I know everyone’s talking about the wedding soup, and yes, it is delicious, but let’s talk about these FRIED PICKLES!!! This place is awesome, reasonably priced, and great staff. Keep it up!

I enjoyed pizza from Avalon Pizzeria a few weeks ago at a book signing event and decided to order one for dinner tonight. Wow! The 'Pesto Hot Honey' pizza was absolutely delicious. If you live in the downtown Youngstown area, you've got to give these guys a try. Prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. What more can you ask for!

Avalon Pizzeria is an extremely pleasant surprise we discovered a couple of months ago and we love their food! The pizza is so tasty, the wedding soup is flavorful and the fried cheese perfectly done. The staff is so friendly every time I pick up our order and even though we don't eat in, the restaurant looks clean and inviting.

Conveniently located next to the children's play museum, this is an excellent restaurant for gluten free pizza! Regular pizza looked great, too. Fries were good. $20 for both and a side of dip. Very friendly staff!! Highly recommend!

Ordered two medium pizzas to go…
one with cheese & sauce and one with pepperoni. I also bought two orders of pizzelles for dessert, one vanilla & one anise. I especially enjoyed their pizza sauce, it leans on the sweeter side, but I like it that way! I did enjoy how they put the pepperoni under the cheese. The pizzelles were delicious! Thin & crispy with just the right amount of sweetness
The girl at the front desk took care of me in a professional timely manner. I had one beverage from their bar. The bartender was friendly and fast. The atmosphere was enjoyable. Surprising to me, It was bustling for a Tuesday evening. Overall I was impressed. I look forward to going back and taking my family & friends.

Great pizza! We used to go to the Avalon on Belmont back in the day. The pizza is the same, just as we remembered. Great crusted pizza!! Keep the tradition alive!!

I've been going to uptown pizza.My whole life never knew this place.Existed decided to try it and I found a new pizza place The owner and his wife are very nice.And I love supporting local businesses Especially when they put their heart into the business

Amazing bartender there. I had the best martini I've ever had. I hope they keep that guy because he knows what he's doing. I ordered a dirty martini and watched him make it and it was like watching a painter creating a masterpiece. He let the glass sit for a little while with some ice and water. Then used good vermouth and gin which was shaken (not stirred). They also have this really tasty olive brine for them. I like that they don't use a traditional martini glass, they never seem like they hold much and even if you're sober they spill too easy and trust me, you don't want to waste a drop of this martini. It's served with some great olives on a bamboo skewer. I was very impressed by the skill of the bartender. I would definitely recommend going there if you enjoy different cocktails.

Made my order to meet my dietary restrictions and it turned out so good despite looking different from most of the other pizza's that were ordered. So glad that I can still eat pizza with the rest of my work crew. 💚

The pizza is the best in the valley!! Had an overall great experience. The only issue we had was it was a bit loud in the restaurant. But it was also a Friday night and they have high ceilings. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

Well we found this place on accident and when we walked in it smelled amazing..we sat down at the bar because it was busy night...we order a coupke drinks first then order a couple pizza and they was absolutely delicious...the waitress/bartender was really sweet and very helpful when it came to deciding on what to order..i was very impressed with both pizza we ordered...i highly recommend for you to try this place to eat ..you could order it to go or sit and enjoy it there..

My new favorite pizza place! Went today and it's decorated for the holiday- looks food! BBQ chicken pizza was great! The 8" is perfect size for 1.
