Animal Clinic Northview

I’ve had my last two dogs and cat there. I’ve heard so many people say how expensive they are and yes they are, but so are other vets. You get what you pay for. The services there are excellent, from the emergency services, regular visits, the veterinarians and the staff is great. I had my boy Roman there several times as he has been fighting cancer. During one of his visits he had to stay in the emergency room area and I was able to go back there to visit him. I was so shocked to see how it looked. It was cleaner than a human emergency room and you could actually talk to someone. They had a tech sitting right outside his cage watching him his entire stay. I can not say enough good things about this clinic, from the techs, staff and veterinarians there. Roman got tired and fought a good battle with cancer. I will truly miss my big boy. I would like to thank the techs and the veterinarian that took care of Roman on his final day. When the time is right I will definitely use Animal Clinic Northview again!

The entire team was very accommodating and went above and beyond when taking care of my feline sissy’s. All three needed dental work and after their procedures and a few days of rest you could tell they were feeling so much better. We couldn’t have asked for better care. Thank you to the entire staff who took care of Bandi, Maggie and Baby.

I came on Easter morning for an emergency visit with my very sick dog (sicker than I’ve ever experienced and I was honestly panicked). The entire staff was kind and caring. Dr. Liskay was AMAZING. She took her time talking over options and even talked to me on the phone a few hours after we got home when I was once again panicking because his symptoms worsened. I never felt rushed by anyone and got the best care for my boy to bounce back. So so grateful for Animal Clinic Northview! Picture of my healthy pup after receiving such loving care!

Our 8 month old kitten came down with her 3rd cold and decided to also stop eating and drinking and instead start puking. Northview got us in almost immediately, were super patient and friendly, and put the little mucous-monster right at ease. They run a tight ship there and got her squared away with fluids, meds, and a gentle but thorough check up. The only surprise was how low the cost was for late night care! They are now my go to for all emergency needs and can't recommend them enough.

Top notch service! Got me in right away . Also did not have to wait long for the appt while I was there! Dr. Howell was so kind and compassionate with my dog. He was very thorough and had a very good plan of care for my dog! Will definitely be coming back!

Our kitty Ham became ill suddenly and unexpectedly. Unfortunately we had to put him to sleep. The staff at Northview animal clinic were so compassionate and understanding. We were put in a nice quiet room to say goodbye to Ham and we were able to take our time with him. My family really appreciated this. Fully recommend this animal clinic.

I took our mastiff, Lucy, here 3/1/24, because her abdomen was swollen, she had stopped eating, and was not peeing nor having bowel movements. We found out she likely had cancer and were given a few options. A week later, she seemed to have worsen. We were forced to make the decision to put her down, so I called back 3/8 when our local vet couldn't get her an appt until Monday. We knew she couldn't hold on that long, we couldn't do that to our protector. When we brought Lucy in 3/9, the staff was amazing and put us in a private/ dark room. They had a plate with her name written in cheez whiz, slimjims, and a Hershey kiss, but Lucy was ready to go and wouldn't touch anything they offered. The gesture was simply amazing, though. After giving us time to say our final goodbyes, the staff was amazing and so thoughtful. I will always recommend Animal Clinic Northview to my friends and family. The drive from Sandusky was totally worth it. Thank you to everybody who helped both days. When we took Lucy 3/9, one of the girls who had been there the week before came out, apologized, and snuggled Lucy while we waited. Though it will be tough to walk back in for her ashes, we know she knew she was cared for on her final days.

They are and have always been great in my experience. I’ve had old pets put down, I’ve had babies spayed, I’ve had middle of the night emergency visits and also regular annual visits. While they are definitely on the pricier side, to me, they are by far worth every penny. The staff are great and friendly. The ladies working the desk at 2 am answering when you’re panicking are super sweet and helpful too. I got a personalized card NOT JUST SIGNED by my vet but written and personalized by my vet & all other staff when I had to suddenly put down my kitten. I’ve never had to wait longer than a week for an appointment and even then it was availability on my end that prevented me from going sooner. I live 25 minutes away and still would rather cross town than find a new vet.

I was very impressed with the time Dr. Howell took to talk with us about Herbie's condition. He very carefully explained three options for his care without trying to push us to the most expensive. What I mean is that he was genuine in his concern for the dog and supportive of us as we worked to make a decision. We were lucky to get to see him. He is a fine, fine doctor.

