Hidden gem! We were trying to find a place that didn't have a large wait after the solar eclipse downtown. We eneded up here, never realizing it existed. You have to walk through a small store before entering the restaurant portion. They were busy, but we were able to snag a spot at the bar. Food was great! We will be back.

I love coming here. The place is always busy and everyone is friendly. I come to get the fresh Pico and guacamole from the back by theor restaurant area. The best corn tortillas are here, and if you want to make homemade Carne Asada tacos, get your meat from here. Hands down the best, you can't buy that kind of meat that cooks so good from a grocery store.

The BEST EVER Mexican shrimp cocktail I have ever had! It comes in a large fish bowl goblet in a delightful sauce of tomato juice, onion, avocado, cilantro, and of course cooked shrimp. I always get the large, and I never share it either… It is accompanied by a side of Saltine crackers which pair well with this “entree.” When the weather is nice, make sure to sit outside in the courtyard by the fountain! Usually, I enjoy a strawberry margarita on the rocks or two, but the last time I took my Spanish club students to enjoy the flavors of Mexico and be surrounded by Mexican realia. What fun!

Had a great experience at San Marcos. The food was outstanding, large portions. The wait staff was polite and friendly, and the atmosphere is unique. The prices are very reasonable. No complaints. I will go back again. Hope the weather is good enough to sit on the outdoor patio next time.

This place is amazing. I highly recommend coming here. The wall art is beautiful and the food is more then amazing. I come for lunch and the margaritas are super good. U highly recommend trying the traditional pork tacos!! The guacamole is super fresh. The service is superb. I can't wait to come in the summer to sit outside on the patio. I like that they have a Latino grocery store attached to it with fresh produce and home made bakery iteams. it has alot to choose from with a meat deli in the back and it has great prices.

Amazing place for Mexican food, the atmosphere is so friendly and colourful. The food we had - even for lunch , all just the way it should be with flawless meat and enough of vegetables. These nachos with guacamole and red sauce- something I could eat whole day.

This is peak Mexican food for me. The food is amazing. Every other Mexican restaurant I try around the TOL just makes me want San Marcos. The waiters and waitresses are always great. Atmosphere feels authentic. I recommend this place to anyone when they're looking for Mexican food.

This is an authhentic mexican food resturents. I found the restaurant was very busy which proves it is very popular. I had to wait in the line for long time, but i think it was worth it. I found the food is very dlelcious and testy. I would higly recommend this place. I ordered molcajete mixto, which was huge and it was more than ennough. I was not able to finish and ended up boxed it for take out. I think it was a so big meal for a person, easily two person could be feed. I would highly recommend this place. There are a lot of free parking, so parking would not be a problem.

Was looking for good Mexican food in the area and saw this place recommended highly. I can see why it there was so much hype. The food was absolutely delicious, truly authentic and priced reasonably well. And check out the portion sizes! I posted a pick of their Carnitas plate for $14 and it was enough to feed 2 easily! The salsa also beats out nearly every other Mexican joint I've eaten at, and I've eaten at plenty.

I don't normally like to go to the same place repeatedly, but San Marco's restaurant was so good we went there twice in one weekend! The atmosphere was completely amazing with giant murals all over the walls, unique carved and painted chairs, great music.
The strawberry margaritas were good, but the food was amazing! We absolutely loved the Chile relleno, the tamale, and the enchiladas!!!

My son wanted to go there after his graduation ceremony. He loves the pineapple with all the meats and shrimp. The service was great and everyone in our party were happy.

Tamales are a must....the best! Pork and a cheese make a meal..you will be full and happy. I drove from Bowling Green Ohio and I’m very sure they have the best real Mexican cuisine and margaritas 😊🌺

This has to be some of the best Mexican I have ever had. This is legit and not Tex Mex. I live the fact it is in the back of the grocery store and I wish I lived in the area, because I would be shopping here all the time and dining as well. Every time I visit Toledo, this is a must.
