to extend her life and make her comfortable! Shyanne Loved every staff member at the Atwood animal hospital and it was very clear by the care they provided her with that the feelings were very much mutual! Thank you so much for taking care of my family especially shyanne the last few years making such a difficult time bearable.

Excellent service and super friendly staff

I've only started to take Sally to VCA Atwood after vet Dr. O'Donnell set up practice here. She's a wonderful doctor and the staff working with her have been fantastic!

I just switched vets and had my first visit here with my dog because I was concerned about a few things. They took time explaining everything and providing reasonable costs without making me feel pressured to do anything extra. I booked a follow up because of how kind and informative they were.

Absolutely the best! The vet techs, vets, and reception are the most wonderful and caring people. I have one dog that doesn't like other dogs, so they help to make sure he gets to his room safely. They always clearly communicate my options, what to expect, how different options are priced. I always feel that they put my animals first and are conscientious of my budget. I truly feel they go out of their way to make sure my animals and I are taken care of. I highly recommend them!

I have been taking my 13 year old Chihuahua to VCA Atwood since she was a baby.
My experience with the hospital has always been a pleasant one. Karen, from the front desk, Missy the Manager, Everyone, especially Lola’s favorite vet, Dr. Megan Krauth-Monteiro, all have been so supportive of Lola’s needs. Dr. Monreiro is hands down the most compassionate, dedicated veterinarian. Lola and I just want to say Thank You for all you do to ensure her well being.

I saw Dr. Mahoney for my cat who has an ear issue. It was sort of an urgent situation. The entire staff from front desk to technicians were incredibly helpful and friendly. Dr. Mahoney is a superstar; compassionate, knowledgeable, informative, comprehensive, and savvy.They even allowed me to use a coupon to save some money and sent a follow up text to check on Clover. I also received an email going over everything we discussed, which is excellent because sometimes in the moment of worry you forget things. I feel very lucky to have found such a great facility so close to home. Thank you VCA and most especially Dr. Mahoney! Highly recommended.

Best vet I've met in over 20 years! Very caring, knowledgeable, and understanding. Doesn't try and charge for unnecessary tests, etc. We had an emergency with our 11y.o. diabetic chihuahua and if it weren't for this place and the vet who cared for him, I truly believe he wouldn't have made it! Ill never take him anywhere else! Also good to know their hours are very convenient. From early morning to later evening. Excellent and caring staff!

This place deserves so much recognization. My kitty Athena had been limping for almost 4 days. It was so heartbreaking seeing her like that. Called multiple places and could not get anywhere to take a look at her. They booked me an appointment early the next day. The staff are very friendly and caring. They took really good care of her, Dr.Lauren gave her medicine and 3 hours later she has been feeling much better. She is running around everywhere again and playing just like how she used to. 100% recommend coming here. They do an amazing job and it’s clear they love what they do and care very much for the pets. Big Thank You to Dr. Lauren for taking such good care of Athena and helping her feel much better.