I’m so grateful for the amazing staff who were so thorough with Milo, they were so good to him and went above and beyond. The space is very nice! Set up conveniently and very clean. There was no wait, though I would have understood if there was, they would be worth a wait! I took him in for emergency service, and although it was a Sunday visit, it was very reasonably priced! I am so thankful to Dr. Liskay. Her kind, compassionate, understanding, knowledgeable care was fantastic. By the time I got my pet home, he was feeling so good he’s already started eating again! I’m so grateful to have found such a wonderful place, and look forward to working with them again!

Absolutely the best reproductive veterinarians in the country. I drive from over 6 hours to see them. Love Dr. Greenfield. Professional, thorough, and their prices are very reasonable.

Animal Clinic Northview is an exceptional veterinary hospital with an amazing staff who are truly full of compassion for animals and pet owners. The entire staff is friendly positive and upbeat, and a pleasure to interact with. I would like to particularly highlight Dr. Catie Lavigne , with her kindness vast knowledge and directness, customer care and bedside manner. Highly recommend!

As a vet assistant at a one doctor practice in Sandusky, we always recommend people here for emergencies because they are they closest 24 hour clinic from our location and I have never had a bad experience with my personal pets. A few weeks ago, my great dane had to have emergency surgery with ACN and all of the staff was amazing. I am so grateful for all of them (a special thanks to Dr. Reppart for seeing him on emergency, Dr. Liskay for performing his surgery, and Katrina for keeping an extra close eye on him in the ICU overnight)! Being in the field and knowing too much about what's wrong with your pet can be extra scary, but I knew he was in good hands there. Dexter is doing amazing now!!

We came in for a first time, emergency visit with our puppy that got into an accident and the staff was very professional, kind and knowledgeable. We were very impressed with the facility and would highly recommend their services. Luckily, we departed with some great news for our little guy and he’s on the road to recovery!

Dr. Mooney and the staff at Northview are amazing. They were able to see my sick kitty right away, diagnose the issue and provide treatment. He had to be kept overnight and I was called twice with updates- which as a nervous cat mom, I truly appreciated. My cat is doing very well now. I will recommend this facility to anyone who has the need for emergency care.

Yukon saw Dr. Howell for a cough he can’t seem to shake. It was determined he has allergies and Dr. Howell went over options and we decided to try Benadryl twice a day. Thank you Dr. Howell. Yukon hardly coughs at all, only when we’re outside for a long time. Yeah Team Northview!

Kodiak saw Dr. Howell today because he supplemented his diet with 3 River Rocks. Pictures showed 2 were still in his system, one in his colon, one in his small intestine, the third he vomited out which alerted me to the situation. So, I’m on rigid poop patrol waiting for the payday. My Woolly Husky, Kodiak, is a big baby who I love dearly. He is very opinionated and howls very loudly at everything. So thank you Northview for taking such good care of my boy and allowing him to vent his opinion so dramatically. I can’t imagine a better care facility with such caring, friendly, and qualified group of people.

The Dr./Vet I had for my dog was amazing! She took her time to talk to me and look at my dog! She made me feel comfortable and confident that I was in good hand with my dog. She was so friendly she felt like an old friend and was easy to talk to. I sure hope that I get to see her again next time I’m in for my dog needs!

Fantastic people who are truly in it for the animals. We took our Nala in when she was in labor and struggling, they took her right in in the middle of the night and got right to it. Very reasonable pricing for incredibly skilled work. Sam has been absolutely amazing. I am blown away by your service. Thank you thank you thank you.

Amazing with both Cats and Exotics

I came here a year ago with my tortoise after trying 4 other vets. Unfortunately I found them too late. Dr. Lindstrom was amazing. He explained everything he was doing in terms we could understand. He was gentle and caring. We ended up putting him to sleep. I broke down. He was patient and kind. Dr. Lindstrom send us a condolence card.

We came today with our cat, Cosmo. We saw Dr. Corrigan. She was also extremely gentle with him. She was thorough and also explained everything to us very well. Her assistant was calm and kind. I definitely recommend her if you have a cat.

All the staff here are amazing. They’re worth every penny.
